It was very good staff and hotel room patt was clean I think but the bath tub had dirt in the bottom of it still when I went to shower. So it makes me wonder about the rooms cleanliness.

Very pleased with the hotel, room, and surrounding parks and hiking opportunities. The only thing that was not very good or great was the water pressure in the shower. Otherwise, a very nice and comfortable room. Quiet too for the most part. Good and filling breakfast options. They let you take your breakfast to your room too, which I like.

Stayed there for one night so I can ski early in the morning Sunday the skiing was awesome but this hotel is too far from camel back and the casino had to take the back roads. and Ibooked the smoking section so I can get the whirlpool not worth it way too much smoke smell hits you when you walk in, breakfast was already gone by 10am

Great hotel right off 84, thought it might be loud but wasn't. The only thing I would change are the pillows, they were really flimsy. Otherwise perfect for what we needed. Breakfast area really great, more selection than a standard continental, very helpful young lady there keeping it clean and well stocked!!

I have stayed at this hotel several times but have not been there in a few years. Our last stay 12/2011 was very nice. The lobby and the rooms have updated decor and new TVs. Breakfast was not very good.

Clean facilities, did not get the breakfast or eat there because we slept late. We requested and did receive a later check out time so that was cool. The remove for the TV was missing until we found it on the window sill behind the curtain. We didn't have time to watch TV anyway. All in all a good stay, nice and quiet all around. I loved the hotel very friendly staff and the rooms were nice. I get freaked out by hotels usually but I was very comfortable and relaxed here. The breakfast provided was good also. Definitely would stay here again.

Hotel was nice, a little distant from our location as was everything else. Staff was nice, room was clean. Whirlpool tub was loud, and quite small - not as we had imagined it. Over all it was a nice experience. Also! There were two floors, but not an elevator. I choose this hotel because it was the closest to "The Hideout". The hotel itself was nice and the staff was friendly. The room was spacious but it smelled like mold and cigarettes, keeping in mind that it was suppose to be a non-smoking room. The free breakfast did the job and my overall stay was okay.

Good location - the halfway point of a roadtrip. Nice staff, decent room. Could tell it used to be a smoking room, but it was clean and comfortable. I would stay here again.

My experience with pet friendly hotels over the years has been quite varied. The Comfort Inn was a real surprise, as I have come to expect pet friendly rooms to be, well, a bit doggy. Stayed her for a weekend just to get away from the rat race of the city. The location was close to the highway and so very easy to access, The staff at the hotel were very helpful in reccommending places of interest and gave us printed directions. It was a motel in the woods . nothing near except a restaurant and a gas station.we had to go more than 15 miles to buy some diapers for my daughter. we stayed there for 2 nights. the room maid partially cleaned the room next day . We enjoyed a few days in the Poconos and stayed at the Comfort Inn - the staff was very nice, the manager was a cut above. Some folks behind the desk were definitely friendlier than others, but everyone was polite and helpful. Breakfast was very good, kitchen / dining area was clean. Our room was clean, the bathroom was clean, although the sink area […] was small. Our room was very quiet, even though we were close to the game room. Game room was stocked with more than games,,, books too! We had the PPL linemen at the hotel while we were there ( power outages in the area), they seemed to be comfortable too. I wish there were a few more benches outside. Had to go a few miles to find choices for dining, but we knew we weren't going to be in the heart of the activity. everything was fine except the front desk clerk was unhelpful, short and snippy. it was disappointing.

This was my second stay at this hotel in Pa. It is only 1/2 hour from the Poconos and a 1/2 hour from Honesdale - another very nice little town. Next to the hotel is a restaurant - we ate there a few times and the food was excellent - home made - plenty of it and so much cheaper then what I pay in restaurant in New York . We enjoyed this stop between Harrisburg, PA and Beverly, MA. It was just what we needed to break up an 8 hour drive.
