The hotel was nice room rates were great, but it is in the ghetto!!! Stay 5 miles to the west at the other super 8.. The parking lot was full and active all day and night of gang bangers, drugs, and prostition!! Omg what a scary place and I'm from Dallas and use to seeing this

This hotel wasn't bad, stayed in better places. For the price, it was ok. I was in town for 2 nights, it served it's purpose. A place to get a good nights sleep. The only thing sucked was the limited parking. I would get there around 10pm each night; the place stayed packed.

I'm no stranger to cheap motel rooms, but this place crossed the line. The front desk clerk was extremely rude (almost aggressively mean), my non-smoking room smelled like a bar, and there was enough hair in the shower to make a small wig. Housekeeping began knocking on my door at 9:30am despite my "do not disturb" sign, and the front desk called around […] 10 to remind me that checkout was at 11. If you're looking for a truck stop, this is the place for you. I made the mistake of booking this place for me and my 3mo old son to stay on the way from Georgia to Texas. It seemed really nice and clean when we checked in. However, an hour into our stay things changed drastically. I don't know what was worse, the incoming fleet of rowdy men that surrounded […] our room outside as the evening came, drinking and cursing loudly into the wee hours of the morning. Or - It could've been the dead roach I found above the sink or the live one that greeted us in the bathroom by the toilet when I was about to give my son a bath. The bed sheets were full of hair and cigarette burn holes, so my son slept on layers of his blankets and I laid my clothes on the bed to sleep on. Which was a good thing, because it spared us (somewhat) of the mattress springs that were protruding from the mattress. Not that we got much sleep though, I left all of the lights on in the room, so we wouldn't invite more roaches. I could say a lot more, but needless to say, I was extremely disappointed. I guess I should've known better. This is definitely a case of getting what you pay for instead of a good deal on a great place to stay. Found Super 8 Monroe quite acceptable for my recent stay with other siblings to visit relatives. The location was convenient for our day travels to the inner city as well as the nearby town of Richwood. Desk staff reflected the southern kindness and hospitality I am previously familiar with on past trips to Monroe. Attendant was happpy to accomodate […] our early check-in request following a long overnight drive from Pennsylvania. There is no maintenance staff on duty after normal hours to address relative concerns, but desk attendants were receptive and helpful otherwise. Hotel is within walking distance to several fast food choices, gas station, pharmacy and other needs, and within 1/2 mile of access to Interstate 20. Pecanland Mall is one exit east of the hotel on I-20. Would definately consider this property for a future stay in this area. もっと読む

This hotel was selected by the church I preached at and I found it to be very comfortable and pleasent.

Super 8 Monroe was convenient to the places I wanted to visit. Close to the Mall and restaurants. Front desk staff was excellent. Wonderful stay and I will stay here on my next visit.

The hotel was fine, we stayed overnight on the way to somewhere else. For the price, everything was about what I expected. Room was clean, but smelled like cigarettes. Room was supposedly non-smoking, but whoever stayed before us most likely smoked in it. Front desk staff was friendly and breakfast items were readily available in the morning. from the beging to the end this hotel was wonderful and from now on when we visit monroe la this where me and my family will be staying. the ladies in house keeping for my room which was 202 was wonderful i would like to thank her for everything she was very nice thanks for everything soon yall soon

The bed was hard as a rock. The maids did not even bother to freshen the room as we were staying more than one night. They didn't check towels, straighten the bed, nothing. They had apparently not done a very good job from the previous guest either as some of the coffee ingredients packages were open. The refrigerator was not even on.
