"Okay for one night"

"Smelled funny"
I stayed at this hotel a year ago and was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness. This time it wasn't that the room looked dirty but there was a definite odor that reminded me of a dead animal. "Good except for hard bed."

"Passable for a budget stay."

Very clean. The beds were very firm, well at little hard, but I was too tired to care. Nice quiet location but a bit of a drive from Ames. For one night stay it was worth the value. The lady at the front desk was not the nicest person. The room was clean enough but the pillows are lumpy and flat so bring your own. The hallway in the non smoking section smelled like smoke but the room didn't smell. "It was a safe and clean place to stay."
I felt the hotel was safe and clean. Overall it was a nice place to stay. My only complaint was that they wanted the room available to clean 30 minutes before check out time.
