街の中心にありどこに行くにも便利です。部屋のインテリアも可愛く素敵でした。部屋にはスタバのドリップコーヒーもあるので部屋でゆっくりも出来ました。

立地は良かったです。ドライヤーはありましたが動かなかったです。 スタッフの対応は親切でした。朝はロビーで無料のコーヒーサービスがあって良かったです。 落ち着いた格式のあるホテルでした。

昔から知る有名なホテルなので楽しみにしていましたが、部屋の状態、その他施設の手入れがイマイチで、かの有名ホテルのイメージではなかったのが残念です。 でも、フロント始め、玄関先のポーターさんは非常に愛想が良く、車を預ける際も毎回とても気持ち良く対応してくださいました。その教育は素晴らしく、是非ホテル運営全般に役立ててください。名誉あるベンソンホテルのために。

Beautiful old hotel, elegant lobby, well-run, large rooms, urban location with close walking distance to everything of interest, a few rough edges to the neighborhood but safe. Excellent concierge. A great hotel for a vacation in downtown Portland.

The staff was great and helpful. The concierges were very friendly and went out of their way to recommend excellent restaurants (Portland now has a great foody scene) and other sites of interest. The hotel is of a classic style, which someone looking for a modern business-type setting will not appreciate but we loved.

A neighbourhood gem of Portland with a magnificent lobby and amenities. Very dog-friendly and overall was a great stay. Only nuance was the older windows which permit street sounds to carry into the room, even when closed. On a Friday night especially there was quite a raucous but nothing out of the ordinary you wouldn't expect in a major city.

Got a decent rate from Hotels.com, it has a great central location, can be a little noisy from the street when bars are getting out. I don't think they have good enough curtains to keep the room dark, otherwise it was great.

Stayed during annual Rose Festival. Hotel provided private seating for the parade. Very nice touch!

Overall we did enjoy the Benson, got a last minute deal through Hotel.com. It is an old hotel, but a classic one, reminds me of an old New York grandiose hotel. Older hotel seems due for remodel, kept in clean good condition though. Bed was comfortable. 315am there was loud thumping that went on 5+ min in room above us.. sounded like broom handle hitting against floor iver and over.

Tub/Shower needed maintenance to fix a very slow drain. Booked two room and got assigned two rooms two floors apart without the staff asking if I wanted them close to each other, we found out after they handed us the keys.
