I feel like I received a good value for what I paid. It was a standard, clean room. Parking was a little difficult during peak weekend hours, but I was pleased with everything else. Good value, Great location.

Right on the beach, and close to dining and shopping. Stayed the previous night next door at a "resort" and thought Econolodge was a better value and just as nice. Would definetly go back!

We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Compared to some of the newer hotels in the area, the price was right! Only items for improvement would be: 1. The housekeeping staff should wipe down the chairs on the balcony. I dislike having to use a white wash cloth. 2. Even though there's a good pool area, I feel the hotel should at least rake their beach […] area. Note that the parking spaces are pretty tight. They do not allow large vehicles. This motel was very clean and comfortable and the staff were very pleasant. For a motel right on the beach it was an excelent rate. The beach area for this motel is fairly small but you can walk further up the beach and enjoy.

Great pool, beach and atmosphere. Everything close for area. Room needs another garbage can, proper pots and dishes for cooking and eating if that is your plan.

Great hotel in beach with pool - especially for the money! One pro that is also a con was band/Caribbean music from next door- it was fun to hear, but lasted til like 1am which is not great thing for an early bird! Overall, though, I enjoyed it!

What a wonderful location on the beach! I loved it! The hotel room was really nice, the service was great! It had everything anyone would need including a pool, hottub, a view of the gulf and a deck to sun on. There was a pool and hot tub, beach access...but that's it. The hotel looked run down in the lobby area, definitely needs updating. The cleaner used in the rooms smelled like urine mixed with cleaning supplies, we had to sleep with the balcony window open just to air it out. No bar, no restaurant, no night life. The Econo Lodge stay was great !! The hotel next door was very disrespectful of all guests in the area including their own. Loud music played into the night and should have ended at a decent hour. We are very surprised it is allowed to continue that way. We will not ever stay again because of the music next door and will not reccommend friends or family […] to stay at the Econo Lodge because of it. All we really wanted was a place to rest from doing tourist things and it was that. One problem that we complained about was the room smell. With the doors closed, the room smelled like an old, dirty, musty, gym bag full of clothes and stinky shoes. We were lucky we could keep the balcony door open, & were only there for 2 nights.

Loved the location. Not much of a beach though. It's right beside Sheppards and that is a great place to eat and have drinks and go dancing!! Will def be back soon!!!!

Great place for the price. I loved the fact that it was on the beach which was perfect. Room was clean. We had a mini fridge and stove with appliances. Complimentary breakfast could have been a little better but it did justice. The pool was dirty due to everyone coming in from the beach. Very nice hotel for the money,it was very up beat & fun mainly for adults.........

Went at the end of July& had a great time,the location is amazing& the private beach is wonderful for privacy.The hotel is right next door to the large nightclub that is in Clearwater,that is great if your into loud music& dance parties til 3am.All the shops& restaurants are all within walking distance,the only draw back to our trip was on Saturday,there […] was a party all day called aquapalooza,and boats are allowed to dock right in front of the beach,there is loud music coming from all the boats,and the boaters did not appear to be very respectful of the water,at times I observed jet skis pulling into areas where kids were in the water playing(the jet skiers appeared nto be very intoxicated),also saw boaters throwing cigarette butts,bottles,beer caps&wrappers into water.Very sad because the Gulf of Mexico is so beautiful!!I will check next time before I go to see if this event is taking place.I will definitely be back next year with my family!!!! もっと読む

The hotel was clean and in walking distance to many resturants and shopping. The overall rating of staff was good. Most would smile and speak if spoken to. Negative thing - there was only one small elevator. Reasoning hotel was small. But would stay again when in area again.

the pool is very small and was dirty. The beach area is really the bay and was tiny and boats would pull up and anchor and there would be very little room to get in do most off the time we had to walk to the public beach. Also dont book thru any company call and book directly from hotel. We wanted a ocean front smoking room..We were told that all they […] had available was a nonsmoking city view room but they put what e wanted in special request. when we checked in asked for what we wanted out was available but we was told those rooms are never available thru where we booked. We stayed here for the second time this year and truly enjoyed our stay. The price per night versus the hotels on either side was so worth staying here. It was half the price Quality charged and less than half of Shephard's price per night! No, they do not have a bar/restaurant or a dining room, but you have great options like I said on either side […] of you. If you are going to spend all your time in the room, you probably will not care for the hotel; if you're going for a good time, you're there! It's all around you! I really enjoyed my stay very nice place and staff. My only complaint was the smell of the room when we got there but we realized it was the disinfectant that they used

This was a great hotel. Enjoyed the fact that it was on the beach. It had an amazing hot tub and the swimming pool was great. Service was awesome and very friendly.

The chaos caused by the bar , Sheppards' , next door made it impossible to relax and enjoy the quaint beach. The hotel smelled and especially in the stair well. I hate to think what might happen in there late at night with the ruckus from Sheppard's at 2 AM.

Had I know that the hotel right next door had a live band that played outdoors till 1am I would have booked else where. It would be nice to let people know about the area. Other than that, it was a nice place to stay at. Walking distance to the public beach, shopping & restaurants.
