Very inconvenient to get to from any direction but coming south on Rt 83 All other directions require previous knowledge of a huge, almost unconnected parking lot to be used to reach the hotel. Helpfullness of the staff was inconsistant. Some very good. Some either not knowledgeable or unwilling to assist any more than absolutely necessary. Breakfast […] was prepakged and heated up in an oven. Large portions of bad food does not make the food any better. Service in Bistro uneven. My wife and I were pleased with this hotel. It is within 2 miles of my son's apartment. We were there this weekend to celebrate our grand daughter's 1 year old birthday. The hotel room was clean, the attendants and maids were very friendly, and the food at the restaurant was good.

I expect alot from Marriott, they always meet my expectations, this time they exceeded them. Every Marriott employee I came in contact with had a smile and wanted to know could they help me. They were the friendliest staff I have ever encountered, besides being professional and efficient. Will definitely be back.

The hotel was renovating and I didn't expect the construction. However in spite of that it was still clean, quiet, and comfortable

Staff is very friendly and helpful, breakfast was fast and hot, rooms were clean and comfortable for the most part, I stayed here 3 times in the recent past and once mty bed was way too hard for my liking, I did not ask to change rooms, but I am sure it would not have been a problem.

Our stay was verry nice . The hotel staff was all very courtious and helpful. The wait staff for breakfast was very effecient. We recieved better service there that we have at high end restraunts. We would recomend this hotel to everyone and wil stay again when in the area.

The staff at this hotel is very friendly and helpful. Location is a bit far from ORD & uptown Chicago, but it is a quiet neighborhood.

The hotel was fabulous. The free internet lobby was great. The complimentary breakfast buffet was awesome and had lots of good choices. The beds and PILLOWS were super comfortable. The staff was very friendly although they did tell my co-worker when she called the front desk that HBO was a channel that would have to be paid for (it actually is included). […] The hair dryer in my room was missing but they brought one right up to me when I called. We stay there every time we visit- close to everything despite being close to highways- quiet. Clearly well managed!

The room was very smokey and had a moldy shower curtain. Breakfast bar was not included, but given the low quaity I felt it was surprising that they would charge for it. I was not surprised that they seemed to be running at about 20% occupancy. I would not stay there again unless the location made it necessary.

it was ok but I think the cashier should know what we are being charged even if we book on line

Although the location of this hotel met our criteria and we felt safe in the surrounding neighborhood, the quality of the room was terrible and unhealthy. There was no fan in the bathroom which seems to have created a black mold problem; i.e. black mold on the ceiling, window, etc. When we mentioned this at the front desk, they asked us which room we […] were staying in and then nodded and shrugged their shoulders. Also, we were promised a $25 Visa gift card when we booked it, which they knew nothing about but assured us that when the Manager returned (who also wasn't present to address the mold problem) she would look into it. First the receptionist was very funny and helpful when I needed information. The check-in was easy and fast. We went into the room was very clean. Everything we needed was there. I definitely would stay again.

It had everything we needed for comfort, was very reasonable, friendly. Would like to have had some type of breakfast included, if only pastries. But would stay there again without hesitation.
