見た感じは古き良きホテルという感じでしたが、クラシカルな雰囲気でとても快適でした。 いつも大手のチェーンホテルに宿泊していますが、アメニティーやサービスはこちらのホテルのほうがはるかに快適で、食事もおいしかったです。

部屋は日本のホテルと比べても広くはないですが、落ち着いたいい雰囲気です。ドアマンも気軽に声をかけてくれますし、出かける時に市内の情報を得るのに助かりました。セルフパーキングがないため、VALET Parking ($29/日) を利用するか、川側のビルのセルフパーキングを利用する必要があります。 最上階の 10階は屋上に空調設備があるためか、常に低い振動があるように感じました。10階の部屋は避けた方がいいかも知れません。

途中から家内が来たので、一旦、チェックアウトをしてチェックインするような予約をしました。（2つの予約）部屋は綺麗で、雰囲気が良く、広さもありきもちいいい。（景色はよくないが、街中なので気にしてもしょうがない。）何より、従業員がよく教育されている。（部屋を替えたた際に忘れた延長コードは、結局出てこなかったけれども。）レストランも良い。

ビジネスで5泊しました。スタッフの親切かつ的確な対応は素晴らしかったです。部屋の設備やアメニティは痒い所に手が届く充実ぶりで、フレンチプレスのコーヒーを飲みながら無料でネットが使えたりと、ビジネスユースには最高です。部屋の清掃も丁寧にしてくれます。宿泊客へのライブラリサービスも訪れる価値ありです。周辺のカフェやレストランは徒歩圏内です。このホテルに泊まれて、ポートランドの滞在がとても快適になりました。

ダウンタウンの中心部にあり、MAX利用にも便利。NHKが受信できることや、しっかりしたスリッパが そなえられていたのもありがたい。部屋の調度が上質。値段は高め。

ＭＡＸの液が３ブロックで、とても便利な場所です。 ホテルは毎日夕方水と氷を用意してくれてて、これはとても嬉しいことでした。 何かと気が聞いていたのですが、毎日バキュームをかけてくれたらもっと快適だと思います。 レストランは、味は別として、サービスが行き届いて無いのが、とても残念でした。 でも場所を考えると、最高だったので、ヒルトンよりまたこちらを選ぶと思います。

A classic in downtown Portland, but with all the up to date amenities. The room was very nicely laid out and appointed, even though it was of modest size. We listened to jazz in the lounge, and enjoyed free wine tasting in the hotel's library of nearly 3000 books, each of which was written by a former guest and most of which were signed. The only negatives had to do with how long it took to get served in the lounge and the restaurant, but I believe these were just momentary glitches. The Heathman was a great pick for me as I attended an event at the Snitzer...right next door. All the staff was great, going the extra mile to answer all my questions. The bed was great...hard, but not too hard...cozy. Everything was clean and neat.

I've stayed at the Heathman multiple times, and find it to be an exceptional boutique hotel. The rooms, though smaller in size, have wonderful details such as comfortable chairs, excellent coffee you can prepare in a French press, and extremely good beds you can select from a menu. My only caution would be to allow extra time for valet car retrieval at times that are likely to be busy for their guests. They were unable to keep their 5-10 minute commitment one Saturday morning when several guests all needed to be across town for the same meeting. As a frequent hotel guest (50-75 nights/year at hotels, mostly 4+ stars), I offer the following feedback: great beds, good downtown location and nice evening ambience in the lounge. Would have expected to be believed (or that hotel would know their own offers), or that I would have received a credit for a room upgrade due to the hassle and time it took me to prove that our rate included parking. Got the credit for the parking, but unfortunately this soured the experience so service gets a lower rating. . We got such a great deal through Expedia that we were a bit concern that the quality of our stay would not be up to high standard but we were so wrong. The best part of the stay was meeting the hotel librarian. She hosts a wine tasting for hotel guests. The library showcases books written only by authors who have stayed at the hotel. It was truly the highlight of the trip to meet her and learn more about this unusual feature of the hotel. Plus the books are available for loan to hotel guests.
