レストランが閉まってたのが残念。 トイレの水の閉まりが悪くてずっと流れてうるさかった。場所は良かった。 コーヒーのサービスがとても良かった。 スタッフの対応も良かった。

リフレッシュ休暇を利用し、親を連れて8日間それぞれシングルユースで滞在いたしました。 ニューヨークには何度か遊びに行きましたが、今回はホテルのロケーションをアッパーウエスト限定に選びました。ミッドタウンのような喧騒とは違い、ブロードウエイにはこのあたりですと街路樹もあり、広々しており、徒歩２，３分圏内にはゼイバーズ、シタレラ、フェアウエイなどのスーパーマーケットがあり、目の前には24時間営業のスーパーと売店もあり大変便利で良い環境です。 タイムズスクエアにも地下鉄２、３ラインなら一駅で3分。ミュージカルを観たあとも簡単に帰れます。 スタンダードキングの部屋は多少狭いかもしれませんが、スーペリアーキングの部屋は問題ありません。ただしこちらはホテルの構造上窓の外は壁の部屋に割り当てられる可能性が […] あります。 部屋にはドライヤー、アイロンとアイロン台、冷蔵庫、バスタオル、フェイスタオル、ハンドタオルが各々2枚づつ設置されていました。 ホテルのバルコニーは誰でも利用でき、ここでは喫煙も可能です。 フロント前のビジネスセンターには常時利用可能なＰＣが3台設置されており、逐一日本の情報収集もできます。 また、７９st.にはコインランドリーがあり、中長期の滞在にも便利です。 もっと読む

現地の知人に会うため、１人でNYに行きました。 ホテルの場所は、ブロードウェイと77thの交差点から少し東に入った所にありますが、私の案内された客室はブロードウェイに面したお部屋でした。 コロンバスサークルなどのNYらしい繁華街からは少し離れているせいか、住宅街が広がっていますが、ロケーションは良く、東に直進すれば自然史博物館・セントラルパークに徒歩で行けます。同じく徒歩圏内に、ゼイバーズやサラベスなどのお店もありますし、スタバもあちこちにあるので、朝食には全く困りませんでした。また、人通りはぐっと減るのですが、ホテル周辺は、22時頃に外を歩いていてもあまり危険な感じではなかったです。 フロントには気さくな人が多く、チェックイン・チェックアウトの際にミドルネームで呼びかけてくれたり、部屋の […] 様子や滞在はどうであったか簡単な英語で喋りかけてくれましたが、ドアマンは、基本的にお喋りに夢中で、あまり外の様子には注意を向けていないようなので、帰国する際にタクシーに乗り込むのを手伝ってもらっただけです。 お部屋はスタンダードでしたが、クイーンサイズのベッドはとても大きく157cmの私が大の字になって寝ても縦も横も余るくらいでしたし、清潔で、寝心地もかなり良かったです。ただし、ベッドが大きすぎるせいか、部屋全体は狭く、スーツケースを大きく開くのに苦労しました。 水回りは、バスタブが無くシャワーだけでした。外国にしては割と丁寧に掃除されていたので、私は気になりませんでしたが、日本のそれとは違うので、気になる人は、ビーチサンダルなどを履いてシャワーするとよいかもしれません。タオルは、常に３種類完備されていましたがバスローブはありませんので、パジャマは持参必須です。 冷蔵庫に間違えるミニバーがありましたが、利用は有料なので、気を付けた方がよいかもしれません。 私個人としては、全体の満足度が高かったので、おすすめできるホテルです。 もっと読む

アメリカの特徴なのか、アメニティで歯ブラシ、ひげ剃りヘアブラシが無かったのが残念でした。 あと、女性は特にシャンプー、トリートメントは持参した方が良いですね！ 因みに化粧水、乳液等もありません。 空港から直の方はお持ちでしょうが、私達は滞在先から観光するために泊まったので荷物を最小限にした為歯ブラシ等は不携帯でした。近くで見つけたものの、やはり値段が少々高く無駄なお金を使ってしまったような…。しかし、ホテルのテラスはリラックスできました！

一人で宿泊するには充分の広さでした。 シャワールームは狭いけど、きちんとお湯もでたし、満足です。周りの環境も静かです

I had a very good stay here. The hotel is very posh and classy and I got the room for a great price!

The most important thing to me is cleanliness & whether the bed is comfortable. The room was small but perfectly clean. The king bed was extremely firm & comfortable. Both my husband and I slept extremely well which is not always the case in hotels;

Very pleasant stay at On the Ave hotel. Two blocks from the closest subway station. Good variety of restaurants in Amsterdam Avenue.

There was a great deal of construction outside of the hotel that I was not warned about before booking my stay. When I arrived, I asked for a room with a tub only to be placed in a street side room where there was drilling directly across. When I asked to be relocated, they promptly did so but they only had one room left. I would have been very upset […] if they were not able to move me. On another note, the bed was very uncomfortable. Perfect in every way! We were pleased with the decor and the room. Staff was very helpful. Only a couple blocks to central park and subway. Surprisingly quiet too! We will definitely stay here again next time we go to NYC!

a real sleeper

Great location on the Upper West Side. Convenient to subway, both parks (Central and Riverside) and lots of options for restaurants or grocery stores (great that there are mini-fridges in the rooms). The lobby, terrace and (my) room looked great and were clean. First room claustrophobically small, they were very nice to then move us. Next room had no hot water initially, then no water out of the shower head at all. My son had to go to sleep so we made the best of it.

Hotel had very good service, room is small but thats not unusual for NYC. Only complaint I have is the room wasnt to clean. Found garbage in the bathroom from the prior guest.

Smaller room (2 double beds) but great service and a wonderful hotel.

If excellence in service and convenient location are important, then OTA is for you. The desk staff and doormen were excellent and the location is walking distance to just about everything the Upper West Side has to offer.

All I wanted was a wake up call,I went to the desk in person the night before they said no problem.Did not get a call instead was an hour late for my appt. the next day.He told me that I said I had a personal alarm,whatever that means......

I booked this for my parents and it was just what I wanted for them. Stylish, modern, and in a great neighborhood.

The hotel is only 2 blocks from subway in a very nice area with wonderful diners and markets within walking distance. There is a beautiful terrace with outdoor sofas and chairs overlooking the city on the 16th floor. We bought desserts from the market and had dessert on the terrace every night. The rooms are good size for NYC, Beautiful bathrooms.

My husband and I had no choice but to to check out of this hotel after the first night of our honeymoon. We were given a lovely room on the second floor and were very happy with the comfort and decor of the hotel. Unfortunately we were woken up in the wee hours of the morning by construction workers working and walking around on the scaffolding directly […] outside our window. This is the first time that I stayed at a hotel in New York City. It’s located at a very convenience location, walk distance to the American Museum of Nature History, the Central Park and subway stations. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, though it was a room, and furniture and wall paper were old. The bathroom was in a reasonable size, […] but the towels were old and lost of their original white color. This is a four star hotel, I expected they would have some kind of information for the tourists , shopping and restaurants in the NCY available in the guest rooms, just like the hotels in other big cities in the US. I was disappointed to find out that there wasn’t any in the room where I stayed. Overall a nice hotel. Standard room is a bit small but good for an overnight stay.

The GOOD: Nice looking lobby, rooms are very tight (kinda expect that in NYC) but clean. The BAD: Just started construction of new building across the street (7am-7pm... jack hammering, concrete trucks, etc.) so if your a late sleeper, try to get rooms facing uptown.... we were on 8th floor facing downtown and it was LOUD!

Modern, clean & close to everything I needed. Perfect little getaway & I can't wait to plan my next visit.

I have stayed here with family and co-workers. Everyone is happy, and so am I! Atmosphere, convenience, staff, and consistently so! Great!

The rooms were small, but otherwise the hotel was nice. They put us on the street side and at 8 am every morning (6 am our time) there was loud construction noise. I was disappointed with the price of the hotel and how it was reflected in the overall cleanliness of the room. There were hairs in the bathroom and the carpet was dirty and stained throughout the room. Many of the corners appeared as if they were not vacuumed. It was very upsetting. For the price I expected to stay in a room that was at the very least […] tidy and well-kept. Otherwise the neighborhood and location were perfect. It is a short walk to Central Park and there are many good restaurants to try around the hotel. The subway is also either two blocks or five blocks away depending on which line you want to take. Recently stayed at OTA for a quick in and out business trip. The location was perfect, the weather happened to be fantastic, and the accomodations were very nice. I was in New York for the weekend and this was a great spot to stay. Close to everything and a mellow neighborhood to return to at the end of the evening. The staff were exceptional. Our room was just fine, small but stylish. I will definitely stay here on my next visit.

Great location, clean linens, even small rooms still nice and confortable, nice and helpful staff. I will recomended eventhout maintenance is not that well. In our room several tiles were loose and dangerus at the bathroom.

So I know that NYC is known for the matchbox size of its rooms, however, with only two carry-ons in tow, my GF and I were forced to hurl ourselves over the bed to traverse the room, as all of the available floor space was taken up by our suitcases. The hotel, itself, is very nice. We were complimentarily upgraded to a king suite upon arrival, which […] makes me shudder at the thought of how small the twin room used to be. Didn't seem to be too bothered by the noise or construction that other commenters have seemed bothered by. Our biggest complaint was that the mattress was ROCK hard. I slept through it just fine, but my GF has some serious back problems, and so we ended up pulling the matress cover off of my side of the bed and doubling it on hers; she said even that was pushing it. I know, I'm a saint. Everything else: Great location, easy walk to central park, and the Natural History musuem, lots of great food surrounding. We had a wonderful time. There is a fire station and also a new building construction zone directly across 77th street from this hotel. On weekdays the jack-hammering begins promptly at 7:15am. I am sure some rooms are affected more than others because there are some that face Broadway and others that face the inside of the block (i.e. no- view) Unfortunately ours was on the […] 77th street side and even on a high floor it seemed like the sounds were right outside our window. Other than that, we found the room to be clean, though tiny. The housekeeping staff was very friendly -- they even left some earplugs for us. I have stayed at On the Ave several times, and each time I return I'm pleasantly surprised with the standard of service, and the friendly staff. They really go out of their way to accommodate guests! The UWS is my favorite neighborhood ( I lived there for 10yrs) and I enjoy seeing all the old favorites, and new spots that are showing up

The hotel was booked at the last minute for a weekend trip to nyc- once we got there we were greeted by friendly staff inside and reception desk especially (Ramona) maybe the friendliest customer service person ever in NYC!
