Service was good, and friendly, however rooms were not up to my standard for cleanliness. We had to change rooms because our first room had a giant wad of hair smeared on the shower wall, so obviously, no one bothered to clean the shower...ewwww. The hotel is perfectly located for an Escondido trip. The Safari Park and the North County Mall are just minutes away. For dinner you are surrounded by fast food and sit down dinning restaurants. Only negative things were that my wife is afraid of spiders and found one of the wee creatures in our room. All was well after I made like a Great White Hunter […] and killed the “Huge” beast. Stayed there with a couple friends because of the proximity to the Stone Brewery. Check-in staff was pleasant and accommodating. The hot breakfast the following morning was also an excellent reason to stay there. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to someone who is just passing through for the night.

The hotel was easy to fine, right off the freeway, and conveniently located to several casual dining restaurants. We staying in a room with one King size bed, but it also had a fold out sofa bed. I was pleased that this hotel was located close to the freeway, and especially the quality of the eating establishments within walking distance. The hotel was clean, fairly quiet, and delivered good service.

We stood at the hotel for a tournament. Check in was 3:00 pm but we arrived at 11am and since both my rooms were available they allowed us to check in early which was great. The staff was very nice as they even printed out directions to the location of our tournament. The rooms were clean and the decor was very nice. We picked the hotel for convenience as we were only staying overnight. Check in was fast and they were able to accomodate a change request from a room next to the laundry to a 3rd floor much quieter room. The hotel is older but well kept up. It was a satisfactory stay for the money paid.

The room was clean enough even though the bed was horribly hard. We were only staying here for a night after a local beer festival. Everything was acceptable for the price you pay. That was until 4am when the up stairs neighbors decided it was a great time to have loud crazy sex. And then again at 6am when someone children went running through the […] halls yelling. And then one more time at 7 am with the couple upstairs again. The walls in this hotel are paper thin. If your looking for a quiet nights rest, this is not the place to be. Staff very corteous but hte hotel is in need of a re-do. No a/c in the public passageways. A/C in rooms older and not very efficent. :=((

24 hour fitness on E Valley Parkway, 10 minutes away.

This hotel is in a nice area, but is utterly awful. I, in perfect health, stayed in my room for one night and woke up coughing due to all the dust. There were ants all over the bathroom, my feet were blackened by the dirty carpet, and there were 30+ guys next door drinking, partying, and smoking all night. I do not recommend this at all.

Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel guests were noisy, running up & down the hallways until 12 midnight. Pool was unclean and disgusting. Breakfast was like the TJ bus had made the Comfort Inn its stop. Too many people and not enough food. Easy to get back on freeway & get to my next destination the next day. Probably won't stay here again.

VERY NICE LOCATION, HOWEVER STAFF ARE NOT FRIENDLY AND INFORMATIVE.

Great Staff they gave us recommendations for dinner and for local beaches that turned out to be spot on. hotel was centrally located with easy freeway access. Shoping and dining were very close.

I was staying here for a work related event and was very happy with this hotel. The pool and jacuzzi was warm and inviting. The room was clean and neat and the breakfast was really good. I stayed during a week that was very busy and the breakfast room was very busy. Having another toaster would have been nice. Also the staff are allowed to have breakfast […] there also which I commend, but it may be a good idea to have them come in during one of the less busy times. The Comfort Inn in Escondido was clean, located conveniently to the the freeway and the price was right.

Good location and a great value for the room!

I was plesantly surprised with my stay there.. The staff was helpful. There is a remote control for the AC and the staff at the front desk said that they would help us if we have any trouble. Very convenient location. All was excellent with the staff, room condition, etc. My only concern was the remote thermostat. Never did get a real comfortable setting but got it tolerable.

The hotel was pretty nice - large room - comfortable. I had a lead foot above me that stomped around the room for a few hours but must have checked out for the 2nd night which was quiet. I'd stay there again.

We chose this motel because we were spending time at the Wild Animal Park. The room was ok for the money. I had read reviews of this site and caught a couple of them that were critical of managing the rooms' temperatures. We enjoyed our stay here. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The location was great! Walking distance to several fast food places and one nice restaurant. Close to shops, stores and more restaurants. Right off the freeway and yet it was quiet. We would want to return here when next in the area. E & D

There was a remote control on the heater/air-condition unit that was not at all simple. It is the type of remote that is programable and very complicated to reset the time and date and temp control etc. I spent far too much time with it and ended up with the heater on full blast only to wake up sweating. Then the only way was to turn off the heater. […] In turn I woke up freezing. The jucuzzi heater was stuck on full blast hot! It was scalding when your foot touches the heater jets down below. We had such a wonderful stay at the Comfort Inn in Escondido. It is in a great location, right in the middle of everything. We had a Target accross the street and at least 5 fast food places surronding the hotel. There was resturants down the road and various kinds of shopping if you need something. The room was very comfortable with a couch,microwave […] and refrigerator in the room. We had a little balcony with a small table and 2 chairs. When my wife and I showed up, the person at the desk asked for my last name and right away new what my first name was, which told me they were expecting us. The staff was very polite and were willing to go out of their way to accommodate our needs. The breakfast was good and the room was what I expected for the money. I would return in the future.

This hotel is great for the location, just ok for about everything else. The elevator looked like it was going to fail at any time. The breakfast was pretty weak. With a slight overhaul, this could be a very good hotel.

This hotel is very conveniently located right off I-15 in Escondido. The room was very quiet and the bed was extremely comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

The afternoon and night staff were very helpful, not so much can be said for the girls in the morning. location is close to many stores and restaurants. About a 30 min drive from zoo & beach.

The hotel was old. The elevator was very small and marked up with scratches (intentional ones, not normal wear and tear). My daughter and I checked in a little early. I managed to lose my key cards before getting in the door. They kindly supplied more. This hotel is in a good location for accessing the freeway and there are several restaurants in walking distance. The one thing I did not like about the hotel was a musty smell when I first entered my room, but it only bothered me initially and not for the entire stay.
