Only complaint--if advertise a continental breakfast, then there should be an actual breakfast rather than a couple of stale bagels and lukewarm coffee. Breakfast was a disappointment when numerous similar priced accommodations do supply a decent continental fare

Room good for price and short stay. Breakfast almost non-existent. Do not plan on breakfast here. Room clean and spacious and worked well for our pets.

For the kind of hotel I needed for the night it was a perfect fit. It was clean, convenient to the interstate and cheap. The staff was friendly and helpful.

My mother and I had 2 seperate rooms. I slept wonderfully, my mother said the pillows were too hard for her. Also her room had coffee pot, mine did not.

This is a modest, clean hotel. Staff were friendly. The morning breakfast was minimal and the coffee was not acceptable. I would recommend it for a very short stay.

There was black mold on the ceiling and also blood on the sheets of the bed when the blankets were pulled back, when the office was notified, the staff laughed at me and thought it was funny. after being switched to a different room, we lost power at least 3 times and when the office was told about that, the girl at the desk informed me that it was […] not their problem that we had no heat and it was very cold that night that we stayed there. Great value for the price and no negative surprises.

We stayed here and it was so convenient, right off the highway...clean,lots of restaurants,we were on our way to Shipshewana and wanted a place to stay for the night..price was good and much cheaper than hotels in area around Shipshewana. Would stay here again...

The motel is easy to access from Route 80 but quiet since it is not too close to the highway and set back from the street. There is a large variety of restaurants nearby with Bob Evans and Da Vinci being the best. It is close to South Bend also. We would stay there again.

Hotel was fine. However, I asked for nonsmoking King room and was givena smoking room. Therefore all curtains bedding had some smoking odor. Rooms were clean. A/C worked but had to be real low to run right. Spent 8 hours at room it served its purpose. Rates more than double the normal rate. because of ND football. Seems steep for what you get.

Beds were hard like cardboard. Drain would not go down in the shower. Gross!

Clean, comfortable, large rooms. No elevatoor - outside staircases (covered).

We spent the night in the hotel. Everything was all right except for that we booked king size bed online and they didn't have it and gave us queen beds instead. Other than that room was clean etc.

Clean, close to highway and many restaurants etc. will definitely stay here again on my way through Indiana!

Inexpensive, clean and easy on-off Hwy. I will stay in this establishment again.

Overall, the room was acceptable. We had a few issues which included no coffee pot and no alarm clock. We did have quite a few live bugs, but never figured out what they were. I was pleasantly surprised.. The hotel is old, but clean and comfortable and for the low price, I'll stay there again. They are pet friendly which was essential to my needs.

Very nice budget hotel. Internet access worked great. Great location. Only thing that bothered me was the bad location of a coat rack that was installed on the wall next to one bed on the way to the bathroom.

Not a top flight motel, but the cost isn't either. Room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very helpful. It was a cheapoasis on a cross country trip.

We stayed here one night on our way to the Notre Dame campus. The website said 15 miles from the campus, so I didn't think it was too bad. Well, it took us more like 30-40 minutes to get there from South Bend. We'd already been driving for 5 hours, so we really wished we hadn't chosen this hotel. I've stayed here twice already and both stays were a pleasant one. Although the hotel is rated 1.5 stars, you will enjoy the rooms for the price you pay compared to other hotels whose prices are 2x but rooms are just as good. I recommend this hotel you will enjoy it if you just need a nice clean place to stay for a low price.

Room could have been a little cleaner and they forgot to turn sign on.

They were very understanding...My mother is 76 and got sick...And the sheets and blankets were soiled and the carpet was soiled ...and they understand...Thank You..I felt so bad.....

After a long day of driving this is not exactly where you want to lay your head to rest. The carpet was very dirty, dog hair (and possibly other dog mess)around bed and on bed cover. The hotel advertises a Free Continental Breakfast. A coffee pot and a stack of To-Go cups does not a continental breakfast make.

some fresh fruit would be nice. diabetic and no food for breakfast that was ok

Check in was really easy. All they asked for was my name because we had a reservation. We arrived around one thirty in the evening and had called to warn them. They were very nice about it. The room was very spacious and clean, probably my favorite so far in my trip across the country. The bed was slightly hard but it was alright to sleep in. I asked for an economical motel and got what I expected. Decent clean room. My son commented a couple days later at a more expensive hotel that the Econo Lodge had better wifi. The hotel advertises a breakfast. It was marginal. The shower was clean with a sufficient supply of hot water and good water pressure. The towels were sufficient and the office help was polite.
