I was excited about staying here based on my past experience and pictures of hotel. We were dissapointed to say the least.. Mainly the hotel is dirty and understaffed. was in town for the ncaa first four checking in was so so due to not very large parking lot once check in very nice public lot and convenient to hotel guest services was very courteous and helpful in getting around town only thing i found negative about stay was the prices a little steep for my liking for breakfast and drinks will stay here again

Was a nice hotel, in the middle of renovations and the chips in the tub and sink showed why... Should be extremely nice once all of the work is done.

Be sure to call ahead to have your car brought up, took about 1 hr to get ours from the front desk.

Where to begin.....the hotel is under construction so I hope they improve a lot. The desk staff was friendly but the staff in the restaurant was forgetful and enjoyed standing around and talking instead of waiting on tables. I was a guest on the 6th floor and the windows in the hallway and room were so dirty you couldn’t really see out of them. The […] carpet in the room needed replaced but at the very least re stretched as it has 3 heaved up sections. The closet had two sliding doors, one of which was off the track and I couldn’t open. The bathroom is one of the smallest I have ever seen in a hotel. The toilet handle had to be shaken to stop it from running and the tub drain was so slow to drain that the tub filled up above my ankles while taking a shower. I was dressed and walking out the door and the tub was still draining. The first towel I grabbed had a tear in it as I dried off tore even more. I went to get ice on the 6th floor only to find that the ice machine had no ice at all, I went to the 5th floor, same thing, I then went to the 4th floor…..needless to say I had to go to the 3rd floor to get ice. The television was awful! The cable or the tv kept messing up putting lines through the program. I would not stay at this hotel again. I plan on visiting Dayton for the next 2 weekends and will stay at another hotel. There are only two positive things I can say about the hotel and that is the bed was comfortable and the sheets and towels did smell very clean. もっと読む

The hotel is getting a makeover that it needed sooner. Nice staff . Air quit in lobby with temp at 97! It will be great when it's done.

The hotel was a little old and not in the best shape. The rooms were nice and comfortable. Hotel itself was in a good location by a number of good resturants.

The hotel pictures where in far better shape than the actual hotel. When I told about my disappointed, the hotel employee told me that they are undergoing reconstruction and so my next stay in the hotel would be better if I come back in a year. No sorry, no free lunch, no voucher of any kind, just a smirk. Also the house keeping was poor. This hotel is directly connected to a Greyhound Bus Station, and all of the usual traffic associated with that. I could not tell that any recent renovations had been made. It was definitely not the type of hotel that I would ever stay in, nor would I expect from this brand.

Hotel is in area of downtown Dayton that does not look or feel very safe. I'm glad here was valet parking. The hallways were not air conditioned and the whole place needs updating. The bed cover had a dirty stain on it. Service was OK and the resaurant was very nice on the top floor with nice views.

Room had two queen beds. Everything was ok. Only cleaning person wouldn't supply enough towels for 4 people and everyday had to call guest desk for exta towels. They furnished towels immediately. One problem is that curtain from windows continuously covers the Air Conditioning unit. Hotel should provide a hook on the side to hold curtain in place so […] cold air can be distributed evenly. Very comfortable, well maintained, centrally located hotel. Restaurant turned out impeccable food and had a nice view over Dayton. Made breakfast a nice start to the day.

The Crowne Plaza Hotel in downtown Dayton Ohio was a great value. Great location anf the staff were more than willing to do anything we needed. The room was beautiful and VERY CLEAN. If you ever need to stay in the Downtown Dayton area I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel was very nice. The only problem I had was the construction just outside it, which made it even more difficult to find the entrance. I circled around the block a few times to find the right way in. Under normal circumstances, I'm sure it seems like a more convenient location.

This is a great hotel for visiting the downtown dayton oregon district for the night life. It is within walking distance.

I booked this hotel for it's proximity to the Oregon District and that was the ONLY perk to this hotel. The pictures online are a misrepresentation of the actual hotel. Upon walking into the hotel the first two levels smelled of a baby's soiled diaper that has been sitting in a trash can for days. The only parking was in a parking garage down the street, […] which was "supposed" to be free but we were charged $6 dollars per night. Upon arriving to our room we were upset to find that our toilet didn't work. Upon contacting the front desk and waiting ten minutes and having two women who had to #1 it, one of my aunts fixed the toilet on her own. The rooms were tiny and were comparable to a Motel 6.
