Rates were great. Location was superb. Staff was wonderful. Older hotel; needs improvement, but staff made you feel like we were the most important and were available to help, assist around the clock.

First, the positives: The staff was extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. The common areas and room generally were clean and well-maintained, and parking appeared sufficient and convenient to entrances. The neighborhood, just south of the Wake Forest campus and across the road from its athletic complex, is nice and offers several solid restaurant […] options. But the picture is incomplete. The bathroom was so small that two people could barely stand in it together unless one of them is in the shower. There was not enough hot water for showers on either night, and apparently this happens with regularity when the hotel is full. (There was ample hot water in the mornings, however.) The walls are thin enough that it was easy to hear casual conversations in the next room. The HVAC system in our room noisily started and stopped repeatedly at night, which sometimes interrupted sleep. The room in which breakfast was served was dingy, with a floor in need of repair. Finally, the breakfast itself was uninspiring enough that on the second morning, we opted for a Panera about 3 miles away. I'd stay there again only if I have assurance that the mechanical issues have been addressed, but it would not be my first option. もっと読む

The staff at this hotel is so nice and helpful, but bottomline the hotel is terrible. The restaurant offers 3 items on its dinner menu, no lunch, and a 'hot' breakfast from a microwave. The Spa, if you want to call it that, is nothing more than a low brow hair salon. The pool area is nice to look at, but if you want to swim- good luck! Every day of […] our stay, the pool was either too low on chlorine or had to be shocked. It was very maddening because our daugher loves to swim and she couldn't even get it. Staff was very helpful with diresctions and restaurant reccommendations.... the rooms are all decorated with various artist and authors..very nice...we had to change rooms beacause the first room smelled of smpke..only draw back was thate the room we got did not have a flatscreen tv like the first room. Sounds nice, but the room was gross. There was a door that connected to my room that wouldn't lock. The carpeting was coming off of the floor. Bed was not comfortable. TV connection very fuzzy. There are better hotels in the area for that kind of money.

This was my first time staying in the Sundance Hotel and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The hotel was clean and the room was very spacious. The complimentary breakfast was really good. Thank You, Joan

Very easy access to Wake Forest University, Colosseum, Baseball field...and Restaurant, too.

We were there to catch the Stanford-Wake Forest game, and the location of the hotel was great. Also, the room was clean, the staff (including bar staff) helpful, and the overall experience good. There are also a couple decent dining spots within easy walking distance of the hotel. Air conditioning did not work correctly. we could not adjust the temperature.

nice breakfast; friendly staff and decent facilities. They have some nice outdoor spaces and offer a little bit more than other hotels in their price range.
