We spent one night in Room 213 at the North Fredricksberg Days Inn. The supposedly non-smoking room smelled strongly of smoke but as it was late and we were tired when we checked in we opted to ignore the smell and sot bother looking to change rooms. Unfortunately, this will be the second bad review that i give sinve I've been with hotel.com. I travel to this location becasue of a Statewide National Football game for my organization. However, all of my parents and myseld included made reservations prior to our stay and we let them know that we will be coming in really early and wanted to see if […] we could check in early. We where told that we could and by the time we got there no one knew what was going on therefore, all my 30 boys and their parents had to stand outside and change clothes before our game and we had no room. Nicely remodeled living area and granite sink. However, the bathroom was beyond disgusting. The walls were cracked, the floor looked dirty, and the shower faucet was leaky. Shower was dirty. Breakfast was stale, not even good coffee. Not staying there again!

The room was comfortable but very dissatisfied with the internet service. Was not able to connect most of the night also unable to get on in the mrning.

Room was "Clean" and bed was comfy. We found the hotel hard to get to because it's behind a restuarant (kind of hidden). The lack of communication caused my family to be given a room that was in need of repairs. There was bugs in the room and the cleaning person(s) came in and only gave us clean towels. The beds were not made in both rooms, the trash cans were not emptied and floor not […] cleaned. You get what you pay for

We stayed for 2 nights and they didn't change the sheets. It's a good stay for your money but not for an extended vacation.

It was ok for a night stay. I stayed 2 nights and one of those stay I did not get maid service. Stairs leading to 2nd floor was uneven and rusty. In bad need of a upgrade. Price was ok.

Listen to the words of others! This place is terrible. All the people that panned it were right. Room was old and dirty, stains everywhere. Bathroom dirty. Tried to take a shower, shower head only dripped boiling hot water when turned on, even if faucet was set all cold. No plug so couldn't even take a bath. The room were the worst dust all over the walls, light switch did not work. Holes is the bathroom walls spiders everywhere. It was the worst I have seen in my entire life!! Hotel is convenient to rt 95 and cheap, but thats where the good part ends. Towels and washcloths had pubic hair stuck to them. Our non smoking room had blankets full of cigarette burns. The air did not work. I put the chair in front of the door and went to sleep only to wake up with my leg stuck through a big hole in my sheet. I wouldnt eat the free […] breakfast if you paid me. close to highway. was the hottest room ever. ac did not work even though maintanence came to "fix" it. couldn't change rooms to a cooler one. couldn't sleep due to heat which made time go by so slow. thank god perkins was next door and they offered a discount for staying here. won't be back. you get what you pay for that is for sure!

Didn't have a goo night's sleep; scratchy sheets, loud AC.

It was quiet and very easy to access from I-95. The cleanliness was not up to standard. The blankets were worn, with holes in spots. The bathroom was dirty, and showed visible signs of wear.

Cheap motel, very old and outdated but pool was nice. For a quick stop it served it purpose.

costumer service was fine, but the room is a whole different story. Being that it was a Days Inn , my expectations were much higher. The room was not cleaned very well, what appeared to be blood stains on the bathroom door, deteriorated toilet seat, rusted bathtub drain and faucet, scattered hair on the bathroom floor. Bathroom had hair all over in tub & toilet seat. Toothpaste stains in sink. Found hair & stain on sheets. Dust on furniture. Coffee maker jar missing. It appeared that no room service and just fixed sheets after previous customers left.

It was OK. Some of the lights didn't work. As it turned out, there was a youth basketball team staying at the hotel the same night we were. The kids were loud and out of their rooms all night. I spoke to them and then called the front desk. It seems the phone was broken also. OTHER THAN THAT, THAT IS IT! I reserved a room only bc of splitting up a 12 hour drive, and this was a little more than half-way to our destination. The hotel room was clean and the staff was nice and professional the pool was a little small overall very good stay

Not bad - but I would not go back. It was worth exactly what I paid for it. The pool was dirty and the breakfast was minimal - and completely gone within an hour.

The hotel was sold out, thank goodness we had a reservation. The first room wasn't clean no fault of Leticia the front desk clerk. I have been a desk clerk and she did an excellent job handling all the situatios that were thrown at her! Once we got a new room the stay went well. We checked in, saw the quality of the hotel and immediately checked out. Wouldn't stay one night there. Hotels.com rated it about the same as others in the area, but it's definitely not!

convenient to the highway with lots of restaurants in the immediate area, as well as other hotels/motels/gas stations. Clean and it met my expectations. Light continental breakfast in the AM.

I have used this area as an overnight stop several times as it's easy on/off I-95 and right on VA rte 17. As a road-weary traveler I was delighted to have a family-style restaurant in walking distance. There are also many other restaurants, stores and gas stations in the vicinity. The hotel is convenient to the interstate and check in was simple. The chain on the door was broken, there was a hair (not mine) on one of the pillows, and a brown stain on the wall by the bed.
