早朝にアスワン、ルクソールへ観光に行かれたり 帰国される方には大変お勧めできるホテルだ。 空港ターミナルまで無料の送迎バスが 30分おきに出ている。 何よりカイロの市街地のホテルから 大渋滞による空港までの時間やタクシー交渉を 必要もなく、国内線1時間前、 国際線2時間前までゆっくり過ごせるからだ。 部屋には有線だが無料のインターネットも使えて ロビーでは無線の無料インターネットも使える。 ロビーには両替商もあり、 空港とレートは変わらないのでいい。 24時間スーパーマーケットがバスターミナルの バイパス通り挟んで反対側にあるが 歩いていくと10分くらい掛かり、 砂ぼこりと排気ガスで体が汚れるので、 ホテルのシャトルバスに行き乗せてもらい 帰るは空港のシャトルバスに乗って帰って来た […] 。 歩きとシャトルバスの両方経験したので 間違いない。 朝食は、他の人の口コミにもあるように 御世辞にも美味しいとは言えない... その場で作ってもらうオムレツとフルーツだけは まぁまぁ美味しいのでお試しあれ。 ただ、あくまで出発する前泊のみお勧めする。 なぜならピラミッドや考古学博物館 オールドカイロなどの市街地を観光するには あまりに離れていて不便。移動する度に タクシー料金が必要になる。 バスなら2E￡で1時間10分 タクシーなら45E￡＋バクシーシ5E￡で40分 (夕刻は渋滞するので＋20分はみといた方がいい) もっと読む

ホテルはきれいで落ち着いた雰囲気。 バスタブもきれいだった。 しかし、受付の対応が悪く、チェックインにも相当時間がかかった。また部屋の無線LANがつながらずフロントに電話したが全くやる気のない対応で結局つながらずじまいでした。 ホテルの部屋と、空港へのアクセルが良いので次回も使っても良いかとは思います。

エジプト航空で到着が遅れ真夜中になりました。到着ロビーを出た所でホテルのバスを待ちましたが、乗車位置を示す看板もなくバスのサイズも想像出来なかったので空港のガードマンの方に尋ねると１５分くらいで来るよとのこと。ツアーのお客さんを乗せるバンやバスがたくさん出発して行く中、ホテル名を書いたバンが、きょろきょろしていた私たちの前に止まり、ドライバーが「NOVOTEL！」と叫びました。でもバンの車体には別のホテルの名前。不信顔していたのか、すでに乗っていたアメリカ人の女の子がノボテルに行くよと教えてくれました。到着してみてわかったのですが、隣のホテルのバンでした。交互にバンを出してお互いのホテルのお客さんをひらって行くシステムみたいです。口コミで迎えが来なかったとか、歩いて行ったというのを読んでいた […] のが納得でした。見逃す確立が高そうです。ちなみにホテルの建物は第3ターミナルからは全く見えず、車に乗りながら、歩くと時間かかっただろうな～と思いました。ガードマンの人も遠めからそれそれ！と指差ししてくれてたので乗る気になったのですが、エジプトのガイドブックの注意書きがすごいので「違うところに連れて行かれるかも？」と疑いそうでした。予約の時、トリプルの設定がなかったので、ツインとシングルを取りましたが両方同じ部屋タイプで、しかもベッドになる仕組みのソファーがあったので、トリプルに出来たのでは？と思いました。朝食はプールが見えるレストランでバイキング。結構充実していました。ホテル前から、帰りはホテルのロゴが入ったバンで空港まで送ってくれました。ドライバーさんがとても陽気な方でにこにこしながら「バイバイ、エジプト～！カムアゲン！」と何度も車中で歌うように言ってました。 もっと読む

Stayed ther many times for business purposes. Hotel is very old and basic and will be ready and renovated next year (scheduled). The hotel is particularly (only) suitable for travellers who must get a flight soon and in middle of the night or early morning or when you arrive in Cairo very late at night. Very well maintained, with good restaurants and breakfast. Good value for the price, convenienrt location if you need to be around the Heliopolis/Airport area.

The only thing positive about this place is it's proximity to the airport. However there are much better places to stay within 10 minutes away including Le Passage directly next door. Minibar was dirty and broken. Hotel staff try to inter my room after midnight so as a lady I do't feel safe for the rest of the night. I will not book this hotel again

My room was comfortable and quiet. An easy shuttle ride to the airport in the morning. Like many high volume, high turnover airport hotels this place could use some special attention (e.g. the chairs were spotted, the walls were scratched, etc.). At lhe sheets were clean, the bathroom was clean. I'd be gappy staying here again.

I have now been staying at this hotel over the past 6 year, an average of 15 times a year, I have tried other hotels in Cairo, some cheaper & some double the price,and always return to the Novotel Cairo Airport, it is very convenient with free internet in all the rooms, & free drop off & pick up from the airport every 30 mins,it is a NIGHTMARE to try […] to pick up a taxi from the airport to any hotel,the staff are all very friendly, and I have found that the chef will almost stand on his head to please the guests,the pool is heated , even during the winter & is a pleasure to take a dip, I shall continue to stay there during my trips to Cairo もっと読む

Very convenient for someone who wants to change flight and have some rest or stay overnight within the airport complex. The hotel managment should look more into cleanliness. The bathroom was not clean, the coffee mug in the room was not clean, even the hot water served for tea in the breakfast was not clean at all. the hotel was perfect for us. The free shuttle bus to the airport worked very well. A hotel Rep. even met us upon arrival. Very friendly staff.

The biggest advantage is the location close to the international airport and complimentary shuttle bus every 30 minutes.

Great location badly managed hotel. At 9pm they did not have my room ready and I had to fight to get a room and then it was not what I had booked queen bed and not two twins. So all in all wasted upwards of an hour before I had a room. They had overbooked and kept all people following me waiting for long periods of time. Offered me a room without a […] key so I would have to come to get the master key everytime I wanted to access my room. Threadbare hotel, the air conditioning did not work properly so I woke up in a sweat at night. Overall seedy feeling to the place. This hotel was close to the Airport but the shuttle bus doesnt work properly, i arrived and waited for 45mins and the shuttle never arrived so at the end i have to take a taxi.

The hotel is not nice at all. It looked stunning on the web than in real life. My room door could not lock. The interior is old and the rooms had a funny smell. The carpets was dirty.

we arrived in the midst of the demonstations of February 2011, when the Internet was shut down. The staff was harried to say the least but they were as helpful as they could be. Exited cairo airport, and you get the taxi drivers trying to charge you 80 EGP for a 7 min taxi ride. Ended up paying 25 EGP (although probably could have got this down to 15 EGP) if I was bothered enough. Good quality hotel with nice outdoor swimming pool area. All the usuals - bread, jam, cheese, ham + croissants, cakes, juice and numerous hot breakfast options. The room itself was 4-star quality. Decent shower, tiled floors, free shampoo etc, minibar (about £3 for can of beer, £1 for a can of Coke), comfortable double bed, 30-inch attached to the wall, a sofa, and a free bowl oof fruit. Check out was very quick too. Handed them my key, 20 seconds later, thank you. All pre-paid for on hotels.com for £60 - pretty good value. A free shuttle bus goes from the Novotel every 30 minutes. We needed a hotel close to Cairo airport for an early am flight and this was the perfect hotel. Very close to airport and the free hotel shuttle bus to airport is every 30 mins. The staff were helpful. Quick check in and check out. Great free buffet breakfast served early. Room was quiet and clean, a fresh fruit plate greeted us along with bottled water […] (complementary). As with my first time through this hotel, I was upgraded upon arrival to an Executive Suite with no extra cost. The staff was very friendly toward me and made sure I was happy with my stay. The front officer manager has no customer service skills. Nor is he interested in maintaining Novotel customers. Novotel should review this property and either dump it or re-staff. Period.

Location was great as we had a stopover on our way back to Amsterdam. Room was okay, although requested a non-smoking and obviously it was a smoking floor, the smell permeated the room overnight from neighboring rooms....

After staying at a disgusting "four star" hotel in Cairo, this was a huge relief. The Novotel airport is as close to a Westernized four star hotel as you will likely find in this country. A previous review described the hotel as a super 8 with a novotel lobby - pretty much an accurate description. However, for a short stay or transit, you can't beat the place. There is a free shuttle, but you should call the hotel. The buffet's are nothing to rave about, but do the trick.

I stayed at Novotel after a long trip from Rafah Crossing across Sinai, and ahead of an early flight to London the next morning. I was with my two kids. We were exhausted. THe hotel exceeded our expectations-from the friendly and helpful front desk, to the bellboys, to the incredible breakfast-WOW! Not only that, but we had a complimentary bowl of fruit, […] dates, and water waiting for us in the room. The bellboy told me exactly when the shuttle was coming so I wouldn't miss it and came to get me from the breakfast area (which starts at 5am-so you don't miss breakfast if you have an early flight). My flight got into Cairo at an ungodly hour, and to see the Novotel glowing right across the parking lot was such a joy. The hotel itself seemed pretty well-run. It was comfortable and there were no disappointments or hassles, which is not to be taken for granted in Cairo. The only drawback is that it's a cab ride to get to any of the tourist areas […] -- pyramids, museums, etc. -- but cabs are quite cheap, so that's not the end of the world. My wife and I were perfectly satisfied. It was great for an overnight before our flight, but would have been fine regardless. We appreciated the fruit plate in our room on arrival, shuttle to/from the terminal was fine, check-in fast and efficient, Italian restaurant was fine, pool was great, everything was clean and comfortable. This is a good hotel for a stay over in Cairo. Very close to the airport, clean and confortable rooms. Nothing fancy but good for a night stay. The breakfast was adecuate.

Bathroom in hotel room had a cracked sink and the mattress was very hard. Overall, hotel room was clean, entertainment in lounge area was good and the shuttle service to airport ran every half hour.

This hotel is a great location to the Airport convenient for early departures or late arrivals. The pool area is nice they have a couple different dinning options and a friendly helpful staff.

This hotel is a good stay for departing Cairo on next day flight. It is located next to airport and provides shuttle to airport.

The main reason we stayed was that we arrived at 1:00am in a strange city. Novotel gave us a reliable place to stay right at the airport. The room was no problem, it's just sort of a boring boxy place but we didn't look for a resort.
