Very badly managed property which does not live up to Wyndham's brand image. Dirty rooms and low quantities of food for bkfst (closing 30 min early was ridiculous). Bkfst basically is a sham. Managers reception is a bigger sham. Not worth your money - stay somewhere else.

We've stayed here many times before but unfortunately we were very disappointed on this stay...Tub would not drain, hair from previous guest remained in tub....tv had poor reception and not enough hangers in closet. We spoke with front desk concernning these infractions and all they had to say is they are sorry and hotel is full.

The hotel, staff, and amenities were fine for this level of hotel, however, as soon as you leave the lobby, the hotel smells like like a smoking hotel, especially the room. I spoke with some other guests and they said their rooms were the same.

this hotel doesnt provide wifi. trust me, redroof wifi signal was much better that we used redroof signal sitting in this hotel. wifi signal of this hotel was so weak that we couldnt even detect it. pillows are horrible, you can never sleep comfortably. Video quality on TV reminded me television sets of 80s god, it was so pathetic

After having my flight cancelled, I ended up at the DFW north Wingate location. It was late when I checked in and I was definitely a distressed traveler. When I got to the room, I was told I had reserved a smoking room, which I know I hadn't, and she made a big deal about putting me in a non-smoking room. Although the room was clean, there were holes […] in sheet and the remote barely worked. The windows were so thin, I could hear every sound outside. The next morning, I took the shuttle to the airport and realized my toiletries, cosmetics, and medication were still in my room. We enjoyed our stay at the Wingate, especially after a long day of travel. The hotel is very clean, has many amenities, restaurants close by, and the room was large, clean and very comfortable. We would stay at this hotel again.

The location was awesome, just six minutes from DFW Airport, but check in wasn't until after 3 pm and when I got into the room the bedside lamp on the left side of the bed did not work. I have stayed at this brand hotel in the past without issue. This property was in a shady part of town with nothing near by within walking distance (food, groceries...). We were disappointed that the free breakfast that was supposed to run until 9 am was stopped at 830. No coffee, no hot food, and there were at least 20 of us in the lobby area searching […] for hot food and coffee (as promised). We were told by a staffer that because it was close to 9 that no more additional hot food or coffee would be made. Staff was indifferent across the board. Small gym had zero ventilation and was about 80 degrees when I went for a run. No air in a gym? Really? Nice business center, all equipment was in working order. I would not return to this location. great stay, great staff, awesome hotel and close to most attractions.

nice location near airport/ roads to areas/ easy to get around; rooms were good except for bathroom shower (water all over the place); breakfast in am was ok; pool was a little dirty. otherwise, not bad for short stay at the price paid.

The hotel was close to the airport, which is what I needed most. Was clean and comfortable. Much bigger than I expected. My only complain was surrounding the hotel. There's absolutely nothing there but a run down Red Roof Inn and a Denny's. You have to drive about 4 miles to have any options of stores or places to eat. Great place to stay for an overnight before leaving on a trip out of DFW airport. Though modest, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The shuttle service leaves a bit to be desired and the front eating area had not been cleaned nor picked up from the night before (beer bottles left on tables and popcorn over the floor). Entire hotel smells like smoke. Hallways, elevator, fitness center, etc. You can tell hotel is dated. Hotel is location is convenient but other choices are also nearby. Shop around before you buy. Also only Denny's to eat within walking distance.

The first floor rooms can hear all movement upstairs from other guests walking. The front desk did not instruct us to the proper name of the shuttle to look for when we were at the airport. He stated to look for a van with certain lettering on it but when the van came, it was not at all the words/lettering the hotel stated. Be clear on the hotels van […] before giving instructions to the guests. Front Desk stated that the previous van apparently was not being used and that it did in fact have the specific wording he alerted us to. He apologized for the mix up. The buffet had boiled eggs. We went to Dallas with a group of 11 people from our church so we booked 3 rooms for 3 nights. everyone was pleased with the hotel. The price was great for the quality of hotel. The free breakfast was a big plus since we were on a tight schedule and didn't have time to buy breakfast outside. The one thing i didnt like was the mildew in the shower. Everything else was perfect

My husband and I decided to stay at the Wingate by Wyndam hotel 1 night during a long lay over after our honeymoon. The hotel website advertised a hotel shuttle from the airport to the hotel. Once we landed, I called the hotel front desk to schedule the airport pick. We were told that the shuttle would be there in 20 minutes. Booked a suite which has two air conditioners. One did not work. Reported first day but was not repaired during our stay. Thank goodness the other one kept the space relatively comfortable. Hallways and elevators were not very cool either. It took 4 phone calls and being left standing on the curb for well over an hour before the hotel shuttle service picked us up. The hallways of the hotel reek of cigarette smoke - but the room did not. We will not be staying at this hotel again or recommending it to our friends. As a hotel, the property was fine, typical massmarket hotel. Problem is with their customer service and particularly, shuttle service. I was left at DFW waiting for their shuttle for an hour and a half in spite of trying to call the hotel over a dozen times. Only four of these times did I actually speak to anyone as the receptionist wasn't answering […] the phone as she was flooded with a line of people checking in that one person was not enough to service (particularly with their incredibly slow check-in system). They were unable to recognize that they had given the wrong directions to the shuttle pickup, I advised them that I had not seen a bus go passed in an hour and they still did not think to check whether they were giving the correct directions. Then the gave my cell number to the shuttle company and they took an hour to call, once I had made my own way to the hotel and fallen asleep, waking me. Hotels provide sleep, and airport hotels do so at awkward times. They need to service this need properly before anything else matters. Oh, and when I got there, it took 40 minutes to check in (behind a line of just three other people) and the room card I was given didn't work so I had to come back down for another. Nice hotel but lacking in customer service. We chose this hotel because of location, name, and they offer refrigerator and microwave. We checked in and immediately had to leave to attend a reunion. We purchased refrigerator items late that night only to discover our refrigerator did not work. Called first thing the next morning and they said they would […] take care of it. They did not. When asked why they said they had to order a new one. Really? What about switching it with one in an unoccupied room. No refrigerator during our entire stay. The halls smell like smoke, and the rooms are definitely outdated and appear very used. The breakfast is good, and the employees are friendly. Overall - I wouln't stay there again.

the hotel was great, it was full but very quiet. breakfast was very good. price was good stayed 3 nights only complaint not the hotels fault was all the construction going on 114 and its surroundings made it hard to find places to eat and shop.

It would have been nice to know that the free shuttle only goes to the airport regularly - and doesn't go to other places, like the mall or orther attractions (especially on the weekends) even by request. Also, there is a free breakfact, but again it would have nice to know that it doesn't open until at least 7:00 am and so, you can't get anything earlier […] on the weekends. This is one of the nicest places we've stayed. The staff was extremely nice and the airport shuttle was very prompt.

Room/service/ammenities were adequate. Good value for the money. Very near DFW. Good breakfast. Handy location for us. Exercise equipment did not work properly. Could hear voices in the next room. Bed slept fine. Accidentally left our car unlocked one night and no one bothered it. All our stuff was still inside the next morning. Staff was friendly.

We were in Dallas for a waterpolo tournament and the location was perfect. The rooms were clean and beds comfy. Breakfast was quite good and very fresh. If we are ever in the area again, will definintely stay there again.

The hotel was nice and clean. Decorations were modern. It was quite comfortable and roomy. The only bad thing was that one of the main reasons for choosing to stay here was the hot tub, but it was out of order the whole time. Convenient location, very clean and incredibly pleasant staff...business meetings for 3 days in the lobby area and staff took GREAT care of us in every way.
