Nice location for our visit to Cornell. Certainly short of deluxe, but clean and quiet. Friendly folks at front desk were good with directions. Perhaps the breakfast bar was a little lame, but the coffee was better than average. Parking was easy.

I had meetings at Cornell. The Super 8 isn't the closest to campus, but once you are out of walking distance, Ithaca is so small it really doesn't matter. My stay was very comfortable. The staff was very pleasant on my arrival and departure. I plan to stay here on future trips.

This is not the best hotel in the area, but it is completely adequate, with friendly, accommodating staff and good service. Being in Ithaca on business and not being in the room all day, it was a comfortable place to come to at night. Great location for either Ithaca College or Cornell University. I'd probably rate this a 3-star hotel rather than 2: quiet, clean, comfortable. It's not upscale, but it's a good value. We're allergy sufferers, so reports of funky smells from some of the older, pricier hotels in the area scared me off of them.

I was only looking for a cheap motel, but the Super 8 Ithaca exceeded my expectations. For an inexpensive motel, it has an unusually comfortable feel to it and provides very good services, for the price. With wireless, a nice little breakfast, and a comfortable lobby, I feel that I got more than my money's worth.

We spent two nights to visit the Ithaca College campus. Would stay again and spend the extra saved money on something else. Small flat screen TV with several tables/chairs. This hotel Does Have a work-out room. Had no idea until checkout. Its a small room with several fairly new pieces of equipment - not bad. There is a Wegmans grocery store next door. You can eat there or buy food to put in the room frig. The minimal amount of odor that people complained about is fairly normal. I only sensed it in the halls - not a big deal. Even the very expensive hotels have problems. Free Cable TV and free WIFI. Location is very good for downtown, Ithaca College, or Cornell. Noise level varied. It is not sound-proof, but most places (expensive/cheap) are similar. Upstairs a little quieter because it is away from the parking lot. I would definitely go back. Exceeded my expectations.

The Super 8 motel was everything I expected-- simple, clean, safe, and within easy striking distance to everything I needed. For this trip, I was spending each day on campus at Cornell. It's great to have a Fridge. and Microwave in the rooms. You could use updated TV's. Over all I really like Super 8, as it is near a lot of things plus family, and is always clean. CLEAN is very important. Whenever I come home to Ithaca I always check with Super 8 first. All other Motels or Hotels come 2nd.

This hotel is nearly ideal for business stay. All the reviews helped me choose this particular Super 8. YES! A great choice. Ithaca itself is a rather nondescript town which has no bearing on the hotel. The hotel is clean and friendly and we found no problems w/ the food! And goodness! THe price was great!

I was very pleased and surprised at the condition and maintenance of this Motel. You get what you pay for.

We had a nice basic hotel room with mini fridge and microwave. Good condition and clean. We never heard any traffic noise or noise from the hall or adjacent rooms. The continental breakfast was fairly basic and a little crowded but had enough choices to satisfy us. The hotel is conveniently located and provides good value. The room was well appointed and clean. Overall, satisfactory.

Have stayed here several times for one night while passing thru Ithaca. Room and bath are clean. Basic room, no frills but good for money. Location near Wegmans and other stores. Safe.

Our party of 3 rooms prepaid our stay 3 months in advance and I found it odd that all of us were placed beside the stairwell which was quite noisy at times. This hotel is located near some great attractions like the science center and many state parks with great views. Our two boys ages 3 and 5 loved the water fall at taughannock and we spent most easily three to four hours at the science center. The hotel was priced right for the location and the rooms were nice. Our room had a refrigerator, microwave […] and in room a/c which was a nice surprise. Wetland is across the street for all your grocery needs. I was satisfied with the quality in comparison with the rates. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Driving the kids back after the Easter weekend, I needed a place to put my head down for the night before making the long trip back. I needed something clean, no fuss and economical. This served the purpose. It was the second time I stayed there and both times the experience was the same. I would stay their again.

I stayed for one night here, and I couldnt have been more pleased!! Everyone was sooooo courteous, and helpful in every way. I will be spending a lot of time in this area, so this will definitelly be my first choice--Ill be disappointed if there aree no vacancies when I come back!!

This was a great place to stay and close to where we wanted to go. The staff were both pleasant but knowledgeable about the area

A bit better than average for the area, OK for a night or 2. Friendly staff. Good location on rt 13 for Ithaca college, can walk to Wegmans. There's no golf course or tennis courts as noted in their listing

Booked a room based on hotel.com reviews, but had a bad experience. Building is old and smells musty. Room was not particularly clean and had no toilet paper, soap, or towels when we checked in. In-room alarm clock went off at midnight.
