Good facility but DIRECTLY under the flight path for Miami Intl. Airport. You do get used to it!

I was in town for 5 nights. With all hotel I usually stay in booked, and this hotel getting good reviews and very decent value, I decided to try it for 1 night. (Thank god didn't stay the full 5 nights). Hotel is conveniently located, checking was somewhat easy.... I get to the room there were no towels, I try to dial front desk from the room, this […] actual button from the phone doesn't work, so I had to go back to front desk to ask for the towels which they delivered very fast. There was a leftover piece of chocolate under a desk. Room seemed clean enough, but it's just worn out. Right there and then, decided to pay a little extra and move to another place. Had a great stay...very convenient and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful...I would totally recommend this hotel to my friends.

The room was really nice as it had a mini suite. The bed area was tight. A large person could not get in the bed from the right side. On the tight side there was not a night stand.

This hotel was great, the kitchen was very useful, the staff helpful, the room clean, the pool and hottub were also nice. Highly recommended.

Always find clean beds. Only place we continue to come back to close to most places we enjoy visiting.

Nice hotel. very good location and relaxing/quite. room was comfortable and clean. They have an area with a resonable amount of items for purchas so this was very convenient. Also had laundry facilities. Would recommend to anyone.

The room was clean, but was very small. The bathroom was also clean, but seemed outdated. Bottom line, for the price the room and bed were too small. Very clean though.

This hotel is 15mins from the train & airport,and 20 to the cruise port so its well situated. The room was clean & the bed was very comfortable. Also, Hotels.com made 2 HUGE mistakes when booking me the 2 rooms I had & the hotel management at Candlewood tried their best to make us comfortable even though it was not their mistake to fix. Always a great place to stay. Staff is very professional, clean and comfortable beds and a quiet place to relax. Our favorite place to stay when visiting Miami.

The hotel was economical, clean and not difficult to find. The weak point is that the wall insulation was not good enough to isolate the fun noise from kids residing in the next room or in the hall way.

the hotel was conveniently located near the airport, room had a small kitchenette, with a full sized fridge, microwave and two range stove. Very nice!! However the rooms/decor do need updating. The only complaint is the check-in staff was very slow. There was a Brazilian party ahead of us and it took over an hour to resolve their issue (according […] to the other guest in line after them but before me). I had to wait about 20 minutes. There were other people behind the counter chit-chatting for some time, until one of them came and help the other person and me. Very unprofessional. They need an automatic entrance, so you can go in with your luggade without someone holding the door.

The staff was friendly and willing to assist. The elevators were not working and the staff could not say when these will be fixed. With the suites on the third floor, we had to carry everything up and down the fire escape. No fun when you have to carry sleeping kids, shopping, etc. Maid service was non-existant! Extremely friendly front desk. Very clean room and bathroom. The little kitchenette was just right. I would totally recommend this hotel for those who are not into 5 stars and just want a safe and clean place to stay in the Miami metro area. Dolphin mall and international mall are 5-10 minutes away depending on traffic.

I stayed here once before and was so impressed I returned a second time. From now on anytime I need to stay in the Miami area this is the place I choose.

While the hotel.com rate was favorable, $70 in taxi charges wiped out any benefit compared to any place in the $130 range that had a shuttle. Had I been comparing in that price range, I likely would have picked somewhere else. Room was either too cold or too hot, noisy, shabby. Bed was clean and comfortable.

We were a little disappointed that there were no jetted tubs,we were really looking forward to that,kind of chose this hotel just for it but we were very happy with the room overall.The kitchenette was great,clean as a whistle,not even a crumb to be seen.We will be back.

I was very pleasantly surprised with this hotel. I actually chose the non-refundable rate for my stay here, which - although it is usually significantly lower than the refundable rate - is still a chance I seldom take as photos can be very deceiving, but I don't regret it this time at all. The rooms here are spacious studios with fairly good quality linens. The staff was very pleasant. If all you need is somewhere to sleep in this part of the city, then it is a good choice. The area is, however, pretty sad.

I chose this hotel for the price, the previous good ratings and the proximity to the kayak race I was going to the following morning. The people at the desk were very nice and helpful. When I asked if my kayak would be safe overnight on my car, the girl at the desk said that leaving it there probably wasn't a good idea. So, they let me store it in a […] locked storage room and were up early the next morning so I could reload it on my car. I didn't use the exercise room but it looked well-equipped. They had a nice selection of DVD's you could view for free. There were restaurants within walking distance. There was free coffee available all the time in a room stocked with various foods which you could take and later pay for using the honor system. The only issue we had was our first room - which was supposed to be non-smoking - smelled of smoke. ...for the money. I like the in-suite kitchen and the room was clean. We were given a smoking room after reserving a non-smoking room but it didn't smell at all so we just stayed. It's by no means a 5-star hotel, but we would definitely stay again and I'd feel comfortable recommending it.

The room was clean, all personal was pleasant & helpful. Neighborhood was fine, would not worry about going out alone. This hotel is scheduled to be remodeled but it is clean & comfortable. The pool & whirlpool was a plesant surprise, enjoyed it. The little store and grill on patio were also a great idea.

Once again I had great service and a wonderful stay at this hotel. Strongly recommend to anyone who needs a little more space than your regular sized hotel room at a very good price!!! Awesome job from the staff.

hard to find rooms need a little spruce me up

overall an excellent experience. Starting from the friendliness from the staff, professionalism, and AFFORDABLE! rates for the room. What a great labor day weekend!

I booked this because it was cheap and convenient, and it turned out that the standard was better than expected. Spacious, clean, good quality bathroom/towels etc.

We will not recommend this hotel to any friends, family, co-workers, horrible experience, nothing was satifactory.

It's a very warm suite that make me feel like a home. a full or queen size bed, a comfort sofa, a big table with a boss chair and a normal chair, a full equipped kitchen! The only thing that make me annoyed is the ants cauz of food.

Very nice suite. Great location. Close to Miami Air Port and cruise lines.

This was truly an wesome deal. I actually stayed here about 10 years ago and this time was just as please. The hotel is very quiet and confortable, no airport noise, the rooms are spacious and you have a full kitchenette, ready for an exptended stay. a HUGE plus is the free use of whasher and dryers, as well as their pantry where they essentially have […] a little convenience store. There is also a gym. I would deffinitly stay here again. The location is great is you are going to Doral or staying in the sweetwater area, a little bit of a hike if you are going to party in South Beach but the htel is close enough to the major freeways that this is not too bad of an isue. Room was exceptional and bed was very very comfortable. Great pub down the road. Pool and ammenities were great. $22 dollar cab fares to and from hotel were a bummer!

Air conditioner did not work

I was to only stay 4 days, but added two more. It is everything people say it is. Pool, laundry, exercise room. The staff and the customers were friendly when I was there. Very pleasant. I would certainly stay there again. It was everything I needed in a hotel.
