One of the best locations you'll ever find for any hotel. Renaissance is very close to everything you want to do in Baltimore. The hotel is in excellent condition and in good repair. There is some hall noise in the room, that you don't expect from a hotel of this quality, but overall a great experience.

Best location to see all the sights. Park your car once and your done. Room was spacious and quiet.

Very helpful front desk personnel, nice view and hotel

I had a lovely stay. I think my friend liked it too. We had to ask for extra hangers. I was a bit disappointed with the buffet breakfast; the scrambled eggs should not have been SOLID. The service was excellent.

we've stayed there several times and are never disappointed. It's clean, friendly and the location is perfect.

We had a great stay and the conveniences were a huge plus. One thing the hotel did promote; access to a complete shopping Mall within the same facility. We were amazed that right through the Hotel lobby, we were inside a 4 story shopping Mall. Had i know that, i would have reserved more spending money. Shop until you drop. Spent a few days in the Inner Harbor for spring break. The Renaissance was beautiful. The location is perfect for taking strolls through the Harbor and getting to great restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay there again.

This hotel was very clean, the staff was quite friendly and helpful and the location was perfect! The only thing to note is that the doors leaving the rooms could have some more soundproofing. The have signs posted encouraging guests to be quiet when in the halls but not everyone follows it and the doors hardly keep that sound out at all. Great stay!

This hotel was terrific. The service and rooms were outstanding. The only thing that came up short of expectations was the pool – poorly supervised and therefore chaotic (to the point where we decided not to use it). But the reception people could not have been nicer, the room felt luxurious, and one could not have asked for a better location.

Valet lost keys to my car. I had to wait for 45 minutes for them to find them. After all of that the Hotel had the nerve to charge my credit card $40 for valet parking.

Went to Baltimore for the weekend and chose the Renaissance for its proximity to Inner Harbor and the Aquarium. Had the best hotel experience I've had in years. Nice view of the Harbor

The elevator/stair situation in this hotel needs to be addressed. We were forced to wait in long lines for the elevator, whether you were on your floor or in the lobby. When the elevator finally arrived, you were forced to squeeze into the elevator with some 10 or so other disgruntled customers. Why not use the stairs? Well, according to the staff, […] you cannot use the stairs unless you wish to exit the building from a side door. The stairs cannot be used to access the floor you are staying on. I had to question whether this was legal, but I assume it is, otherwise the city would probably have cited them. Here in lies the root of the problem: stair access. A hotel of this size should not be relying on a couple of elevators to bring paying occupants to their rooms. Either make the stairs accessible, or invest in a few more elevators. もっと読む

My stay was for one night. Service from all staff was great! Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel was in a great location. Walking distance to the stadium, museums, aquarium, harbor and the mall was through a set of doors in the lobby. How convenient! Highly recommend!

This hotel has really slipped in quality of service. When I arrived, no valet was to be found, no one greeted me at the hotel. I unloaded the car myself. Then, at 9 pm the first night, a street crew began jackhammering the street. I called the desk twice to ask that my room be moved, and was told there was nothing that could be done. I got dressed at […] 10 pm and went down to the desk, and they finally moved me to a different room. When I went to the new room, there was no room service menu. I called the desk twice, asking for one. No menu was ever brought. Then, when I went downstairs to the breakfast buffett, the food was stale, the bread was at least 2-3 days old. I have stayed at this hotel intermittently over the past ten years on business in Baltimore, but this was my last visit there to be sure. Chose hotel because of proximity to Harbor Place. Very disappointed. Parking was horrible - expensive valet parking or cheaper self park. Garage was a maze. Not clearly labeled as to up or down levels - we kept driving around and around trying to find a space. Very narrow spaces and columns all over, so that parking was extremely difficult. After circling […] for 1/2 hour on top of 3 hour trip, needed bathroom desperately. Only toilet in lobby was locked and security had no key. Had to go into shopping mall for toilet. When we made reservations, asked for two queen sized beds. Was told only had king, but can pay for upgrade which was quite a bit more than what we had contracted for. Front desk person did not make us feel welcomed. Room had view of interior courtyard, hardly attractive. No phone book in room. Swimming pool not open when it was supposed to be. Had a great time! Room was great, location was awesome.

We only had the one day/night. Rained coming in from PA. Rained as we wandered the inner harbor.....but the staff and hotel made it worth the day. Bell boy recommended Tio PePe...short cab ride and wonderful food... we will be back!! The Hotel and the rain...

I took my 3 y/o daughter on vacation and chose to stay in this hotel because it was in walking distance of the harbor, the aquarium, and port discovery. The hotel staff was amazing and completely at your service, the breakfast buffet offered as a package with some rooms was amazing and offered everything even made to order waffles, pancakes, and omelets, […] and again I was able to walk everywhere without my daughter becoming cranky and tired. Customer Service Rep did not give us our breakfast coupons that was included in our package. I also order room service and did not eat the food was cold or not properly prepared. I was quite disappointed seeing this was the end our trip and thought we would stay in Baltimore before heading home.

We stayed two nights in Baltimore on our way to a wedding in Virginia. The staff at the front desk was more than helpful in pointing out local attractions, restaurant recommendations, and directions. We stayed on the club level floor and had a tremendous view of the harbor. All major downtown attractions, including stadiums, are within walking distance […] or can be easily reached by the nearby water taxi. It had the most comfortable bed that I can remember sleeping on in a hotel. The club breakfast, happy hour, and late night desserts were excellent and an unexpected surprise. Again the staff was courteous and responsive. We enjoyed the hotel so much that we returned for another night on our way home. When we got to our room there was a minor plumbing problem that was fixed immediately while we were at dinner. The hotel was very comfortable and was within a short walking distance of the Baltimore harbor. HOWEVER, the first room we were given had not been cleaned and was extremely dirty. Also, we had to call multiple times to get a roll away bed for our children. Overall it was a mixed bag, but we would give this hotel another try.

The hotel was beautiful and very well located. My wife and I went down for Easter weekend and had a blast. The hotel bar on the 5th floor was awesome n the drinks were nice n strong lol. Mall adjacent to the hotel was nice also. Would def recommend this hotel to everyone.

Would definitely come back! The staff was very polite and welcoming. Perfect location for baseball and football fans.

We spent Easter weekend in Baltimore to see the Yankees at Camden Yards and for our boys to see the Maryland Science Center. The hotel was in an ideal place to walk everywhere. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was amazing. We will be back!

Accomadations were really good but our room was a long walk to elevator. Located above a mall and across the street from the inner harbor. A little pricey, compared to some of the other hotels we have stayed at in the inner harbor. Would stay there again but would probably try and stay somewhere a little cheaper.

Hotel was perfectly located. Very clean and very comfortable. ALL staff was aslo very polite and accomadating. Only flaw we had was the hotel room doors SLAM closed....all evening! We could hear everyone in all the surrounding rooms slamming their doors- or so it seemed. Doors just close very loudly and hard. We had a wonderful visit, the hotel staff were incredibly helpful and so very nice !! We had crab chowder at the restaurant in the hotel and it was amazing !! THE BEST we've ever had , we highly recommend that everyone who has the opportunity to try it

The staff is attentive and happy to be working there. More than one occasion, I walked through the lobby only to hear staff of different levels of management talking and laughing together.
