The room we stayed in was absolutely wonderful. I wish we could have stayed longer. It was home away from we brought pillows and blankets tht we didnt need to use everything was soo clean. Right across the street from the crabtree mall very convenient. Wen we go back we plan to stay at the same hotel. Great experience!!!!!!!!!

The staff in the hotel were wonderful. Very helpful and thoughtful. The hotel itself was in bad shape. The whole place smelled sour as if it had water damage. The rear elevator worked but the ceiling cover was missing. Walls in the halls had loose paper/wall covering and even noticed holes in the walls in several places.

The hotel was nice. The room had a smell which got worse during the 4 days. I think I overpaid for the quality of the room.

Hotel is lovely, peo-ple on staff very friendly and helpful. Close to good shopping and restaurants. Enjoyed our stay very much.

The staff was friendly and exceedingly helpful with various shuttle rides.

Hotel has been around a long time and is crammed in an odd place, but has been remodeled and is convenient to Crabtree Mall. The parking lot is on bad shape and mostly behind the building so it was a bit creepy at night, but the staff were great and the pool was outside, which was nice in the 95 degree heat! Beds were a bit soft but ok.

Overall this hotel was average.. The room was clean and fairly comfortable, so no complaint there. There was a hint of a mildew smell however that told me there was a moisture problem, or something of the sort. Probably if the A/C were left running at a lower setting during the moist summer months, this would not be the case. The hotel was located near the Crabtree Valley mall and a lot of restaurants. There was an odor on floor six like there was a flood or something. In addition, none of the rooms had a fridge. Other than those minor issues, the hotel was great.

The hotel was right off the freeway and close to the airport. I was travelling alone with two small children and felt totally safe. It was nice and clean!

We stayed here while visiting my sister, and the entire floor, including our room had a very musty smell. The ceiling above the bathtub had black mold growing on it, and you can tell it had been saturated with water for some time. Our bathroom floor had a puddle of water on it when we came in. We took our children to the pool and it was filled with […] dead bugs. It appeared it had not been cleaned for a few days at the very least. At check in, I asked if there were any good local resteraunts that we should check out since we are travling from out of town, and the clerk responded with some arrogance that he is the wrong person considering he was from the midwest and doesn't enjoy the food in the south. The Holiday Inn Raleigh Crabtree was lovely from the decor of the room to the friendliness of the staff.

The most notable positive about my stay is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.

The location is great. When all of the higher quality hotels in the area were fully booked, I defaulted to the Holiday Inn due to location. The front desk staff was not that impressive or accommodating. I requested a King Size room and received two doubles. The hotel was not very full but they decided to renovate all of the King Rooms at one time and […] not update the reservation system to accommodate. They also had no suggestions or accommodations for the lack of King Rooms. The lobby is quite dated feeling, but the room was updated and quite nice for the price. The room was fine and front desk was helpful, but the restaurant took an hour to scramble an egg for our granddaughter's breakfast, and there were only a couple of occupied tables. The evening before, food service was fine and food was tasty.

Everything went well on our stay and the restaurant had a great breakfast and friendly staff. This is a very nice place. The only complaint is during check in I was informed that smoking rooms were not available due to remodeling. Other than that things were perfect.

We chose this hotel because they do allow dogs. We have an 8 lb (very clean) shih tzu and found these facilities quite undesirable. Although the room was relatively clean, the noise in the hallway made it impossible to sleep. There was also food left on a tray in front of a room for the 2 days we were there. Hotel was very high quality. It was quiet and well managed. Front desk was very hospitable and helpful. I wish I could hve stayed longer. There were no surprises.

Great hotel w/ an exercise room that is big enough to actually exercise in. I wish I would have known that I had to purchase breakfast in the hotel restaurant before I came down in the morning.

I was pleasantly surprised by this Holiday Inn. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The lobby area was nice. I found the Holiday Inn at Crabtree Valley a perfect place to stay while in Raleigh. Upon arrival, the front desk staff made me feel right at home, and went out of their way to make me comfortable during my six night stay. not bad, not bad at all

The hotel was convenient to my business event. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I would stay in this hotel again.

Everyone was very nice. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good. Service from our waitress wasen't that great. She forgot to bring out my sausage and also forgot somethingthat another couple, that wasen't sitting with us, was suppose to get. The other lady there, who was not a waitress, gladly got my item after i had waited 5 minutes for the […] waitress to come out. She was very nice. But this wasen't my first time staying here. Convienient location to shopping and dining.

I travel to the Crabtree area of Raleigh frequently to work with some nearby attorneys. I ususally stay at the LaQunita across the street because it is decent and quite inexpensive, however they were booked this time so I stayed at the Holiday Inn. Although generally more expensive than the LaQuinta, it is a good vlaue for the price. Great price for a 3 star, totally worth it. The mall nearby was very nice and the food court had many good options.

It was 1 block to the Crabtree Valley Mall. Great restaurants you could "walk" to if you wanted. Great location, very easy to get to. I would definitely stay there again!

Had to take a COLD SHOWER at 7 AM on a Thursday! It's an old, dumpy hotel that needs renovating and NO COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST. Skip the restaurant. There's a Denny's at Exit 7 3 miles down the interstate. Positives: Very nice staff and across the street from a great mall. There are nicer hotels in the area. We won't be back.

The desk help was very friendly and knowledgable.

Air conditioner made clunking sound throught the night every time it turned on and off. Did not get my wake up call at all. No compensation given for these problems.

We stayed at the hotel because I was having outpatient surgery at a nearby hospital, a few days later we stayed the night again for a follow up dr visit, the girl at the desk remembered me, and said that she had prayed for me that night. We stayed here for two nights. The room was great, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice bar and restaurant if you don't want to go out, but there are lots of good restaurants across the street at Crabtree Mall. TV reception could use some improvement.
