Our stay at the Fairfield Inn was comfortable and convenient. The room was small but clean. The staff was friendly and polite. We could not get a room with a refrigerator, but we were offered use of the hotel's refrigerator. We had to ask for our bag quite often, and the staff was consistently cooperative and seemed happy to help. Our grandchildren […] swam in the pool despite the fact that they were not overnight guests, and again the staff was tolerant and friendly. The pool was heavily chlorinated and it irritated my eyes while watching the kids swim, so beware. The breakfast was simple but adequate. There was a nice touch of 24 hour offerings of fruit, beverages and cookies in the lobby, giving us a sense of being welcomed and at home. The morning after we returned home from Hudson, WI my husband discovered he had left his brief case and anthropology books in our room. I immediately phoned the motel, located the briefcase and the NEXT day it arrived at our door! What great service. Whole place smelled like cigarettes. The quality was at best a 2 start, not the 4.5 stated by hotels.com. Glad we only had to stay there one night.

Very clean and convenient, a nice breakfast. will use it again.

Hotel and room are clean and well maintained. Easy to get from the freeway. Good selectioin for breakfast.

Everything about the hotel was good except the breakfast. We got there at 9:15 and everything was pretty much gone...

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was prompt and helpful. Check-in was easy, even though we were under a tornado warning at the time, the staff performed well and told us where the "safe " area of the hotel were, and how we could get more weather information. It was a good value for the dollar overall.

We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting family over Thanksgiving. The staff was wonderful - cheerful and very helpful. We were the "Guest of the Day" which meant we got the continental breakfast delivered to our room, nice touch. The bed was very comfortable, although a king size would have been nicer. Overall it was a great stay for the price.

We stayed one night, arriving at 2AM. Check in was fast and efficient, we were in our room quickly. Lots of pillows on each bed which was very nice. Complaints: Small areas of mold on the shower tile, no refrigerator or micro. Good continental breakfast.
