The resort supplies sailboats, snorkeling gear, windsurfing equipment, pedal boats, and kayaks as well as water skis, banana boats, rods and reels for fishing off the beach, and one lighted tennis court. Independent operators on the beach offer personal watercraft and parasailing (surcharges).
The resort's partner hotel, Almond Beach Village Resort, features a nine-hole, par-three golf course. Tee times are available by reservation, and there is a US$5 per person charge, which covers green fees and rental of clubs and pool cart. Golf balls and tees are available for purchase at a pro shop.

"Topper Vacation"
1st time we did an All Inclusive vacation, and it was totally worth it. Staff was very friendly and associate more as friends than customers. Hats off to Elvis and his Square Cut at the beach bar and the Professor at Tommy's Bar. If i have to find a fault, its the whole hotel comes to a stop by 2am........... 24/7 will be perfect! .
Very good value and nice staff, but essentially a down market all inclusive resort which would be o.k. For some, but which most people attracted to the west coast of Barbados would hate.
We just returned from a 5 night stay at the resort. I do have to agree with a few prior reviews I had read about the resort being an older one and in need of some work and repair. Saying that we were pleased with hotel staff and their assistance with our last minute wedding...the coordinator was exceptional. Food was good, mixed drinks definately lacked […] flavour. If you are looking for a beach...don't stay here. Stay at the other Almond Beach Resort 15 minutes away. I am in my 40's and felt that this resort is for the much older vacationing couples. although we had a fabulous time all in all, despite the fact that there is virtually no beach, the ridiculous dress code and rather stuffy atmosphere were definite deal-breakers. While women were allowed to wear just about anything in all restaurants and bars, including barely covered bikinis, men were not allowed anywhere except beach and pool area […] unless they had a collared shirt, and after 6:30 long pants. Everyone at the hotel was very nice. Great view and great excursions (you MUST do the turtle feeding trip!). The breakfast was good, but the food the rest of the time was lacking, especially at the onsite-reservation only restaurant. The treatment by staff was impeccable..from the moment you entered the foyer you are warmly welcomed by the hostesses. Our purpose for going to the hotel was for a birthday retreat and it was definitely worth the time! The scenery was breathtaking, and ambiance refreshing. "Very Good!"
We only stayed one night, but we really enjoyed this resort. Number one improvement they couold make is the Bar! The Drinks really dont make you want to drink. This may be the plan as they are all included in the price (the wines were all good) I would have been glad to pay for good quality drinks... The room and views were awesome! Service perfect. "Was there15 years ago and it has aged and looks ru"
We got married at this hotel 15 years ago and it was the place to be, it is now looking very tired and in need of some TLC. The resort is in a great location and the staff are fantastic. The food was poor,none of the family touched the deserts after trying them twice.The main meals were ok, the BBQ night was very , very poor, it used to be a good steak […] and feast, now it's small minute steak and low quality.For the price of this resort, look somewhere else if you can....although I am slightly disapointed with the hotel, it still has the same feel it did all those years ago もっと読む
"Good value on the beach"
Overall, a very good experience. Food was excellent. Bed was very comfy. Beach/ocean view was nice to have. My particular room did not have a balcony (which I was expecting). Resort staff were very good. Friendly, helpful. Would recommend staying here to others.
