場所がとても良かったです!! タイムズスクエア、セントラルパーク、ロックフェラーセンターどこも徒歩圏内!!駅にも近いです！ 一人旅だったのですがっミュージカル後遅くなって1人で歩いててもまったく問題もなく良かったです!! ただ部屋が狭い…スーツケース広げたら身動き取れない感じです…テーブルもないので部屋での食事もびみょ～な感じかも!! リッチは良いし部屋もキレイな方だと思うので、また利用したいです！

部屋が狭いと聞いていたのでどの程度かと思いましたが、日本の狭めのビジネスホテルくらい。スーツケースを広げる台もありますが、スーツケース2つは確かに広げられません。冷蔵庫もありませんし、歯ブラシと髭そりは付属していませんが、徒歩3分のところにドラッグストアがあるので特に困りませんでした。 ロケーションはタイムズスクエアまで徒歩10分で最高です。

地下鉄を利用するにも、歩くにもとても快適な立地条件で、1階には日本人シェフの和食レストランがあリ、気持ちも味覚もちょっと安心な環境でもありました。滞在したシングルルームもNot Badな感じで、近くのデリを利用すればちょっと楽しい空間でした。

観光するには場所は最高。有名チェーンホテルよりもコストパフォーマンスは良いです。ミュージカル劇場にも近く、レストランも多くて便利。 一階の日本食レストラン清水も美味しく、日本食が食べたくなったらかなりお勧めです。

タイムズスクエアからとても近くてすごくいい場所だと思います。部屋も清潔でよかったです。みんなが書いてるほど部屋は狭いと感じなかったです。部屋によって違うのでしょうか？スタッフはみんなよかったと思います。近くにスターバックス、マクドナルド、24時間営業のお店もあって何も不便はしませんでした。地下鉄もすぐ近くにあるので助かりました。またNYに行くときにはこのホテルを利用したいと思います。

ホテルの人々は皆フレンドリーでやさしかったです。 部屋は狭いが、モダンで綺麗。 インターネットが無料なのはよかったです。 立地は丁度ブロードウェイミュージカルなど観光地と一般の人達の区域との堺にあり、ニューヨークの多面性が感じられ面白かったです。

雰囲気のあるホテルです。部屋も適当な広さで、調度品もきれいです。 デュポンサークルから散歩気分でアクセスできるので、便利でした。

まず、冷蔵庫なし。歯ブラシなし。体重計なし（スーツケース）の重さが量れず、オーバーチャージ、された。

場所はわかりやすいですし、地下鉄駅もすぐ。ブロードウェイの劇場街も近いので、観劇後に徒歩でホテルまで安全に歩いて帰れます。私はコロンバスサークルもブライアントパークにも徒歩で十分行けました。 ただし、部屋は最上階の一番広い部屋を確保しましたが、それでも、ものすごーーーーーーーく狭いです。スーツケースはなんとか1個広げることはできますが、広げたら足の踏み場はありませんし、広げると洋服ダンスやバスルームや廊下への扉は開けられません。バスルームの洗面台は洗面ボールしか無いので、モノを置く場所はありません。アメニティはリンスインシャンプーとボディソープ、固形石鹸がついているのみです。 部屋で無線LANが使えますが、フロントでパスワードの確認が必要です。冷蔵庫やコーヒーメーカーはありません。 部屋の机 […] や椅子、ベッド、テレビなどどれをとっても古いです。 ホテルステイを楽しむのではなく、朝早くから出掛けて夜に寝るためだけに戻ってくるのなら「あり」だと思いますが、ちょっとでもホテルを楽しもう、快適に過ごそうと思うのなら、お勧めしません。 もっと読む

The room didn't have a refrigerator but the staff was nice and helpful (just ask for some ice when you want to chill something...) Withing walking distance to most places in Midtown, which was great.

部屋は狭く、部屋に冷蔵庫やポット無し、でも従業員の態度は良いし、ハウスキーピングもしっかり清潔にしているので、観光、劇場鑑賞、ショッピングに徹する人には場所も便利でおススメです。

従業員は概ねとても感じがよい。やや早目の12時ごろに到着したが、スムーズにチェックインできた。あてがわれた部屋はかなり狭く、特にベッドは身長175センチメートル以上の人であれば足が確実にはみ出すだろう。また、シャワーのみでバスタブはなかった。しかしバスルーム等は清潔に保たれており、アメニティもしっかりしていた。無線ＬＡＮもある（若干弱いが、さして支障はなかった）。ホテルの場所は地下鉄駅から極めて近く、周囲にレストラン・バー・コンビニ等多数あり、歩いてタイムズスクェア等にも行ける。周囲の治安もよいと思われた。値段の割に良いホテルと思われたので、次回ニューヨークを訪問するときには、また使用してもよいと思った。

ＪＦＫからのアクセスは、エアトレインのあと地下鉄のＥ系統で最寄りの駅まで乗り換え無しで行けるので、良いと思います。食事、買い物、観光ともに便利な場所にあると思います。 しかし、唯一難点を挙げるとすれば、部屋の狭さです。ベッドがシングルなのは構わないのですが、それ以外のスペースがほとんどありません。私はボストンバッグでしたから問題ありませんでしたが、大型のハードスーツケースだと開けるのに苦労すると思います。 また、洗面台がとてもとても狭かったです。シンクの幅、奥行きともにとても小さく、顔を洗おうとすると周りを水浸しにしてしまいます。 それでも「他の人にすすめる」としてるのは、これらが一時的な不都合だからです。「部屋が臭い」とか「周辺環境がうるさい」とかは継続的な不都合なので、我慢するにも限界が […] あると思いますが、今回の件はそうではないので。 受付の人たちは、皆親切で感じの良い人たちでした。 もっと読む

クィーンサイズベッド２つのデラックスルームに滞在しました。他の方のレビューから、部屋の狭さが心配でしたが、それほどには感じませんでした。スーツケースは大きなサイズ２つならなんとか広げられます。 部屋は非常にきれいです。 タイムズスクエアや５番街にも近く、セントラルパークにも歩いて行ける距離なので、観光には抜群の立地です。９th Aveにもレストランやデリも多いので、食事にも困りません。ただし、残念だったのは、部屋に冷蔵庫がないこと（夏場は辛い）と、部屋が少し寒かっこと。ベッドサイドテーブルがなかったことです。デリで購入した惣菜で食事をしたかったのですが、食事ができる大きさのテーブルや椅子（一脚はある）がなかったのが不便でした。しかし、コストパフォーマンスも良いので、また泊まりたいと思いました […] 。 もっと読む

良い点 立地条件が良い・WIFIが無量で使える・部屋に清潔感がある 悪い点 部屋が狭い・値段が高い・空気が乾燥しすぎ・エレベーターが１台しか無く扉が普通の部屋ドアーの様・非常通路の表示がない

昨晩まで４日間泊まらせていただきました。 フロントの男性もとても気さくで到着した際、とっても安心しました。 また、ホテルの場所は８ｓｔ５１ｓｔで ミッドタウンの中心まで徒歩５分 セントラルパークも徒歩８分程で到着します。 部屋ですが ２人部屋はとても清潔で女性でも問題ないと思います。 金庫もありますし 帰りもホテルの方にタクシーを呼んでもらい １台分が５５ドルでＪＦＫの出国手続場所まで行ってくれました。 是非また利用したいです。

Great location just off of 8th and 51stW. Very close to everything we wanted to see and visit. Hotel rooms are small but clean and do the trick. If you're planning on staying in the room often or have a ton of stuff you might want bigger rooms, but otherwise this is as good as you might expect from a hotel in this range. Other reviews said rooms are small. I thought it was about average. However there are virtually no amenities. Your heating is old radiators and cooling is a dorm style window air conditioner. The bed was a 1/4" peice of pressboard with a matress on top. The hotel just seems like something from the late 1800s that has had very minor upgrades. Comfortable beds.

It was a nice spot close to theaters, dining, MOMA, subway - pretty street and good basic room. We were upgraded to mini suite which was very comfortable.

Just got back from a week staying at the Washington Jefferson and we would happily return there. The room was tiny, even by New York standards, but it was clean and in good repair. I spent four nights at the Wshington Jefferson Hotel, and had a great stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is close to some excellent eateries on 9th Av. and an easy walk to Broadway, Central Park and MoMA, as well as many other attractions that are nearby. On my last night it was a bit noisy between 1 and 3am, but I would attribute that […] more to the lack of consideration of the people in the neighbouring room. The decor is dated, and about ready for some modernisation, but it's not unpleasant - and there's so much to do in NYC that time spent in one's room is likely to be minimal. I opted for the standard room - one size above petite - and would describe that as compact, and definitely wouldn't want anything smaller; however I don't know how much smaller a petite room is. My daughter and I have stayed here four Aprils in a row. The amount of free floor space in the two-bed rooms, but the room is clean and everything works. Room was a classic NY-tiny (which was fine) and the bathroom was new fixtures and clean, which was great. No temperature control in room, so was a little hot (April), had to sleep with window open; thankfully not too noisy. A very good value.

I only stayed in this hotel for 1night but i was very satisfied with the hotel accomodations. Thank you!!

At check-in we got a room that was the smallest hotel room I have ever seen. It was so tight that the bed only had a bed table on one side. The closet was really small, to be homest this room was not suited for two adults. On top of that the noise from the street was reall ybad, due to the air conditioin being mounted in the window with poor noise isolation […] as result. We got a new room the following day with two separate beds, this was a larger room with two seperate beds, a large closet and a larger bath room with a hot tub. Besides the hazze with the room the hotel was good, free wifi and good overall service! The surroundings are good, lot of good restaurants on 9th avenue! This hotel is small but very conveniently located near two subway stops, restaurants, delis, drug stores and walking distance from the Theater District, Times Square, Radio City Music Hall and Rockefeller Center. My only complaint is that the room was very small and there was hardly space to store clothing and other belongings.

Nice little hotel close to Time Square, friendly staff and always doing their best to help the visitor. Rooms were small, but all was there and every day cleaning and new towels were a great plus. Will be back soon!!!

I like to spend my NYC visits walking to the parks, squares and museums and the central location of WJ is the perfect starting point.

You cannot beat the location! This hotel is well maintained and clean. The staff are extremely helpful! Be warned however that the rooms are TINY--extremely difficult for 2 people to dress at the same time. Also, there are virtually no surfaces to place toiletries and things on and very little room for clothes. Still I would stay here again.

Hotel was very convenient, but the room was even tinier than I guessed after reading other reviews - like an office cubicle. Room was dusty, and the hotel overall needs a clean-up and refurbishment. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, which was a big plus.

Bathrooms very clean, room ok (rugs old), bed ok comfort, housekeeping staff is super nice, front desk peeps ok. I'm not sure why this hotel has gotten such high marks bc it's just ok. My room was very small, but, wasn't bad. Nothing to write home about but not terrible either. It was inexpensive and clean, and that was enough.

Modern decor, great location, right price for an overnight stay in heart of mid-town.

Location couldn't be better for shows etc. Rooms very comfortable. Warning -- if you book a petite it is REALLY petite. Like no desk. I upgraded to a slightly larger room with a desk to work at, and it was great.

This is a perfect hotel for spending a vacation near Broadway. We stayed in a standard room with a queen bed; it's small -- but hey, this is NYC. It's clean and comfortable, with a modern bathroom. When there was too much construction noise on the street outside our room, the front desk went out of its way to give us a better room. (the rooms on the […] backside are quieter). The service is top notch and staff is friendly. Something for you to know: if you want the heat turned on or turned off, inform the desk. If you need a/c, if there's not a unit in your room, they will bring you one. It was unseasonably warm while we were there, and the a/c worked great. The hotel wi-fi is free. Great location, fast check-in, nice room with pristine bathroom, great for a week in the city, great price for what you get, recommended.

This is my second stay at this hotel, and I choose it because I am in NY for meetings which was held at the Sheraton nearby on 7th Avenue. It is also near enough to Times Square and surrounding shops nearby have a good selection of restaurants and shopping.
