We stayed in a suite with two queen beds. The suite was spacious with plenty of room. The microwave and small refrigerator in the separate suite room was very convenient. We will stay here again.

We have a very comfortable stay in this hotel. The staff was helpful. The room was spacious and the beddings were clean and comfortable. We had a full breakfast too. Plus the price is worth everything we got.

The only issue we had with the hotel was that we booked a room with 2 beds. When we checked in the only rooms left were 1 bed and a sofa bed. It was okay but we would have preferred for our son to have a bed since we had reserved it. The staff was extremely nice and polite. The beds are very comfortable and the room was very user friendly. I judge a hotel by the quality of the beds and sheets and pillows. Great nights sleep!

The overall hotel itself was clean and comfortable. Maybe a little higher priced than some of the other locations in surrounding area...but having been to three other lower cost places in the past years was worth the extra $$. We had a nice stay, the beds were confortable and the location was great.

I would past up any other hotel to return to this location.

The young man who checked me in did not smile - was not a friendly welcome at all. The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable. The washcloth fan-folded, hanging by the bathroom sink was stiff and dirty. The hot breakfast was excellent. There were nail holes patched in several places on the walls that had not been painted.

Nice and roomy! Clean and quiet also.

I would stay here again. The staff was nice. From the front desk, to the cook who serve breakfast the next morning. I really enjoyed the breakfast, it was wonderful.

Dirty linen was left in the room from the previous guests. Hotel did not have any sheets or blankets for the pull out sofa in the suite area.

Breakfast could have had better offerings. Room was very spacious. Furnishings clean but sofa appeared well worn. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Nice and quiet the night we were there.

Staff was very courteous and room were nice for a pone-night stay. The TV's were very old and the picture was not clear. Rooms needed updating but they were clean. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding. It was a FULL breakfast.

This hotel was comfortable and nice!

Overall, we had a very nice experience at this hotel. The breakfast was a bonus! All the employees were extremely courteous and helpful. We really enjoyed the extra "sitting room" which made the suite very workable with 2 adults and 2 teenagers (girls!) in it.

Excellent choice for our overnight stay! Everything was top notch! The bed was so comfortable. The only thing I regret was not bringing my swimsuit! Had a water probelm under the sink, but was addresses by the staff.

The first day the maid skipped our room. We thought it was maybe bc we came in late the night before but we have 2 kids under 3 and we definately needed the maid! So we made sure that the front desk knew we needed the maid the following day (they were already gone that 1st day by the time we realized that we had been skipped). We ended up dumping our […] own trash in the lobby trashcan. Then, day 2: the maid comes but doesn't even vacume! My 18month old had just dumped an entire single-serving box of Fruit Loops on the ground. I picked up as many as I could but she was stepping on them while I was cleaning them up. I couldn't believe that the maid didn't vacume. Day 3: There was chocolate/caramel popcorn that we let the kids have some of and some of it ended up in one of the beds -- loads of sand in the other somehow. We left all the blankets on the floor and the chocolate/caramel was perfectly visible to the maid who cleaned our room but they just put the same blankets back on the bed and did not change the sheets. This hotel was very nice except for the maids. They would congregate around a room and gossip about who knows what. Will definitely stay here again. Continental breakfast offered more than most hotels.

Very convinience lcation staff were very helpful and the room was great, clean and comfortable

Room was comfortable and nice, only complaint about it was that the internet signal was intermittent. The breakfast lady had trouble keeping up with the crowd, no food or coffee for the most part. Very nice. Convenient. Staff is great, my wife realized she had left her glasses in the room after we had returned home. We called the desk and they assured us they would check the room and call back. They followed through and are mailing the glasses to her.

Very nice, comfortable hotel This is my second time to stay here, and will stay here again.

Everything was wonderful. Location was close to everything: A&M, shopping, and restaurants. The hotel serves a great breakfast. We didn't get the chance to try it with our schedule, but other guests said it was very good. The staff was courteous and helpful. Thumbs up and 5 stars to the Wyndham Hawthorne!

I stayed 5 nights at this hotel and found it comfortable & convienently located near everywhere we planned to go. The room was clean and the staff was friendly & helpful. The breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of foods. I would definitely stay here again!

Never got to stay there.

I had a very good stay at the hotel. Everything was fine except that the bathroom made noises at night.. It was almost like a dripping then a little noisy when others above showered. This is not a major issue. When I ask at breakfast by the desk clerk how my night was i shared this info and they offered to put me in another room... I declined. I only […] shared with them so they could investigate the sounds and maybe fix the noise in the future. Most likely this is a result of the room location and not a common problem. This would not affect my staying in the hotel again.. But i would request a room other than 221. Staff were very nice and polite, food was very good, location was great and I felt safe. My stay at the Hawthorne was great! The staff was extremly friendly and customer centered which is key in the service industry. I would definitely recommend the Hawthorne in College Station to others and I will be back! Be well.

The floors of this hotel are very loud. I could hear when the people above us were walking around. When they flushed their toilet, we got to enjoy a loud water hammer noise that woke us up at 6AM. The hotel looks very nice and is in a good location, but bring some ear plugs.

My only complaint would be that I paid for a King Bed and got either a Queen or a Double. Not a huge deal but I would prefer honesty up front. The front desk staff was extraordinarily nice and helpful. Check in was quick and efficient. I would stay again.

I FOUND THE HOTEL TO BE COMFORTABLE WITHOUT BEING OVER PRICED. THE STAFF WAS VERY HELPFULL. ALL AND ALL GREAT VALUE.

Had a great stay at the hotel. Fine staff and service. Will certainly come back to this hotel for our next visit. The breakfast was really good, and started my day off on a great note.

Convenient for our trip

As you all may know, B/CS is way overpriced compared to DFW and Houston. But if you must stay there, be prepared for some gouging, especially during TAMU events. Caught a great deal here though. Everything is in very good shape. They had a busy week because of it as all the neighboring hotels sat with empty rooms at twice the price. Go figure.

Our visit was short, but sweet. The beds were SUPER comfortable, and the living room furniture was great for TV watching. The bathroom was sparkling clean, but in need of some tile repair. The breakfast was great and the coffee hot. All in all, a great visit.
