Basic hotel but higher than basic price. Beds were nice. Hotel needs updating.

was disappointed with motel overall. Beds and pillows were not very comfortable and there was a horrible smell in the hallways the first night.

We usually stay at this motel when we visit Duluth but this time we were quite disappointed. There was a terrible smell in the hallways the night we arrived and it even lingered in our room. It was a bit better the next night. The bed was also not very comfortable, lumpy. The pillows were flat and too.

Because I booked my hotel roon through Hotels.com...It automatically took the $$ out of my account...and once I got there.. there was no pool ( which online in the website looks as though there is one) and the "oversized whirlpool as it turns out was CLOSED this past weekend..So my kids dint even get to enjoy that luxury. Good value for the price! Friendly staff. The breakfast is all carbs....not much protein!

Nice hotel,very clean but the bathroom was bigger than the sleeping area and the shower stall was as large as the "new" queen size bed,which by the way was so uncomfortable that I do not really know how to describe it except to say that my butt and feet were out of the covers all night,and I am by no means what you would call a large person at 5ft 9in […] and 180 lbs.I will not book this hotel again until I know for certain the beds are bigger and equiped with a pillow top mattress. もっと読む

Room was good. Staff was pleasant. Free breakfast was good, as with most hotels offering free breakfast. Convenience for restaurants and shopping was second to none.

I am continually disappointed at the state of hotel beds. This one was great.......what a treat!

We were unsure of where to book in Duluth, but we're SO happy we stayed here. It was across the street from Miller Hill Mall, and we could easily walk there. It was close to the big outlet stores too, and a quick walk to many restaraunts. The staff was super friendly, and I enjoyed the continental breakfast. Hotel very dated. All we could smell in our room and as you entered the building was the smell of cigerate smoke. It stunk!!!!

The room was way too small for 1 couple. More suited to a single. It was a non smoking room but had an old smoke odour to it.

The hotel was clean, staff was friendly and it was close to many places to eat.

The hotel was clean, the staff friendly, the snacks appreciated. My single complaint was that the room was a bit warm for my tastes--which run to preferring very cold--so I had to sleep with the window open (this is November in northern MN mind you) just to get a comfortable temp in the room.

We had a very nice stay. When we checked in they had popcorn you could take to your room. Then the desk clerk told us at 8pm he would have chocolate chip cookies and chips and salsa out. The kids really liked that. The room was nice. I liked that we had 4 pillows on each bed. I would be happy to stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay in Duluth and this motel was great: remodeled, clean, good price, and a good location, and the provided snack times where a neat added bonus! We recommend and would stay there again.

Everything was good but wasn't happy that I did not receive any Wyndam points as I booked through hotel.com and pre-paid - big bummer

The hotel is on a hill across the street from a mall, shopping center and several restaurants. We had a king suite. The room was huge. The only drawback we found was that there was no elevator and we were on the second floor. That's not a big problem if you don't mind the walk. Albeit a short stay. I found the accomodations and mini breakfast to be very satisfying for a reasonable price.

I have no complaints, really. It was an affordable room on the road, with continental breakfast. No closet (just a rack in the room), small tub. The place was clean but the rooms were very outdated. And even though it was a non-smoking room, I woke up the next morning smelling like an ashtray. Not pleasant. I think my neighbors were smoking all night […] and that seeped into my room, OR, someone had been smoking in the room prior to me staying there. In any case, it's a no frills place on the way to somewhere. If you just need a place to crash that's safe, clean and cheap (minus smoke smell), stay here. Otherwise, look for better digs in Duluth proper and spend more $. もっと読む

When we checked into our hotel, we had used Hotels.com. When we got to the hotel, we did not get the room that I had reserved at all. The gal at the front desk was nice about it but they would not help us out. The room was very small & we found the bed to be very uncomfortable, along with the pillows. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at the Days Inn of Duluth. The room was comfortable with all the ammenities that were supposed to be there. The hotel staff was mindful of the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door. The continental breakfast was good, hot waffles was a great treat. I was surprised that they also offered popcorn and chips & salsa […] each evening. The location was very convenient. It was very easy to navigate to all the sites we went to see. Excited to visit the port city of Duluth, I examined many of the hotels the city has to offer. Determined to have both location, comfort, and ease of use, The Days Inn met my desires and exceeded my expectations. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful. The cleaning staff was dilligent and made certain that my room was cleaned well and with care. We check in real late after travelling all day, the desk clerk was understanding. Good location, walking distance to get a meal.

The room was clean and comfortable. There were many restaurants nearby.

Clean room, friendly staff, free munchies, comfortable pillows, and finally a hotel with some water pressure!! Enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

The walls are poorly insulated and we could hear everything going on in the room next to us. As well the noise from outside (after the bar on a Saturday night) was extremely loud. 3 times in one night I was woken out of a dead sleep. I would NEVER stay there again.

My stay at Days Inn in Duluth was very convenient in location and the fact that I did not have to wait at all to check in as everything was done when I made my reservation via Hotels.com The hotel was across the street from the Mall and easily accessible from the main road. I would recommend this hotel and stay here in future visits.

We thought our room was to small it could be larger if I get a room that small again I will demand a larger one

Great price, no frills like we wanted. New furnishings, spotless, comfortable, even had a safe! Easy access to a large mall and restaurants.

The hotel is situated in a good location if you want to be close to amenities and shopping centres; however, I went in a large group and the guy that checked us in was rude to us and lacked very much in customer service. I would never stay here again nor would I recommend this hotel to someone else.
