We have a very nice stay. The rooms (we had 2 of them) were very clean. The staff was extremely curtious. The location to Six Flags was perfect. I will stay here again.

Overall we were pleased with the Hotel. The only negative is the bathroom is really small. Only 1 person can be in there at a time. The pool is a disappointment too. No shade and really, really small, also.

WE LOVED THE ROOM AND ALL THE AMMENITIES. VERY CLOSE TO BALLPARK AND RODE THE SHUTTLE TO THE GAME WHICH WAS GREAT. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

When attempting to check into this fully prepaid motel room, we were kept waiting for a full 30 minute because "there is a problem with the credit card." Lady, my card was charged and cleared two weeks ago! Not only could they not work the card associated with motels.com, the clerk kept repeating the phrase "There's a problem with this credit card," […] and she made sure that every other guest knew it. But she also IMPLIED that it was my card. I was thoroughly embarrassed. Then, we were told this was a suite, but there was barely room to walk in the single room after we opened the sofa-sleeper for my grandsons. There were three towels and two wash cloths for four people. Then the toilet overflowed - and when the desk-clerk answered the phone, her first question was "Did you turn off the water?" Then she (yes, the desk-clerk was also the maintenance person!) proceeded to come and mop with a dry mop and tell us that us that "usually when this toilet overflows, we cannot use the room because it goes all the way out into the hall!" Excellent stay, beds so comfortable, quiet, clean. Very nice.

Stayed here with high school boys attending a football camp. The room was great. Beds were super. Breakfast was more than enough for them. We didn't use the pool because it was small with small kids playing. Easy in-and-out to traffic and great location to restaurants, Hurricane Harbor, Six Flags, Texas Rangers, and Cowboy Stadium. Review on Room #123 Stay: 6/5/11 & 6/6/11 I've never stayed at a Wingate before and was concerned that it would be a mistake. I was completely wrong. This hotel met all of my expectations and more. The lobby is well lit and welcoming. The manager of the hotel seems to be always there and attentive. He was eager to assist my needs and always had a smile. […] There was one woman at the desk who was a bit crabby and unfriendly. One night, we needed additional towels and a blanket. Our room was less than 50 ft from her desk. I called at 10:00 to get these items. When I inquired of her, she said, "Well.. " and hesitated. "We don't have..." and stopped. Then very abruptly said, "I'll bring them to you in a minute." She needs to find another job as customer service isn't her thing, but I will not allow her to bring down the rest of the team. Location: The hotel location is the best thing about the hotel. It's close to the stadiums and to Six Flags. In addition, there is a complimentary trolley that services all of the area hotels that will take you to and from the attractions. It runs approximately every 25 minutes, but the money we saved in parking and hassle made our trip so much nicer. The city of Arlington really does it right. Additionally, there are several restaurants nearby which will require a car or a solid walk to get to. We ordered in pizza one night and ate out another. Room: The room was great, but the furnishings and wallpaper is dated. It felt like it was from the late 80s. That doesn't really matter. My biggest concerns are 1) is it clean? 2) is the bed comfortable? On both cases the room met the standard. I read other reviews that the bed was too soft, but I felt it was perfect. Nice support, but a good pillowtop mattress. The pillows were not flat, but not too big either. I was fully rested after a night sleeping in this bed. Staff was very courteous during a busy holiday weekend. Expanded continental breakfast is very convenient. Rooms are well-appointed and very clean, I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone going to the Arlington entertainment district.

This Hotel was wonderful,,great service,locationand awesome breakfast,,the only conplaint my grandkids had ,(the pool was too small). Transportation to all the parks,good location for resturaunts.Super CLEAN rooms...

This is a pretty good hotel in the nicer part of Arlington. The only complaint I have is with the pillows. They were too fat. Other chains have pillows with different thicknesses, but not this hotel. They were way too thick. Other than that I had a good stay.

Picked this location because of Six Flags which was very close to hotel. A shuttle was provided to carry people to park. The hotel was very clean and the rooms comfortable and spacious. Front desk clerk was friendly and professional. Arrived to early for check-in, hotel secured luggage until our return from the park. We will definitely stay again.

We travel to Arlington several times a year to watch the Texas Rangers and in the past we've always stayed somewhere closer to the ballpark. We book through hotels.com which shows all of our hotel options and this time we decided to try Wingate by Wyndham even though it was a little further away ~ because it was significantly cheaper. Wow, were we surprised! […] This is a fantastic hotel, our room was perfect, the service was great, parking was very good, everything was clean and our room smelled fresh. The only issue we had was with the plumbing. The first room toilet overflowed for no reason and therefore they moved us to a new room. On the last morning we were there, my wife was in the shower and that toilet overflowed for no reason. The hotel other than that was great!

Excellent! Everything I expected for the price I have paid!

We had a full day at Six Flags and were thankful to find the hotel within a mile of the park. The room was clean, nothing too fancy. Breakfast was great! A real bonus.

Room was nice and very clean, bathroom clean, breakfast was okay. The pool is tiny. When we where there, a group was BBQing and drinking beer around the pool, with beer cans everywhere you looked. It was so crowded we decided not to swim. Probably won't stay here again, as a pool is a major draw for us.

I was pleased with everything about the Wingate by Windam in Arlington. The complimentary breakfast was hearty and the selection was just right. The hotel had complimentary snacks and drinks during 'happy hour' from 6:00 to 7:00 pm on Tuesday and Wednesday. The staff was helpful. Hotel was extremely clean, very luxerous, had a great jacuzzi and happy hour for entire family. breakfast was very good. the trolley to six flags was an added plus and the restaurant next door was awesome. will certainly stay here again.

it was very clean and staff was friendly. location was perfect just minutes away from cowboys stadium and rangers ballpark. also lots of really good resturants just around the corner.the hotel has already printed directions to all the malls and attractions nearby. breakfast was also very nice. beds and pillows were verry comfortable!

We were staying here on business and it was very satisfactory. The bed was extremely comfortable and the staff was exceptional. Breakfast consisted of a wide variety of foods including hot selections. Good hotel and if you just need a room that is comfortable this is the place. Hotel is very clean the breakfast is not really good at all.

so easy off and on major highways. my girls and i were very comfortable there.

We found out when we checked into the Wingate that there was not a shuttle to the Cowboy Stadium on game days, which was a surprise. The hotel was fantastic. The rooms were clean, the service was terrific. We used the complimentary shuttle alot which saved us a ton of money. The location right by the stadium was great for the cowboys game and the shuttle to the train was great for stars and mavs games.
