The bed in the first room was dirty, so I asked for another room. The bed and second room were clean, but found out rather late that the wiring in the room was bad. Don't know what was wrong, but the outlet next to the desk was defective, so that when anything was plugged into it, the plug fell out. We were quite disappointed. I chose this motel based on my experience at the Days Inn in Forrest City ,AR. It appeared convenient but was not. We did not get the downstairs room as requested (bad knees and back). No cable TV and the only person on duty was the room clerk.

pretty easy to get to, but next to a sams club warehouse, a bit of noise late into the night. they were out of raisin bran at the breakfast, the only thing i really wanted, but no great loss. good place to sleep. plenty of hot water.

The motel was clean and easy to reach from the highway. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was basic - cereal, danish and bagels.

The front desk clerk was very helpful in getting me a room with hot tub in it after my reservation for regular non-smoking room was not available. However, the hot tub/jacuzzi in my room had not been cleaned well and there were several hairs remaining in it which ruined the idea of a relaxing soak.

We requested a non-smoking room. First room we got to almost made us gag from cigarette stench. They moved us to another, and it smelled of smoking too. We didn't feel like moving again but could only stand one night and cancelled our second night. Would like to request refund of second night, but not sure if they will because it was pre-paid.

I enjoyed stating in the Days Inn and will stay again, i received good friendly service.

Hotel is average for a short stay. Freeway noise is very loud near the front of the hotel. Also can hear the deliveries being made to Sam's club next door. Hotel is old with recent updates to the bathroom vanity and newer model flat screens. Overall its decent.

This is an older motel but its condition is very good. The area was quite and seemed safe. Good location right off of IH 20 East.

Unfortunately, this is the worst hotel where I ever stayed! The first room where I checked in was musty mildew and stuffy smelling. It actually smelled so bad that I had to request another room at 1:30 a.m.! The other room was supposed to be a non-smoking room. However, it smelled like smoke. Stayed just one night on our way home. The front desk staff was very courteous and professional. The room was dated but clean, and took a long time to cool off as the A/C was turned off on arrival. Be aware of nighttime construction on I-20 that can be heard from the room.

The Monroe Days Inn is a clean, affordable, and comfortable hotel for an overnight stay. When we are "just passing through" we don't really want to spend a lot of money on a "fancier" hotel/suite, and basically just need a clean room/bed to crash in. This hotel meets that need. Not so good. Hotel was below expectations. Room and pillows provided were really bad and the taps were not functioning properly. I do note recommend this hotel to any one. As a matter of fact this is the same with another Days Inn I stayed near Niagara falls. Looks like it is the problem with establishment standards.

I stay at many hotels around the country. This hotel was one of the better 3 star hotels that I have stayed. Granted, the immensities are located on the outside, other than that the room was clean and it actually had a HDTV. I would recommend it for anyone passing through.

the only problem i had at this hotel as well as a few others the housekeeping staff is trying to clean the room before you can check out as if they were trying to get home early or something.

I reserved a room here because of both the low price and the convenience of location( right on I-20). I simply needed an easy overnight stop over on my way to somewhere else. I arrived at 11pm at night and when I checked in the clerk told me that I had to take a "smoking" room because there were no "non-smoking" rooms left available. I argued with the […] clerk that the reason I reserved a room ahead of time was specifically so that I would get a "non-smoking" room!! She claimed that hotels.com does NOT specify smoking or non-smoking when they notify her, so it was NOT HER FAULT. She was adamant that nothing else was available, so i took the key, went up to check out the room and discovered the room had NO POWER!! NO lights, no AC, nothing!! I went back down to the clerk, told her the situation and told her i planned to write a scathing review on hotels.com and low and behold she discovered she did indeed have a non-smoking room available with a king-bed. What a scam!!! So i took the room, it was not horrible, but not very clean. Honestly, I searched everywhere because i was so afraid it might have bed-bugs. In addition to all of the above, there were some pretty unsavory looking characters lurking around the walkways, so i bolted the door and put a chair under the door knob as an extra precaution. The hotel was easily accessible and was located in a central part of Monroe. However, the hotel itself was not in very good condition. The room was neat and clean and the service people were very polite. The disappointing part was the swimming pool. As a family we were expecting something larger than a bathtub. The room was nice and large and very clean. Monroe is a nice town with great restaurants and a nice place to stop for travelers driving through.

Walls are very thin & you can hear doors shutting and people talking outside. Finally had to call the front desk at 12:30am to complain about the party animals in the next room. Toilet was very unstable, making me wonder if it was going to fall over (and I am not a big person). Didn't even bother with breakfast. Will not stay here again.

Comfortable hotel and very conveniently located between the Airport and shopping area.

rooms really could use a real good cleanning. could not pick-up the internet.
