"Nice clean hotel - but no hot water"
I booked a room for Oct 20th stay. The hotel room itself was nice and clean. Hotel staff courteous, but when my family went to shower in the morning the water was not even room temperature. It was border line cold, in fact. Nothing makes you appreciate hot showers when you can't have one. We went to tell the front desk and they seemed less than concerned. Stayed at this modern hotel right off the highway in Martinsburg for one night. We chose this hotel because it was one of the few in the area that would allow you to bring a pet. "Great value for the money ! You won't be disapointed."
My stay was for a reunion with an old friend. This was my first time in the area and I went in there without knowing what was ahead when I arrived. The hotel was very clean and modern. It took me about 30 seconds to check in. All my paperwork was prepared and waiting for my arrival. The room was spotless, odorless and very quiet. The in room coffee […] and complimentary toiletries and daily paper were plentiful. The large flat screen TV was an added bonus as was the in room safe. The bathroom was very clean and standard in size. The lobby was attractive with a small seating area with a flat screen TV and a gas fireplace operating as you enter the lobby. I did not eat at the hotel restaurants, but they looked clean and well maintained. NO complaints or flaws with my stay. The staff were all friendly and greeted me whenever they passed, that's something that you don't see much of anymore. This hotel was also near the Martinsburg Mall, and quite a bit of shopping and restaurants. Convenience was also a plus, right off of exit 13 on I-81.
