Now a day it isdifficult to find hotel allowing smoking in the room, and this is the one, but you have to accept "smell of smoking by the previous guests". Good for one night stay.

Great for the price

Repeat customer. Enjoy the Chili's nearby and the proximity to the Maine Mall. Especially like the great price.

The bed mattress was lumpy and sagged in the middle

Perfect location for our needs. Great breakfast, wonderful staff

We were very pleased with the clean rooms, though the carpet cleaner was quite strong, and the friendly desk clerk. We were in town to watch a ballgame, and needed a low cost place. It does have a pool, but it is on the small side. For the money, a great value and we will certainly stay here next time in Portland.

Located directly accross from The Maine Mall, this motel was very clean. The breakfast buffet is great! The price is perfect! We would definately stay again.

i have picked days inn now for my lastthree visits because of the staff and cleanliness the staff always have smiles and help whenever they can

I take my granddaughters there every year.We stay at the Day's Inn in Portland, Me. when we go to the Ice Show. It is close to everywhere we want to be. The Maine Mall is just across the street for all our shopping fun.

great value, clean, comfortable,good breakfast , great location. centrally located to everything including the mall. Swimming pool & hot tub too.

We stayed one night on our way to sunday river, the room was clean, towels clean, and the sheets where clean as well. no complaints we will stay here again when we are in the area

Excellent shower!! Felt like I got a massage before I went to sleep. No frills, but I wasn't looking for any. Excellent for the price. Great location, too. Not far from Old Port and the St. Patrick's Day shenanigans!! Staff could not have been more courteous. I'd definitely stay here again.

I stayed here because I had an early morning flight. My room was clean, a little old fashioned but everything worked. The location of the hotel is good with a restaurant in the parking lot and it's close to the airport. It's not fancy but it was safe and convenient.

We only stayed for 1 night and felt that the hotel should make some much needed updates. We had a 1 inch opening at the bottom of the door that allowed us to hear everything... Kept on waking-up due to the ice machine and other guests walking/talking in the hallway....Other than that, it is a good value... Close to the mail...

This place was really nice for a cheaper hotel, but it still seemed a little expensive for a basic room in a city without much going on.

The website was user friendly and the price and location of the room affordable and convinient, very close to many upscale restaurants and large shopping mall. The employees were very helpful and friendly.

Usally we always stat here. Great location and great price.Swimming pool & hot tub and free breakfast a plus. This time the breakfast was lousy.Juice was watered down. Coffee was bad.Food was free but not very good. The beds were uncomfortable. I'ts still a great location and good value for the money, and it was clean.

We stayed here once before in the main part of the building and enjoyed our stay and found that part of the hotel was at least a 3*, very clean etc. ... this time we were in the older part and were not impressed. Upon arriving on the 25th (Christmas Dday), we checked in to our room only to find that our pillow cases had smuges of blood on two of them […] ....yuck! Great hotel to stay at if you are shopping at the Maine Mall. Close to airport too. Clean, comfortable rooms. Friendly staff.

Okay, I was happy with the deal I got - last minute, as I made it into town. Very convenient location (places to eat & a mall w/ a cinema very close by), the girls at the desk were VERY helpful & friendly, and after a few really chilly days hiking, the indoor hot tub was a God-send.... HOWEVER... The room was absolutely FILTHY, UNCOMFORTABLE, & REVOLTING! […] These are strong words, I know - and I HATE to complain - but when I arrived in the room, a foul smelling sweat-stench mixed with cigarettes and spoiled-food made my eyes go watery. The beds, I noticed were closer to the floor than usual, which was odd, but when I lay down on it/them they were stiff and covered in plastic...but dressed w/ linens! I brought in my own linens, blankets and pillows and made a sufficient nest-like bed for my stay, just so not to be a pain by complaining... ....I KNOW! But I just hate causing waves or putting anyone out! Even though it's their JOB to assure the quality of the rooms they are offering - anyway, I was taking a bath on it... cutting my ‘petty’ losses - which seemed silly compared to the horrible living conditions in so much of the world... I simply believe I have NO ROOM to complain…….! Okay! ….THEN over the entire 2 days & nights I stayed, I kept passing 2 double-sized mattresses just sitting in the hallway outside of my room. On the last morning - on my way back from the complimentary breakfast (which was delightful each time) - I thought I had it figured out: the beds in the other rooms didn't look like mine, they were at normal height; and these 2 mattresses in the hall looked more like the comfortable kind I was used to seeing in a hotel. Those mattresses must be meant for MY room that just had box springs and a plastic covered cot on the floor! So… trying to help them out (cuz they OBVIOUSLY needed it) I drag one closer to my door & go back for the other one. My friend and I have stayed here 2 years in a row, and have been very happy both times. Chilis restaurant shares the parking lot, so you can walk there and back. Right across from the Maine Mall, and right off I-95 exit. MOST COMFORTABLE BEDS AND PILLOWS!!!

Hotel was clean and neat and well decorated in the common areas. Complimentary continental breakfast was better than most. Nice indoor pool. Room was okay but drafty.
