Hotel location is ideal for exploring city centre attractions that are within walking distance. Hotel is clean and comfortable, staff is friendly and very accommodating. Brilliant for 3-star hotel. We did not purchase breakfast, so can't comment. There are patesserie, bars & cafes, restaurant within 5 min walking distance.

Good quality in a very good area. 5 min walking time from English Garden, 15 min walking time from Hofbräuhaus. All additional services, e.g., Internet are quite expensive.

Lovely hotel. Very close to city centre. Makes a perfect base to explore the city. Rooms are spacious and clean. Rooms were cleaned every day, even on Christmas day. The receptionists were very friendly and more than happy to help us with our queries. Continental style breakfast is 12 euros per head a day, offers a wide variety of food from boiled eggs […] to cold meats to cereals. They make good coffee too. There is no restaurant or a bar in the hotel, so you will have to hit the town for something to eat/drink after 10am. There were two down-sides though: there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms, which we found hard to cope without (maybe it's an English thing). However there was a tea/coffee machine in the reception, where we could all sit down together and have tea at a table. There were also biscuits and fruit next to the coffee machine for everyone to nibble on. Another bad things was that Wi-Fi Internet in the hotel was ridiculously expensive, someting like 30 euros a day. This is a 3 star hotel so if you dont raise your expectation levels through the roof, it is absolutely ideal for a city centre stay. Just around the corner from Lehal underground station and a ten to fifteen minute stroll from the main attractions of Marienplatz. Located in a quiet residential area, the hotel is literally round the corner from a couple […] of nice cafe type establishments in St Anna Platz, ideal for breakfast if you opt out of the hotel option. Also round the corner from the English Garden Park which is a great alternative walk to the City attractions. The room we had was not huge but certainly not pokey. A very comfortable split mattress bed, but if we were to complain about anything, it would be the pillow on the bed. Not sure what was going on with these, but they are effectively a bag of air feathers which offer no support or comfort at all even when folded over. Hotel owners, 'PLEASE' replace these pillows with something more effective, it really does matter. On the positive side, the rooms are warm and the extra door into the sleeping area seemed to keep noise levels down to a minimum, although we found it a quiet hotel anyway. Bathroom was clean and shower excellent although it is of the curtain variety which I tend to find a tad irritating! Sadly there are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room which may devastate the average Brit, but rooms were cleaned on a daily basis with fresh towels supplied. Overall for an upmarket city like Munich, I would thoroughly recommend this 3 star Hotel to anyone who does not mind a stroll into the City Centre, although the walk down Maximilianstrasse past all the famous fashion houses may leave you thinking you are a few million euros short with your holiday spends!! One final positive for this hotel, check out time was 12 noon. A bonus after a final night in the beer kellers. This hotel is clean and conveniently located. It's only about a ten minute walk to the Marianplatz and only about five from the English Garden. The room was well sized, especially for the price. Munich is an amazing city, and this hotel is an affordable and convenient way to visit the city.

After traveling in Europe you soon realize that a lift is a luxury and large rooms nearly never exist but this is the except the rooms were large and there was a small lift. Bei der Nachfrage beim Servicepersonals bezüglich des Frühstückes bekam ich eine falsche Aussage ) hatte es inklusive und das Servicepersonal sage es ist nicht so=> also Frühstück in Müchnen organisieren oder zu meines Erachtens etwas teurern Preisen (ausreichend aber für 12,50€ zu wenig Auswahl und dann […] nur abgepackte Wurst) im Hotel. Das Zimmer war im Grunde sauber und es ist auch täglich das Hauskeeping vorbei gekommen, es befanden sich Haare im Bad und auf dem Bett, diese sind aber nach Reklamation sofort entfernt worden. Das Hotel war super. Relativ nah am Stadtkern gelegen, sauber und die Zimmer waren auch in Ordnung. Die Matratzen waren etwas hart aber für eine bis zwei Nächte vollkommen ausreichend. Unser Zimmer war geräumig und hatte sogar noch einen großen Balkon. Insgesamt bin ich sehr zufrieden mit dem Golden Leaf Parkhotel
