Hotel was clean, breakfast was good. The beds were a little lumpy. They should evaluate all the beds and maybe purchase some new matresses.

Terrible

Good service, clean, and good breakfast. However, the noise from the freeway just outside the room was very, very disturbing.(Bed was not firm either, Ok for a single, but for two would not be comfortable.)

Disapointed. Perhaps the area accounts for the high room fee, but the room was to small for a king size bed. Refrigerator was not provided as requested. Although the room was not available before 3 pm, it would be nice to check in early. We did not require the room till 9 pm.

I have a dog and the reason I stayed was the fact it was a "pet friendly" hotel. From unfriendly desk attendant that checked me in, to the basement wing my room was it was an unpleasant experience. Also, the hotel is right on the freeway and empty, so you would think they would place the few guests they had on the side away from the freeway. The area […] around the hotel was sketchy and dismal. The hotel was old and the smell of bleach was overwhelming in the room. But maybe it was due to the pet friendly policy. We had our dog with us which was great that they allow it w/ a fee of $25 for entire stay, with free breakfast (not all hot). But you can't beat the distance to Solvang. We stayed here on our way up to Pebble Beach for Christmas and it was very convenient, very clean and comfortable and has a fabulous breakfast which is what we are looking for on a quick over night stay as we just want to get back on the road! We will be back for our next trip!

The hotel lobby was very nice and so was the staff. Free breakfast was great. Shower head in our show was ready to fall apart...housekeeping should have picked up on that when they cleaned the shower last. I would stay there again.

The place was neat and nice. It was close to the 101 highway. Breakfast was excellent. The only problem was the flushing of the toilet every 30 mins(a broken valve or smth like that ) I suppose through the night, They will probably have to fix that since it woke us up every time it did that...

Stayed here because it's close to Solvang, but effectively cheaper. Was surprised to see the aged decor but overall the stay was ok. Staff was nice. At one point the shower was out of hot water, I guess everyone was using it at the same time? Later on during the night the hot water was not an issue. Great for travel with pets. Great breakfast too!

The staff here are very friendly and try to meet your every need. The room was convenient and comfortable except for the air conditioner which, when on, blew a cold draft straight at my head while sleeping. newly renovated entrance and breakfast room are beautiful! Hotel is easy to find and very close to Solvang and Santa Inez. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I've stayed at all hotels in the Buellton area, and Í'll definitely stay here from now on!

The greatest location- right off the freeway- which is also its biggest downside- it was noisy (and I sleep like a rock). The hotel staff were excellent- they made restaraunt recommendations that couldn't be beat. Room is comfortable. Breakfast is good. Quality Inn is cheaper and more reasonable than other similar hotels. I went to this hotel with my family. We all are satisfied. I recommend this hotel.

Nice breakfast - wake up call went off 45 min early. no pool or jacuzzi...average nothing special

The service at this hotel was very friendly. We were welcomed warmly and helped promptly. The location was great for what we wanted to do -- exploring Solvang, Santa Ynez, etc. As far as the hotel itself goes, it is a bit worn down and could really use some refurbishing. I actually sprayed air freshener that I had brought with me. The bathroom floor wasn't very clean, either. None of the lamps would turn on at first, and we finally figured out that several of them weren't plugged in! We couldn't find a TV remote, either. Everything else was in working order, though, and the hotel felt safe and was fairly quiet. It just needs a major upgrade in some areas. The hotel's only redeeming feature is its location. It's an old hotel that is in bad need of maintenance. Our A/C never worked and two out of three nights the temps in the area where in the 90's. 'They have a good breakfast though.

Our on line reservation and check in was seamless. The room was fine and comfortable. The freeway noise is a negative but the A/C fan drowns that out. The location was close to where we needed and the surrounding area was nice. I would stay here again, albeit in a room a little farther from the Freeway.

Hi, my feedback is definetely positive. I have enjoyed staying at Quality Inn Buellton. Comfortable hotel, very discrete waiters, rooms very cleaned, no noise. Just one small spot: detergent for washing machine was not provided (it is not comfortable to buy washing machine detergent just for one time use).

The room was a little smaller than many other Quality Inns I have stayed in. There was noise from the freeway and the water pipes, but it didn't keep us awake. The breakfast was good and offered several healthy selections. All in all, a good hotel if all you want is a decent place to sleep.

Overall this motel was very nice. I ended up in a room under the reception area which was noisy from 7am which was when breakfast started overhead. That's the only complaint though. Otherwise, it was clean and comfortable and the staff was lovely.

The location was convenient and room rate was one of the lowest. However, the musty smell from the carpet was an immediate turn-off. Ad had said that there would be complimentary coffee in the lobby all the time. When we went to get some coffee, the lady at the reception counter said that she had been very busy and had no time to make fresh coffee. […] Semi rigs came for refueling at all hours of the night at a gas station just across the hotel and their idling noise was annoying. Bed and pillows were so-so for comfort. Although the complimentary breakfast exceeded our expectation (it included boiled eggs, sausages, bacon, "make it yourself" waffle in addition to juice, coffee/tea, bread/bagle), the sitting area was cramped and not enough chairs/tables to accomodate everyone during a busy period. もっと読む

We had a great night at quality inn . actually we didn't expect but it was great and satisfy. Especially free breakfast was goooooood.

Very small rooms that are in desperate need of updating, very noisy due to freeway traffic. Not a comfortable stay.

The hotel is right next to the freeway and there is obviously no kind of sound insulation!

The front desk person at check in seemed to be on the phone alot, however I could not tell if they were personal or work related calls. The evening person (same one was there at check out) was a bit rude & he had earphones on as he sat in front of his computer. He was not helpful with answering questions & when he did, he was very condescending. I received […] more help from another guest than the hotel employee. Arrived pretty late in the evening at this hotel. The front desk clerk didn't seem particularly interested or enthusiastic. Nonetheless we went to our room and found it clean and basic. The room was very small but clean which is soooo important. Breakfast was perfect (complimentary). Would definitely stay here again.
