ホテルの部屋は十分に広く、とても快適に過ごすことができました。また、歩いてホワイトハウスまで行ける点、歩いて食事を取れるレストランやカフェがあり、小さな子供のいる家族にとってたいへん便利な立地条件と思います。

申し分のない立地にあるホテルです。ホワイトハウスやワシントンモニュメントに近く、頑張れば、色々なミュージアムにも徒歩で行けてしまします。スタッフもとても親切で、色々と案内して頂きました。

クラブケーキはもし食べにいけないならここのルームオーダーにあるので食べると良い。まだ脂っこくなく美味しい料理の一つだ。ただメニューにある金額の1.5倍は請求されるので注意が必要。私自身は動物性脂肪の多い料理にうんざりし、一日一回はCVSで牛乳とフリスキーを食べていたので胃袋が楽だった。昼は近くの公園で一周するほどの出店がでるので、タンドーリチキンやBBQバーガーなど多彩な料理を10ドルぐらいで食べることができる。日本人の場合、高いし美味しくないと感じる方が多数かもしれないが・・・。このホテルの欠点はなぜかインターネットが頻回に回線切断された。私の部屋にはワイヤレスしか接続できず、長い時は30分以上切断されたまま。英語でフロントにクレームをしても、テキサスのAT-Tにつなげられ、英語で詳しく説 […] 明しなくてはならない。してもまた切れる。部屋替えなどお願いできる自信があるならよいが、私の部屋のようなところでないことを祈る。もしオンラインゲーム等をやる方は、はじめから別なところのほうが・・・？ もっと読む

予想外に部屋が広くてびっくりしました。 ５月ですが夜は冷えるのか、部屋が広過ぎなのか寒かったので毛布を追加しました。（エアコンは喉に悪いので切った） 設備は冷蔵庫があれば良かったかな。 掃除のスタッフは愛想が無く、コーヒーの補充もいい加減でした。 でもそれを除けば快適でした。 IADからバス＋地下鉄で移動しましたがオレンジラインのfarragut westから徒歩５分程です。 注意点は週末この駅の17ｔｈ Stの出口は閉まっているので気を付けて下さい。 レッドラインのfarragut Northの方が若干ホテルには近いかもしません。 ホテル周辺にはカフェも数件あるので、朝はそちらへ出かけて食事するのも良いです。

他のレビューにもあるように立地は抜群です。地図で見るよりも地下鉄からの距離がなかったかのように感じました。IADへのアクセスはそれほどよくありませんが、DCAからは20分ほどで最寄りの地下鉄駅に着きました。地下鉄の入口が分かりにくいので、不安な人は確認することをお勧めします。 ホワイトハウスはもちろん、国会議事堂、リンカーン記念館へも徒歩で行けます。ただし、そこはアメリカです。それなりの時間と体力は必要です。リンカーン記念館へは往復で1時間はかかります。 部屋は、これでもかというほど広く、使い方に困りました。アメニティーも他に比べると充実していたように思います。 IADでのUNITEDのチェックインは4時過ぎからになっていました。早朝便を使う方は、チェックアウトをはやくしても空港で待たされます。アメリカでもっとも交通渋滞がおこる1日のThanksgiving […] Dayであっても早朝の道路はガラガラでしたので、ぎりぎりではだめですが、それなりの時間を見込んでいれば十分です。ちなみにホテルから35分くらいで到着しました。 もっと読む

移動手段として使用する地下鉄の駅、バス停が近くて便利だった。タクシーもすぐ拾えた。チェックインも予定時刻より早く対応してくれた。朝食バフェもオムレツを目の前で焼いてくれた。

I enjoyed my stay, though brief for a business meeting. My room was pricey, which I suppose was for the convenience of the hotel to all downtown DC has to offer. Great location and very helpful staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Only complaint was parking - Valet parking was $47 a day and it took a long time to retrieve your car.

We stayed for one night at the Capital Hilton in DC. This is a very nice hotel, just a few blocks from the White House. It's centrally located and easily accessible. The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable. They accommodated our request for a late checkout with no problem. For the money, this is a great deal in DC.

The hotel is located a couple blocks from the White House, and is convenient to Metro stations. The cleanliness of the room was questionable and the bath towels were stained from previous use. The towels were also about as soft as sandpaper or cardboard. The shower head leaked at the wall and would run down the inside of the shower in a steady stream […] whenever the water was on. Enjoyed my stay here - in particular, a very friendly, helpful, gracious doorman. But be warned, if you sign up for internet service on more than one device (laptop, iPad, etc) you will be charged $13.95 for EACH device. :-(

Our getaway started with a 4 AM fire alarm/evacuation of the hotel on our first night. The room was on the small side for a family of four, the bathroom exhaust fan did not work. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, Kenny from the valet service was great. The location of the hotel was perfect for our needs.

We enjoyed the location of the hotel. There was some banging and drilling that we heard throughout the day and it sounded like they were doing some renovations. Unfortunately we were all awakened at 3:30 AM when someone pulled the fire alarm. There was no fire but the alarms kept going off for the next hour and we had to go down 8 flights of stairs […] to learn it was a false alarm and could return to our rooms. The breakfast was very nice and the staff at the hotel seemed very pleasant. They were very helpful calling cabs and handling the luggage. I don't believe that we would stay there again however because of the noise and the issue with the fire alarms.
