シャングリラ ホテル ザ マリーナ (Shangri-La Hotel, The Marina)格安予約

子供２人と行きました。ケアンズで過ごすのは、船に乗って島で遊ぶのが良いと思われるのですが、ホテルの前が船乗り場なのでとても便利だと思われます。ホテルの室内は普通で海が見えるので良かったですが、夜のホテルのバーでのバンドが異常にうるさくて中々眠れなかったです。しかし、ホテルには日本人の女性の方が１日中交代でいたので、困ることが無くとても助かりました。また、マネージャヤーの男性の方が困っている事は無いかと連絡をくださり、軽い気持ちでいくつか話したところ全てを解決して下さり、自ら動いてくださりました。いろいろホテルに泊まりに行きましたが、あれほど気持ちの良い接客をして頂いたのは初めてかもしれません。滞在中は小さな事でも対応して頂けるようで、英語が苦手な方・お子様連れの方には心強いホテルだと思われま […] す。また行きたいと思いました。ホテルの皆様、有難うございました。お陰様で、楽しい思い出を作る事が出来ました。 もっと読む

マリーナの隣にあり便利です。ホテルの中二階の部屋に泊まりましたが、（疲れて寝てしまったので気にしませんでしたが）一階のレストラン（バー?)の音楽が結構聞こえてきます。

家族と5日間ケアンズに観光に行きました。 このホテルを利用するのは2回目なのですが、とにかくベッドの寝心地がよくて、夜間1回も起きることなく快適に眠れました☆ミ 滞在中は毎日出かけていたので、あまりホテルで過ごすことはなかったのですが、プールやビリヤード、卓球をするところもあり、1日くらいホテルでのんびり過ごしてみたかったです。 ただ、日本人のスタッフの方が一人しかいなかったので、カタコトでも英語がしゃべれないと待たなければならないようです。

皆様のレビューを参考に、ホライズンクラブルームを選びましたが、大正解でした。 　早朝着でしたが、アーリーアライバルラウンジで、仮眠やシャワーができ、お茶やコーヒーも戴けました。 　部屋の広さ・使いやすさ・清潔さ・アメニティーも満足！ 　何より良かったのは、ホライズンクラブラウンジです。 毎朝食、外から戻るとコーヒータイム、そして夕方は軽く飲んで（ビール＆シャンパン）つまみを食べてからレストランへ。お陰で、夕食代が大分お安くなりました～！ 　それから、ツアーデスクの女性達がとても親切で感じが好く、毎日寄っては色々相談し、お世話になりました。 他国のシャングリラでも、絶対ホライズン～にします!!!

部屋が広くくつろげます。また立地もよくどこに行くのも最適です。日本人スタッフもいるので安心でした。値段もそんなに高くもなく、綺麗で静か、スタッフの対応もよく言うことありません。

お部屋からのマリーナビューが素晴らしかった。ロケーションも抜群です。対応が早いサービスにも満足しました。レストランもたくさん入っており、味にもサービスにも満足しました。 付記するらならば、大型ホテルなのでフロントから部屋までの距離が遠い。ロビーもシャングリラとすれば簡素な方だと思います。

ロビーエリアは高級なホテルかなと思いましたが、そうではなく、内容的にはごく普通のホテルでした。（勿論モット他界部屋の場合は違うのかもしれませんが。）レセプションデスクは二人だけでの対応であるのには少し驚きましたが、さほど混雑することはありませんでした。スタッフの対応も良好でした。私はアメリカで学校を出ていますので英語は問題ないのですが、私たちが滞在した3日間では基本英語での対応のようです。エアーズロック（セイルズインザデザートホテル）では日本語での対応も常時あったようにみえました。部屋（マリーナデラックス）のひろさは問題ありませんでしたが、調度品は結構古いものです。ルームサービス（クリーニングやアメニティーグッズの補充等）の質は少なくとも担当したスタッフは忘れっぽいひとだと思います。三日間ず […] っとタオルなど、必ずなにか少しだけ不足していました。立地的には最高です。ホテルズコムでの予約で東京のビジネスホテル以下程度の料金で宿泊できたのでモンクは全くありません。お勧めします。 もっと読む

部屋に入るとちょっとクラシカルな感じで快適です。 しかし、全てが広く、フロントから部屋までが遠い。内部の配置が分りにくいのでホテル内で迷子になります。 エレベーターも部屋のキーを使用しないと使えないのでセキュリティはよいのですが、初めはとまどいました。 フロントの説明は英語で事務的で、エレベーターの使いかたは、宿泊者のオージーが丁寧におしえてくれまた。空港へのシャトルバスを頼むとその時間は一人だけとのことで、タクシーをすすめられましたが、手配してくれました。 3日間でしたが日本人スタッフがいない、全て英語対応でした。

ホテル前はマリーナで見晴らしもよく、部屋もシンプルですが高級感に溢れた萬疎せくのできるお部屋でした。 近くには生みに接した無料の市民プール、公園があり ﾘｿﾞｰﾄ気分を満喫させてくれました。 当日はイギリスのウィリアム王子も泊まっておられ 何度かお姿も拝見いたしました。

ホライズンクラブフロアは割高ですが止まる価値ありです。朝食はもちろんのころ、Ｄａｙ Ｔｉｍｅにはお茶（ポットサービスで多くの種類の紅茶、ハーブティー）、コーヒー、ジュースとペストリーや小さな焼き菓子が提供されます。17時から2時間は数種類のビール、シャンパン（スパークリングワイン）、白ワイン、赤ワインがボトルで提供され好きなだけ飲むことができます。おつまみ類も少しですが提供されます。私達はそれで夕食代わりになりました。その他部屋の景色はすばらしい、マリーナを見渡す景観は心がいやされます。お部屋も清潔、アメニティー類も充実。いうことなし、高いお金を出しても泊まる価値があります。

せっかくの海外旅行なのでと思い、ラスト宿泊をシャングリラに決めました。他のホテルと比較すると価格帯も高めですしね。 結論から申し上げると、少々期待外れ素敵なのは間違いないのですがコストパフォーマンスに優れているとはお世辞でも言えません。 ケアンズのシャングリラはシャングリラらしさを感じる事が出来ませんでした。

Very good..only complaint was there was no staff at breakfast to take us through to be seated and that then continued with no one serving us even when they were made aware that we were there, but did make sure to come and get us to sign for breakfast bill, so felt service was quite poor.

We visit cairns 2-3 times a year and stay some where different each time. (experience) from now on we will only stay at the shangri-la, it was such a Pleasant place to stay, the staff were warm and friendly and we felt like we were saying good bye to friends when we left. Stayed at over a dozen hotels in the last 3 months and this one was the worst in class. Very tired hotel, badly designed, Staff were friendly but that's about it Save your money - pitch a tent.

Great location but not up to the standard of other Shangri- La hotels. The bedrooms need modernising and the Horizon Club looks more like a cafe.I would rate this hotel no more than a 4 star hotel---certainly not 5 star.

We got very good rates with hotels.com, very clean rooms, quiet and convenient location, especially being located at the pier complex. I won't compare it to other shangrilla hotel with 5 star as its interior is old, but kept in good comdition.

While the hotel facilities are lovely and impeccably maintained, it is the wonderful staff who help any guests in their charge leave at the end of their stay with fond memories of many special pampered moments. We upgraded to a Horizon Club room on check-in for a modest fee per night. With that we were given a larger room with a bay view (spacious […] and lovely with a balcony). In addition the upgrade also included a buffet breakfast for two, and complimentary evening (5-7 pm) cocktails and hors d'oeuvres buffet. The Horizon rooms are located on the second floor. It includes a complimentary Business Centre to access the internet and print and fax documents, as well as the Horizon Club lounge. You more than get your money's worth with the upgrade and I highly recommend it. The hotel's location is ideal. Easy access to the marina where Great Barrier Reef tours depart from (200 meters) and a 5 minute walk to the downtown shopping area and restaurants. What a great hotel. Amenities are fantastic. The staff are very friendly and 'down-to-earth'. The location is beautiful with several cafes and restaurants 30 seconds away. A place to feel special. I enjoy my stay each time I visit.

Hotel is beautiful, staff from top to bottom and every where in between is prompt, polite and helpful. Wonderful service. Really enjoyed the Horizon Club, great value. Free wifi and printing, computer access, breakfast and evenign drinks and canapes included. Staff is very attentive to all guests. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Cairns!

Great staff and rooms

We had a very enjoyable stay! We had a lovely Harbour View and the staff were all very friendly! We would definitely stay here again!

It's a nice hotel that's right next to a shopping center. It's a bit of a walk from parts of the city though close enough to the Esplanade where all the restaurants are. Cairns is very backpacker heavy so the Shangri la stands as one of the few and best hotels in that area. An excellent hotel, super service and great location. Just wished we had been staying for longer than the one night.

We were incredibly happy and very spoilt during our stay at The Shangri- La in Cairns. We originally had one night booked but ended up staying two as the place is just wonderful. We booked the Horizon Club suite/room which was one of the largest hotel rooms we have ever stayed in (the bathroom was amazing), the room was very well appointed and the Marina view lovely. It was our anniversary so the hotel provided free of charge a bottle of sparkling white wine and chocolates on arrival, what a lovely surprise. Definitely go for the Horizon Club floor as the lounge has a great hot breakfast and a full bar (included) from 5pm to 7pm with snacks. Tip: if you have a car just use the valet as it works out cheaper than parking in the Marina carpark yourself. The hotel is right on the water (Marina) and is located a short walk from the Esplanade shops and markets, and is right near the boat wharves for tours- very convenient. We stayed in the Horizon Club Rooms, beautiful views over the Marina and Hinterland. The only issue we had was the first night we were in room 43, this is at the end of a very long corrdor and it was looking at the car park. They were fully booked as we arrived late on a flight, so they moved us the next day to room 19 for our remaining 3 nights. Great location! The hotel staff were very friendly from the day we arrived to check out time. The hotel room was very nice, plenty of room with a balcony. The hotel was within walking distance to the boat tour docks to the Great Barrier Reef. We had great weather and snorkeling was fantastic which we booked through the hotel concierge. The concierge […] also told us about a very reasonable flat rate charge to launder all of our essentials which wasn't posted in our hotel room. Would not recommend this hotel for a luxury getaway. No WOW factor that you get on arrival at other 4/5 star hotels. However exceptional service by Staff and cleanliness of rooms was very good.

A wonderful three day splurge here with my boyfriend after two weeks of hostels. The staff were beyond accommodating, the location was literally next door to the Esplanade with the lagoon and nice restaurants and the reef fleet terminal, and the rooms were incredibly comfortable. We were very happy here!

Convenient location at the Marina, away from the noise of downtown Cairns but an easy walk. Staff was great, bed was perfect/comfortable.

Location superb . The hotel could do with the corridors to the bedrooms being vacuumed everyday.They were never hoovered the four nights we stayed there. The corridors could also do with a lick of paint. The decor is also of substandard of the shangri la chain of hotels.

Excellent location,warm and friendly staff,tourist desk advice is good, sure will be back next time.

This hotel is in a great location for Great Barrier reef tours (reef fleet terminal is right next door), walking along the coastline board walk and enjoying the downtown shopping and entertainment district. Staying this close to town and using hotel pickup for some of our tours allowed us to not rent a car for the week we were there. We cannot fault the Shangri-la in any way, that is why we have stayed there twice and will do again next time we go to Cairns. It is beautiful in every respect - position, view, service, cleanliness etc etc.
