Everything was pleasant. only at check out time the lady at the front desk was not very pleasant like she was having a bad day. overall experience was great.

We emjoyed it will be back. how ever the mamager ther at fromt desl was very rude crabby . but over all everything wad grreat .. And wr will return.

Great location, walking distance to everything we needed to see. A very good value for the money. The motel was older but clean, it had a comfortable bed and good AC.The parking was free but we needed to stay a few more hours and they charged $10 extra.

I really enjoyed or stay. We had a great time and will be booking with you again. Thanks a bunch

We were happy with our stay. The room had a microwave, sm refrig, safe, ironing board and blow dryer and we did not expect to have these items available. That was very nice. THe pool are looked cleaned did not have any time to jump in!! if we did would've

I stayed at the Days Inn Riverwalk for four days while attending a conference in San Antonio. Location was great; five minute walk to the convention center and the Alamo and Riverwalk. No problem with parking. Check in was efficient. The cleanliness of the room was OK; not great but not bad either. Didn't replace the toiletries adequately. I did find […] what I think was a live bed bug on the blanket. I did report this to the housekeeping staff requesting a complete change of linens including the top blanket which was done without any problem. Bathroom was clean. Carpet was old but OK. Continental breakfast was very basic. The only thing that irked me a bit was my request for a late check out due to a time conflict when my conference ended and the manager seemed annoyed saying: "everyone seems to want a late check out today; I can give you a half hour, that's all". I took my family to this location because of the location and for the convenience. We enjoyed our stay here at the Days Inn, it wasnt extravagent, or fancy, infact it was very simple, but it served its purpose. We stayed here during spring break so I assume that this affected quick service and the cleanliness of the room and bathroom.

Convenient location and within walking distance to the Riverwalk and the Alamo (if you like to walk). The price is very reasonable to be close enough but you get what you pay for. The motel is old and needs refurbishment. My companion and I don't mind as long as it is reasonably clean and we can sleep and shower. Within walking distance to Riverwalk, Alamo, Mall, etc. and driving distance to AT&T Center & Expressway....no need for parking fees if you stay here...you can walk from hotel.

We stayed here while our kids were showing at the Stock Show. It was very convenient to the fair grounds and traffic was never an issue. The rooms were clean and sufficient for what we needed. Close to where I wanted to be, and I knew it would not be much more than a place to rest. Friendly staff. Terrible parking, got my truck dinged, loud streets outside, railroad horns all night long. Clean though, and for what we paid, worthwhile. Reasonable breakfast in the lobby, nothing to complain about. Very pleased with how accessible the Days Inn was to all of the attractions in the area. We initially chose this location because of going to the San Antonio rodeo, but was surprised how close it was to every thing else. Pleased Wisconsin travelers.

Easy to access Riverwalk and Mall. front office and breakfast were across the street which was a little inconvenient but rooms were good and price was great for the area. However the noise was loud all night. Alot of traffic and people walking around. For us with children and needing to get up at 6 for dance convention it was not good.

My boyfriend and I had a fine stay at this Days Inn. We were nervous about the hotel initially because we read some poor reviews about it before visiting. Excellent location...just off busy Houston Ave. 100 yds from back wall of Alamo compound. OK rooms & service. Friendly people. Inexpensive. Fairly miniimal breakfast, but OK for the price.

This hotel was a perfect location for the River Walk and other sights. The room was minimal and smelled bad. The breakfast was very limited but still a free breakfast.

If you are looking for a elite type hotel, then this one isn't for you. It is in a good location & walking distance from the Alamo, Riverwalk & mall area. Rooms are outdated, but hey, you get what you pay for.

I had previously read reviews of the Alamo Days Inn, and was a little skeptical of the condition of the hotel when I arrived. The front desk staff ranged from friendly to bitter, but were efficient. I did not expect this to be a great hotel. However, as I work in the travel industry, I do have certain expectations for all of my accommodations, regardless of their star rating, and my number one expectation is that my room AND bathroom will be spotlessly clean. It is unacceptable for even the most inexpensive lodgings to have mold all over the shower […] curtain and on the bathroom ceiling, a thick layer of dust in the toilet paper cubby, other guests' trash on the bedroom floor, and a dirty tub and bathroom floor. Unfortunately, that's what we got here. In addition, the bathroom door had to be slammed in order to latch, and the light over the bathroom sink only functioned half the time. I didn't bother complaining to the front desk because the staff barely even paid attention to what they were doing when checking in my party and the other guests around us. They didn't even attempt smiles or a polite demeanor, an attitude which is simply disappointing in a nationally-known hospitality chain. There are definitely nicer places to stay in the neighborhood, but probably for not as good value. Low rates for centrally located hotel with adequate accomodations produced great value.

My stay was awful. I had a room that opened directly to the parking lot. Not safe. The room was stuffy and the ac didn't work There was no water pressure. Terrible experience

...the room can use some fixups, especially the carpet and the door that we could see the outside light from the bottom of it (glad we were not staying in the North with all the draft coming from all four sides of it). The hotel was moderately comfortable with common room amenities. Security was visible. I felt like I was in a safe environment. It was inconvenient that I was in a completely separate building from the front desk....and I had to cross two streets to get there. Sheets and comforter were dirty/stained. Very musty smell. Shower tub dirty looking. Evening office clerk unhelpful with late checkout fee. She kept saying she didn't know how much it would be, that it just "depends". Could not plug phone charger in outlets because outlets were not snug and plug would fall out.

It was nothing fancy and we didn't expect it to be so but it was convenient to the start and finish line for the SA Rock & Roll race. Check it was quick and pleasant. Our only complaint was after running 13.1 miles and rushing back to shower before check out at Noon we arrived at 11:40 to find our keys disabled. When went to the office we were told […] VERY rudely "Check out is at 12" And our obvious response "Um...it's not noon yet? so can you let us back in to get our stuff?" Which she did, of course. My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The mnotel was close to The Alamo and surrounding sites which was really convenient for us. Thanks!

room was comfortable, in need of updating of decor and bathroom. It served the purpose and it was a good price.

good points - convenient location, cheap, very friendly staff, comfy bed. bad points - dirty carpet (had to wear my shoes in the room), some broken furniture, dark/dreary room. The room I stayed in could use a complete remodel.

I've stayed in better Days Inns before!

I stayed here for 3 nights. Even though there Isn't a whole lot to do In San Antonio, the location Is fantastic, literally 5 min walk down from the Alamo, 5 mins to Riverwalk and surrounding shops. Good clean cheap hotel. Recommended.
