Breakfast was disgusting. Low quality fruits. Dried out pastries and there was never enough food set out.

Very basic hotel. No amenities.Pool closed and dirty. No workout room.

Everything was great.

Customer servise and rooms where wonderful. The location of the hotel is not in a good part of town but very close to the college.

I reserved and paid for a smoking room on the ground level. My husband is 90, I am 80, both of us have problems lifting and carrying. We arrived to find there were no smoking rooms on the first floor. So she gave us a nonsmoking room on the first floor. When we located it, there was no parking and it was some way off the street down a hallway. She explained […] we could park in the Denny's Restauant parking lot across the street. There was no way we could carry our necessary luggage that distance. I complained and she did find us another room with parking close-by, but not a smoking room. It's exactly what you'd expect for a cheap La Quinta. It's nothing special and just a place to sleep. The surrounding area isn't very nice, but that's about the case with all of Waco. The room itself was clean, and well maintained. Nothing was lavish or luxurious, of course.

just make sure you are not by the ice machine - it is very noisy all night long. Clean rooms and friendly staff

It was very nice.

I got what I paid for (and expected); an adequate hotel very close to where I wanted to be (close to Baylor) at a cheap price. Neighborhood around is very rough, hotel was a bit worn, and breakfast was poor. I would only stay one night here, anymore and you should consider a better hotel.

Staff was very nice and friendly. Beds were comfy and room was clean except for the questionable bathroom. Shower looked like it hadn't been scrubbed in awhile and the sink didn't drain well. Except for the bath area, I was very pleased with these accomodations

The hotel is a short walk from Baylor's campus. The hotel does come in two sections, which is less convenient for breakfast and such.

A very nice hotel, but maid service did not clean our room while we were gone. When we came back late afternoon, we were taking a nap when they knocked on the door. A little too late then. Everything else was great.

I had two rooms reserved and when checking in asked to have connecting rooms. The first desk clerk stated that's not going to happen tonight due to another group that was also checking in. After a few minutes another (older man) did some rearranging and was able to get connecting rooms for us. We loved the convenience of the hotel and the fact that it was within walking distance to Baylor University was a huge benefit. We had a crisis situation and needed copies of music really quick. Chris at the front desk was an absolute Angel and assisted us in our time of need...AMAZING!!

For the money, it is a good value. The staff was friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel does not have bells and whistles but the rooms are clean and right next to Baylor and Denny's.

I clarified my preference for smoking room upon check in, was given keys and settled into room. After realizing that there were no ash trays , I called front desk to request one, and was told we had to pack up and move rooms. When I went to iron my pants, iron left huge rust stain on pant leg, which I was told they would launder but would take up to […] 3 hours. We were denied extra shampoo and forced to split a travel size amongst 4 showers. Shower head was broken and sprayed more out that side than down at you and all showers were cold. Both chairs were broken and recliner full of garbage and condom wrapper. I was a little disappointed that the hotel was more like a motel. It was clean but very outdated and the air unit did not work properly. I have stayed at many La Quinta Inns and have never had any complaints. Will definetly be more careful next time but will still stay with this hotel chain again just a newer one.

Plenty of restuarants nearby including a Denny's sharing the same parking lot. We had dinner at a tex-mex restuarant a few miles south named Chuy's. They have a security guard roaming the parking lots, so the place feels safe.

Enjoyed our stay. Rooms were great & air conditioner was great, Very clean rooms, & very relaxing & peaceful.

Easy check-in, easy check-out. Very clean and the surrounding area was very well taken care of as well. Really liked the location in regards to Baylor University and also the ease to get in and out of.

This hotel is highly recommended, it is really comfortable to stay with reasonble price.

Probably would not stay here again. We asked for extra towels & blankets, but never rec. them. Also, the a/c unit in our room was SO loud & making horrible noises that it kept me up all night. The only plus side was that we were close to everything we needed & where we needed to go.

It looks like a dump from the outside and lobby smelled bad, but the room was great and clean. The pool could of been shocked. The people in charge were very nice and helpful.

I got to my room and settled in. Within a few hours, the man in the next room was screaming and cursing at the top of his lungs. I called the front office and the noise quieted down for a while. Around 10:30 p.m. the screaming started again, this time with a man and a woman. I called the front office again and they told me they would move me. I was […] asleep when this started. I had to pack my stuff, go to the front office, and get a key to a room across the street. The room across the street was not as nice as the one I had and it was next to a club where they were making almost as much noise as the screaming people, plus it was closer to the road and there was more noise from that. this hotel is on the edge of the Baylor campus, very convenient, you can walk to campus and no need for a car, near the Common Grounds coffee shop. This is a no frills motel, but very friendly and helpful staff. Also extremely easy to access from I 35. Note: Make SURE you ask for a room facing AWAY from I 35!!

I was very pleased with this hotel for the money. There is only one thing I would request on my next stay and that would be for a room on the back side. My room faced I-35 and noise interrupted my sleep. But that is something they can't control. Denny's was located right by it, a short trek across the parking lot.

-Water puddle in front stairs going up to room was the first bad sign -Beds were very small -hair in shower drain -No internet -Front desk not helpful and rude -too finish a bad night the alarm clock went off 7:10

At Check in we were told that there was not a first floor available. However my family did not see alot of cars parked, nor was this a busy time for college or other holiday travels. The rooms you enter from the outside of the building,( like a motel.) and there are two seperate locations for the same La Quinta property which is seperated by a drive […] way (road). very fast trip but everithing ok

The hotel looked more like a motel from the outside, but our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable. We usually take our own pillows because hotel pillows are so flat, but we were pleasantly surprised that the pillows were great. The only complaint would be that there was a lot of road noise, but not so much that it kept us awake.

After being assigned another room because the first room was dirty and those beds were not made....we were given another bed. The traffic near the hotel was horribly noisy....It was hard to sleep.

The room was pretty clean and the bed was comfortable. The main discomfort with the room was the traffic noise from I-35. It literally rattled the room! If you had a room facing the other side, it probably wouldn't be so bad.

It is a older hotel but still has been kept up.
