For the money it was a great place, good front desk staff. Room was very clean and up to date. Would stay again ,close to museum and every thing needed.

I was pleasantly surprised, it was nice and comfortable. The only complaint was the highway that was near by

This was our second 2-day stay and we were pleased with the facility. The rooms are spacious, and the location is convenient for us.

Ok, half the price of my first choice. Motel was empty, but we were put in a room facing U.S. I-70. The sound of highway traffic filled the room and the motel sits at the base of an exit, so air/engine brake noise was horrible.

With the location right off the Freeway, one drives by a strip shopping mall on the way to the motel. It is next to a major movie theater. Located above the freeway, the pool and freeway side are noisy. Opposite side was quiet. As the A/C was off when we arrived the room, it smelled musty, and the bedlinens smelled of smoke. We were very pleased with the cleanliness of this hotel and pool area. My only complaint was that we had requested a ground floor room and none were available.

One of the survey questions was "would you recommend this hotel to others?" I had to say no. It is certainly not the worst hotel out there, but I definitely would recommend that a friend choose someplace else. First, the property was not well maintained at all. It was dirty outside and there were bags of trash in parking lot. I did not mention the […] trash to anyone because I saw a maintenance person walking around and assumed he would see it. The next morning, it was still there in the same place. The bedding was in terrible condition. The bedspread smelled terrible and the blanket was very rough. And I mean sandpaper rough. I'm no prima donna. I tend to stay in budget hotels when I travel and am used to not having top notch stuff, so when I tell you that the bed was miserable to sleep in, I really mean it. Also, I asked for a quiet room and they put me around back which is facing I-70! Talk about loud. The outside door did not shut tight, which contributed to the noise. On top of that, my drapes didn't cover my entire window so I had the lights from the cars to deal with. I hardly got any sleep at all. I'm no stranger to dust bunnies and I'm no clean freak, but this room was too much. I had to use a wet paper towel to get rid of some of it just so I could breathe. The carpet was very dusty too, with some visible debris. By the time I noticed the dirt, everything was unpacked and I just needed to get as much sleep as I could before getting back on the road so I just let it go. I figured it wouldn't do any good, as the two times I called the front desk to try and get directions somewhere, nobody answered the phone. As other hotels.com reviewers have mentioned, the internet was terrible. It kept going out. They refer to their wi-fi as "high speed" but I couldn't even watch a streaming video or talk to my brother on Skype for two minutes. The room was in excellent condition, only problem the beds weren't very comfortable, which seriosuly detracts from the stay. But who knows, it could have been just me.

I booked this hotel at the last minute. Because of location and cost, it won out over better reviewed options. The hotel is just worn, it is desperated need of renovations. However the room was as clean as possible and the staff was courteous and helpful. I wouldn't take my wfe, but I would stay if money was an issue.

Room was larger than expected and well kept. Staff was friendly and serviced my room quickly each day. I would stay here again.

Small hotel but with greater services than some other big name hotels. Keep it up.

The hotel was clean and well maintained. Has great access to restaurants and shopping, it's a great value.

Check in was very fast. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the water was hot; everything I needed for a one night stay. It was very convenient to the interstate as well. A definite deal for the price I paid.

This was an absolute nightmare. When we arrived, there were three men working in the lobby and no one would stop what they were doing to check us in. After a 5 to 10 min wait, they did check us in . Then the fun began. the reservations they had for us were all wrong. We were supposed to have a king size bed in a smoking room, along with 2 rooms that […] have 2 queen beds and one of those were to be non-smoking. They told me that is not the reservations that they had for us and what we would get would be 3 rooms all queen beds with 2 in each room. I said no. I said that I called and verified the information this morning and the guy at the desk said no I did not. Yes I did and I spoke to a woman. He continued to argue with me. We get to our room and the sink will not drain and we did not have an ashtray. He argued with me again over the ashtray that there is one in there. After an hour someone came to fix the sink and got a smart answer as to all you have to do is pull up on the plunger and it works. I did that and no it did not work. The piece that you push down came out of the sink in my hand and I handed it to him when he came in. Then he looked around and asked why we were using cups for an ashtray and I said that is because we do not have one. The light kept flickering on and off all night long. Everytime I moved or my daughter moved on the bed the light would go off. Then it would come back on. Then go back off if we moved again. We were also told that checkout time was 12:00 noon. At 11:03 they called the room and asked if we were staying another nite and I said no. She then said that checkout time was 11 am. I said they said that checkout was at 12 noon, when I checked on reservations earlier that morning. Ok. I will tell the maid the lady at the front desk said and her name is Marilyn. Upon check-in I noticed the TV in the lobby had no reception. I asked and was told the cable was being repaired and would be on soon. I went to the room and took a shower and was going to catch up on work on my laptop. No Wi-Fi!! I called front desk and was told in an (foriegn voice) Sorry no Wi-Fi, it is broken. I waited until 2 am and called and asked […] about the Cable TV and was told it would not be working until the next day. The sheets smelled like bleach. Small hotel but very very noisy. My power was out at my house that is why I was staying here. If I had known there was no TV or Wi-Fi I would have went somewhere else. I have stayed here quite a bit this year, and usually have good service, and a good basic room. One room I had earlier this year mildew smell. I believe it was due to a leaky air conditioner. I don't know if this has been corrected. It was on the 2nd floor in the back. They need to secure their wireless internet to prevent hacking. An upgrade to flat […] HD TV's would be great, and maybe a remodel. The pool is great, and so is the location right off the highway and walking distance to some nice restaurants. You get what you pay for, good surrounding area close to dining establishments and grocery stores. Room was clean. Hotel very close to insterstate, but surprisingly not too noisey. Overall a good stay for the three days.

Pretty much a standard, low-cost Days Inn. We stayed for 5 nights, and the first night we stayed in a room that directly faced the interstate. Traffic noise was very noticeable. Recommend if you want it a little bit quieter to ask for a room facing away from the interstate; we asked to switch rooms and was definitely quieter. This hotel has easy access to the freeway, restaurants and gas stations. The accomodations are excellent and the staff friendly. I would reccommend this Days Inn to anyone traveling the Dayton, Columbus area.

everthing was great.except the beds.they are very hard so to us they were iuncomfortable
