This hotel was really nice Had some minor issues with my room toliet and lamps by having working bulbs, and the ATM machine not working other than that the stay was pleasant.

The room was good. It was the neighboring room that was very loud. Other than that it was good. Do not care for the parking situation.

Our experience was very nice; the lighting in the bathroom was a little dim and there was no fan in the bathroom.

Hilton hotel was comfortable and clean. Conveniently close to the freeway.

Overall, I was satisfied with my stay. I just had one complain though...it was the water in the bathroom...there were a coupleof times when I really couldn't get hot water.

The hotel has several extra charges upon check-in such as parking, internet - and to cover those extra charges a $75 per night is charged. As a consultant I use hotels 3 nights a week and would expect the internet to be free at least. Will definitely use other top notch hotels for future stays.

Upon arrival, I was disappointed in the professionalism of the gentleman at the front desk. In regards to parking, rather than stating our options simply, with something like "you can park on the street, at your own risk" or pay $16/day to park in the secured parking, he went on and on and as he did so, he was pacing back and forth. Also, we booked our room on hotels.com along with another couple that stayed, they received complimentary breakfast and we did not. We were told that breakfast was not included but that there would be a white door hanger that we could put out to receive $5 off of our breakfast, we could not locate this door hanger anywhere in our room. When we arrived at this hotel it was 4 PM and they did not have a room for us. We had to go out and they said they would call us when they had a room avail. They did not call us but when we came back at 5:30 they did have a room. Hotel room way very very noisy being next to the Freeway and we were on the top floor. Rooms are very tiny.

Very nice hotel. The valet people are awsome and so are the servers at the restaurant, always polite and willing to help. Hotel was decent, good location for qualcom events and mall. Dozens of places to eat, BUT they charged 16.00 for parking which is ridiculous seeing as they had enough parking for guests. I really enjoyed my stay at the San Diego Mission Valley Hilton. The room was very comfortable and quiet the entire week of my stay. I was traveling for business and the desk area was very spacious and comfortable, just like working from a home office. The room and bathroom were very clean. There are a lot of hidden fees! We had to pay for parking, even though we didn't have a car. We were given a parking validation ticket when we first came to the hotel, and we just put it away, and when we checked out we had to pay 16$ a night!!! Horrible. The bathroom faucet badly needs repair or replacement, not draining well for a long time which is not expected at the level of hotel carries the name Hilton. (Check room 621 faucet if in doubt). Wi-Fi should be free as with most, even cheaper, hotels and unable to work unless if we are to pay $10/day extra (we never had to pay in other hotels and even […] in coffee shops are giving free Wi-Fi; think about it). Room service is not working fast, with used trays in the hallways, not only are eye sores, but smells bad, late at the time we checked-in at 0400 PM (those are breakfast trays and still not collected, and one with dirty glasses and leftover food in a tray was right in front of the room we checked-in). That was the first bad impression that we are getting into poorly maintained hotel. Staff is polite and helpful and that was the only plus. Coffee at the cafe in lobby is of very poor quality, just like hot water, very unsatisfatory for people who are used to drink Starbucks. We stayed there for the first time only because it was close to our daughter's house. But we will not return to Hilton. There are others in the same area and will check out those next time. Hotel was located in a good spot close to a lot of commerce. We needed extra towels and then bedding in another instance; the staff responded swiftly. Friendly environment. very satisfied with this hotel

We were staying with our 2 children we got a room with 2 beds, the beds were small for 2 persons and not too comfortable, other than that everything was ok.

We had an amazing experience for the holiday weekend for New Year. The room was wonderful and the morning breakfast was scrumptious. We loved the whole experience from the lobby decorations to the friendly and helpful staff.

The room did not have a microwave. A must for travelors! The second floor had a smoking balcony which was nice. The rooms were clean.

Great service, excellent location, everything was perfect.

Spent three nighst the week before Christmas. Was in a good location to everything and everyone was nice. The bartender a young lady was a kick!!!

Second time staying here. Both times it has been great. My husband and I are heading back to San Diego in January and we will be staying at the Hilton again.

No free in room wireless. Won't ever stay there again. It's bad enough the tax rates are 20% - but to get hit with another 10% for the internet - forget it.

We have just returned from this hotel for two nights. The staff were friendly, the room was clean, the price was right. My advice would be to ask for a room facing away from the highway - we did and our room was quiet. It would be nice if this hotel had an airport shuttle, but they didn't so you need to take a cab. I will never stay in this hotel again simply because the extra fees you have, cost almost as much as staying the the hotel for one night. First, It is extrememly expensive to park. I have lived in san diego for ten years and this is one of the only hotels i havent stayed in over the years. I understand expensive parking if you are not staying there, […] but once you book a room the price of parking should drop drastically or maybe have no parking fees at all. If prices for parking stay this high I will never be staying here ever again. My hotel room accommodation was good. I had a good room rate, but I'd pass booking on a room next to utility area. Friendly staff and clean facility. Everything was very good to excellent for our weekend stay here. The only hiccup would be room service on Saturday night said it would take 20 minutes and an hour later we called and they said it was on it's way. Location is good, close to all the touristy locations, easy access to freeway, but don't stay on freeway side, the noise is awful. Also be aware of the hefty $ 16 per day parking charge. The walls are pretty thin so you can hear your neighbors.

The hotel was clean and the front desk staff were friendly and courteous however I was not happy with the bartender at the restaurant by the main lobby. She took about 10 minutes to take my drink order and then another 10 to finally make it. She rarely checked in with me and just threw the bill down without me asking for it as what they would do in […] any diner or low end establishment. She disappeared for moments during the stay and when she was at the bar she just chatted with her friends and giving them free drinks. Some of you may think she wasn't around due to the restaurant being busy but no that was not the case. The restaurant had only 2 tables with 1 and 2 people sitting and 3 people at the bar on a Saturday at 3:30 PM when it was slow. My hotel room didn't have much of a view and the neighborhood surrounding the hotel isn't really all that much to be great of. I enjoyed our stay, would definitely stay again. The price was decent for a HIlton stay. Didn't have an opportunity to use the hotel amenities but overall I was very satisfied!

The restaurant on site food was absolutely terrible and something must be done. You cannot ask top dollar prices for food that is below level quality. McDonalds has better tasting food....and I hate McDonalds!

I've stayed in many 3+ star-hotels, but I don't think this Hilton hotel deserves the rating of 31/2 stars. The condition of the hotel is poor mantenance. The only thing I like about this hotel is convenient of the location; easy to get many places like seaworld, San Diego zoo, Hillcrest downtown...
