The only thing nice about this place was the man at the desk late at night. Otherwise, this is the place where convicted felons plan their next attack. Do not stay here if you don't have to. This hotel was great value for the money spent. We needed a room after I95 was shut down after accident. Great location with several restaurants in the neighborhood. Refrigerator and microwave in the room was appreciated. Comfortable bed and clean room.

Location was convenient for us, but that was the best thing I could say. While there was nothing major wrong, the minor inconveniences added up. (I'd started to list them but ran out of room.)

The front desk personnel were friendly but the room was nasty. There were hand prints on the bathroom door as if it hadn't been wiped down in a while. The tub had hair and dirt in it. I had to clean out the tub and the door with my own cleaning products. The carpet was disgusting. I had on brand new white socks and after walking in the room a few times […] the socks were dirty brown on the bottom. The carpet was also sticky. Overall, I would NOT suggest this hotel to others. The hotel room smelled like pure mildew. I wanted to drive back to NY that same night because I really didn't see how on earth I would be able to stay there one more minute. Although I paid for 2 days 2 rooms, we ended up leaving earlier because the heat was not working properly. Overall, it was a HOT MESS!!

Appears to be undergoing renovations room by room. One of our two rooms lacked a full set of towels. The other had a live insect on the wall (in December?!) and a dead one on the AC unit. One the reasons i stayed at ho The only things i wasn't happy with was the complimentary breakfast. One of the reasons i stayed at HoJo.felt i would save a little money by not having to pay for my morning meals.Bagels,ceral,instant oatmeal,mini muffinsand a few apples. I was not expecting anything fancy after getting a very cheap rate. We had to book last minute to attend a funeral. We just needed a place to sleep for a couple nights close to Fredericksburg. This hotel fit those requirements just fine and the room was relatively comfortable for the price. The only strange thing was that the man working the reception […] desk was asleep when I arrived around 10pm. It took a few shouts to get him awake. After I got him conscious he stayed in his chair and rambled incoherently about there not being any ground-level rooms available and "they" wouldn't let me get the weekly rate which I wasn't interested in anyway. Iffy from the outside, but it turned out to be a good stay. Clean and fairly spacious rooms and very inexpesive prices for longer stays.

...it would be. Quiet, clean and comfortable for the most part. Parking was the only thing that bothered me in the least.

Management at the hotel is awful. A simple thing like a package for a guest was beyond them. Response from the management was that it was my fault for not informing them in advance of my need for a package that was delivered. Continential breakfast was very limited - toast, small bagels (no cream cheese) and corn flakes. Non-smoking room adjoining […] a smoking room - of course the smoke came right through, but this is just normal for the management. Policy stated "No trailers" and yet a jet ski trailer was parked in the guest parking area. Might have been a guest's, might have been a hotel employee's. Cable reception in the room was terrible, you could barely see the picture through all the fuzziness. The motel was was advertised as having wireless internet in the room but I could never get a connection. I had to sit in the breakfast room to get connected. The free breakfast is really terrible and limited.. The accommodations were sufficient for an overnight stay. The rooms were clean. The beds weren't all that great but they were fine for a one night stay. It's a stopover type of place. It's not some place I would want to stay for an extended period of time.

Upon our checking in we were instructed where our room was discovered the parking lot was closed and we were forced to park on other side. Not advised of this, but would have liked to have known this. Also, the Complimentary Continental Breakfast was not available.

room was a bit worn looking, security latch was broken

My fiance and I spent one night here to go to a conference in the morning. The room itself had a bed that wasn't a queen (though it was labeled as one) and smelled musty. There were stains on the side of the mattress and in one of the chairs. The sheets on the bed were, however, clean and free of any bed bugs.(Which was a relief!) Also, we had trouble sleeping because you could hear EVERYTHING that was going on in nearby rooms. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you really wanted to save some cash. Overall, not bad given the convenience and price. I stayed at the motel for the 2011 Marine Corps Half Marathon. Convenient location close to pick up lot for the shuttle to the race starting line. The price was good given the overall condition of the hotel. It is an older building in comparison to many others in the area. Very comfortable hotel! I slept in so i dont know how the breakfast was but everything else was nice!

It was quite obvious that this room had not been occupied for a while...the toilet had a "ring and film" from sitting for a long time. The carpet was littered with dead "stink" bugs.

Hotel looks old. Rooms were blocked from the hwy and gave a feeling of a little anxiety of who could come and go w/o detection. Nothing happened and we were only there for one night.

After a long day at an amusement park, this was a very good place to stay. The hotel is right off of the highway, the staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean and well kept up. Everything was good at the room but we were to have a non smoking room and they didn't give us one. Overall it was good and everything worked good and i would stay again.

Not new or pretty. But the price was right and I felt safe. The pool was one of the best I have ever encountered at a hotel.

The room was decent. The carpet, bedding and furniture was in decent shape. I always look under the mattress to check for things left behind. There was nothing there, plus it looked clean. I found out there was free wireless internet, but had to call the front desk to get the security code. Why not just have the code in the room? Or at least a note […] to tell you to call for the code. The tv reception was terrible. Most all channels were so fuzzy you would not want to watch. It wasn't just my room because I noticed the tv in their office was very poor as well. The tv reception is my real only complaint. Everything else met my expectations. The outside grounds looked dingy with old sheds and etc out back- but who really cares.
