Just needed a place to stay after moving out of my apartment right before graduating from UAB. This was one of the cheapest. Not very glamorous from the outside and in a questionable part of town. But the room does come with a mini fridge and wi-fi.

I would never stay at this days inn again! The manager was rude, had to change our room and he would not accommodate any requests we had made. The surrounding rooms were nasty people outside whistling at us and just bad neighborhood do not recommend at all!

I checked in at 2:30 a.m. with my son. I requested a late check out because we just completed a long drive to Birmingham. Needless to say, we went to bed right away. By 8 a.m. we were awakened to the sound of the train passing through on the nearby railroad which increased hour by hour. The neighborhood does not appear safe at all. The walls are very thin, I can hear housekeeping vacumning in the next room and bumping against my wall and moving their equipment down the walkway outside of my room! Needless to say I didn't need a late check out because I couldn't sleep in such a noisy hotel. Even though I asked in person to note my account for a late check out at noon, I was still called by the front desk at 11 a.m. to remind me its time to check out. Cleanliness was an issue. A couple of the bathroom towels had strands of hair embedded in the towels. Yuck! The ceiling vent in the bathroom was covered with a thick layer of dust. The fixtures in the shower were loose and rusted. The coffee maker located on the bathroom counter had dried spilled coffee behind it which tells me housekeeping is overall not thorough. I wore my sandals everytime my feet hit the floor. I expected more of a national chain like Days Inn. I SHOULD HAVE PAID ATTNETION TO THE REVIEWS ON THIS SITE! I won't be returning! もっと読む

My stay wasnt bad at all but then again i was just there when it was time for me to sleep so yeah. My only complaint is that when i left one day i put most of my stuff up and took the rest with me and my check out day wasnt until the next day and when i came back my key didnt work and when i got a new key i found the stuff i did have in my room thrown […] away and everything. Hotel is not in the best neighborhood. It could utilize more updating. We had to actually go down and request another room as we paid for a King bed but we were sent to a double bed. This was hassle enough since only 1 person is at the desk to assist you with this.

i like where the hotel was located in the most convent spot and i did enjoy my stay there .

I was awakened in the night by people fighting outside of my room. Also, someone down stairs below my room sold a drug addict cocaine but didn't give her the product. She yelled and beat and bammed on their door all night, threatening to call police. Nothing was done. I went to Birmingham for a job interview and I wanted a hotel near the company I was interviewing for. Days Inn was the only hotel near the Industrial area. I know we get what we pay for, but I only paid for two guests...not any extras. It was dirty and I woke up because something was crawling on my leg...I pulled the covers back and it was a roach. […] I'm a 270 lbs man, but I jumped up like I was a little kid. This was literally the worst place I have ever seen. The floor was sticky, the carpet was dirty and there were stains on my bed. It was so bad that I took the loss of no refund ability and went to a different hotel. I would recommend it to no one.

Hotel needs renovation badly floor doors and bedding.

This motel is very reasonablly priced, with a great location and excellent service! It is a comfortable room with a desk and comfortable chair for use of their wireless internet. The staff was pleasant. And the location is amazing for the value. But keep that old saying in mind "You get what you pay for." The hotel is rather run down and the surrounding neighborhood is very shady. Based on observation, lots of passing through truckers stay here. Don't drink the coffee here, the coffee maker is old and crusty. I am not sure why, but I actually tasted the concoction, it did not taste like coffee one bit. Yuck. Maid service woke me up around 7:30 banging on the door. Um...isn't check out supposed to be at 11? On the upside, the sheets were crisp and clean. And the front desk personnel was nice, as I noted earlier. If it wasn't for the location, i would never recommend staying here. But the value may prevent me from writing it off all together. もっと読む

Air conditioner did not work. Horrible musty smell. Unclean sheets. Very bad poor and rundown area, my whole family felt very unsafe. No extra toilet paper. Just a bad bad experience. Very unsatisfactory!!

sheets smelled of cigarette. Non-smoking room did have tobacco smell

Don't think that the 2 star rating makes this hotel bad. If you are on a budget and just looking for a place to stay for a night or two, I would recommend this place to you. The only thing worse than the condition of the hotel is the neighborhood, definitely not safe after dark. The breakfast is a joke, don't even bother. Housekeeping wants you out of the room whether you are ready or not. I was travelling alone, but please don't bring your family here.

Pool closes at 8:00 PM in the evening not really enough time for kids to play in the pool after a day of activities.

The hallway outside of our room was disgusting! It was super warm because of the ice machine and smelled terrible. The breakfast was minimal, and the space was not well taken care of.

Great stay at this Hotel no problems at all clean and close to highway

The hotel is located right off the interstate and is noisy. There is also a run down neighborhood right next to it that seemed to have party's going on constantly. Lots of truck activity here as well which contributed significantly to the noise. Hotel was pet friendly, but NOWHERE for my dogs to use the restroom at all!!

Speed past this hotel even if you have to get a ticket.
