The hotel was conveniently located near a major highway. It was quiet, considering our room was right off the lobby. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. I liked that a continental breakfast was included.

This is a place to avoid!!! Smoking in non-smoking rooms, extremely poor customer service, grossly understaffed at night and overstaffed during the day. Located near a swamp, so the bugs were nasty, also.

Hotel staff very nice. No elevator-No wifi

A very nice hotel overall, but had some housekeeping issues with our room including a wet towel from the previous guests, dirty sheets on one bed, and the biggest spider I've ever seen in Indiana. The bed was firmer than I would have liked also. The desk clerk was very helpful trying to solve our little issues with the room. (Apparently those big black […] water spiders are everywhere in Terre Haute...) Otherwise, the room was very nice and the continental breakfast included the treat of fresh waffles. AC should be left on for our arrival. Room should be service every day. The service provide should not ask me if I want service.

We stayed at this Hotel in May of 2009. Very happy with it. Heard from the townies this was new because the old one burnt down. So Sunday 09-20-09 we had a chance to go back to Sullivan, In. So I booked the room over the internet. So when they give you a key card to get in (door is locked to keep out unwanted people) the lock was working. Came back […] in the evening hours, and the door was unlocked. So around 7:00 Dale calls down to the frount desk to report the door is not locking and the guy at the frount desk acted like he could care less. Dale said "that we expected the door to be locked and just thought we would let you know". That is when he hem hewed around saying the employees go out that door to go smoke but forget to take there key with them. Then he said "he would SEE what he could do". Which turned out to be nothing. When we left Monday the door still was not locked. We have nothing against smoking (Dale does it) but put a piece of wood or something to hold the door open while you are outside. If you are to have a little security than use it. But, we would stay again at the Sullivan, In Days Inn. Please keep up the good work and keeping it very clean. もっと読む

Personal business brought me and my family to this part of Indiana; we had some dealings in Indianapolis and in Green County for a couple of days. Strategically, Terre Haute would be the ideal place to stay, but after reviewing Hotels.Com for lodging, I found the hotels in my price range were given less than adequate Hotels.Com ratings and the best […] rated was more than I wanted to pay. So I settled on Sullivan, Indiana and the Days Inn there. It had a 100% rating and was exactly in the price range I wanted. Day 1 - Upon arrival that evening, I found that the Hotels.Com ratings were 100% dead on. The 3 year old hotel was spotless; my room was comfortable, quiet and clean. I was eagerly anticipating for the Hotel Guest Review Survey I knew I would be getting from Hotels.Com, so that I could tell the world about this great place. Day 2 - Breakfast was great! Hot food (waffles) were available and the juice machine was still "out of order"; however, instead of powdery OJ that one reviewer complained of, the guests were given a pitcher of fresh OJ concentrate (I presume), which tasted excellent! Later that morning, we left for our first appointment. I mentioned to the desk clerk that our room #119 is now available for housekeeping to enter as we were leaving for most of the afternoon. When we returned that evening, much to my dismay and disbelief, our beds were not made, nor were the towels left on the bathroom floor were removed nor replaced. I was livid about this. My daughter, wanting to calm me down, picked up the dirty linen and took it to the front desk and carried back fresh towels for us. My wife and I made the beds ourselves, because it was obvious that the Days Inn desk clerk wasn't going to do it. Then, to top it off, I called the front desk to leave a 5:30AM wake up call.
