Very clean and comfortable room with one of the best beds. Great night's rest for the New Year! Staff was most accomodating and very polite in providing information. Happily surprised to find the indoor pool was kept cleand but warm for the winter. In spite of the New Year Celeberation, the hotel guests behaved very well and was really surprised […] at the lack of any kind of noises in the hallway or lobby. Very peaceful. Felt the security of being in a very safe place. They had free mid-night snacks and fruits for us, which was very good after the party, when we returned. Overall a great place for the stay. This is the way to keep your customers coming back! Have rated this for the price paid for comparable luxury in the area hotel (that charge almost twice more for the same). So consider the price with the rating selected by me. Things like good breakfast, wifi, parking etc which are free here, are itself more than half of real room rents value taken […] from them. If you put a price tag to it, then this hotel room is dirt cheap. You have to add another fifty dollars to the room rent of other hotels that charges you for the same, even when room rents are higher. Let us now come back to this hotel. Great value with most comfortable and luxurious new beds. Cleaner rooms and bathrooms. They take real pride in cleaning. Fresh ironed out bed-sheets are my favorite. Very peaceful and quiet rest. Warm indoor pool water was enjoyable. Breakfast was fresh with waffles. Totally satisfied with the value and service received from the fine friendly staff of the new management. Just jump into its bed! Did not feel like getting up. Hotel.com really gave us this great deal at very low price tag. Luxury was made affordable for us. Indoor pool had water temp at 82F per thermometer under the water. Real good clean water. The money we saved was spent at the nice Italian restaurant next block. I do not know if they upgraded us to a suite or not, but we did not want to question! We have not seen such large regular rooms in local hotels. Very quiet peaceful and safe location. Avoided all the traffic of other busy roads. New owner seemed to really care for the place and guests. Had some after dinner snacks, fruits, juice available for us - at no charge. THAT was really surprising! Breakfast with fresh hot waffles and bagles etc was also good. They even kept this breakfast open till about 11 am, just while we were checking out. It was the best ever night rest in a long time in a hotel. The beds were luxurious upscale ones. The room was very large but kept very clean. The shining bathroom had double shower heads. The indoor pool was the another plus with its clean warm water. Big breakfast had the plus point of fresh hot waffles. It was much better than our expectations […] as per some of the reviews which really seemed a bit biased against the hotel. It seemed the just the opposite and one of our best experience in the area, as we have been coming here four to five times a year, but have stayed at different location. This location was suggested by a close friend who had come here in summer and said it was one of the least known good hotel in the area. We were lucky that we just found it to be true. It was a good hotel at very good price too. It is set a little inside from the main roads and hence not visible. But we liked the location, as it was very close to almost everything that we needed and it was withing walking distance of some of the great good restaurants too. The only reason to stay at this hotel is if you are working out of the BIG E and it is just across the street. Otherwise go elsewhere. Not a place you would like to enjoy a vacation. We were attending the Brimfield Antique Show and while the show was a big disappointment the hotel was not. Its not in the best section of town but the friendliness and cleanliness more than made up for this. There are a couple of strip malls nearby, a few fast food restaurants, a Savers Thrift Store, and we found it quite central to other restaurants, […] movie theater, box stores and a mall which are about a 5-10 minute drive away. The pool was under renovation but looks like it will be really nice and in a central courtyard accessible directly from first floor rooms when completed. Owner gave us complimentary lunch certificates for a Subway Sandwich shop and greeted us by name when he saw us and was always very friendly and accommodating. Room was simple but clean and fresh (no stale odors) and was well maintained by room staff. All in all, for the price and our needs it was perfect!!! Older reviews for this hotel indicated a lot of problems but the ownership is new and extensive renovations and a no-smoking policy have addressed lots of these issues. もっと読む

I stayed in a first floor room. The window did not lock, the toliet would like flush or tank refill on its own. I had to use the ice bucket to fill the toliet tank to flush it. The swimming pool was out-of-order and looked as if it has been thay way for some time. The only good thing was it was cheap and had plenty of hot water.

.The outside of the hotel is unappealing, kind of seedy looking. However, we were very pleasantly surprised by the interior. Our room was large, clean, and very comfortable. We were travelling with children, = so the fridge and microwave in our room saved us money. They do a continental breakfast-which was great-AND we were fortunate to have a room […] with sliding glass doors which opened up to the indoor pool, which was wonderful. Good value. Comfortable and clean accommodations. Only problem was that I was unable to obtain a good wireless internet connection unless I went and sat in the lobby. Desk clerk was unable to correct the situation.

The Regenecy seemed nice online, and the price was fair. When we arrived at the Regency we were unpleasently surprised. The hotel was in a run down neighborhood with weeds coming out of their parking lot, a window was broken, and there were holes in the chain link fence. Pretty much exactly what you'd expect for one of the cheapest rooms in the area - no frills, kind of run down, but clean and relatively comfortable.

There are rooms that face the pool, so the pool hours are limited to 9a-9pm. Therefore, we didn't get much chance to use the pool. However, the whole place was VERY clean and the pool was great. Just wish we had more time to use it. One thing, that I didn't expect, was the hotel does not have an elevator. Overall, good deal for the price.
