The room smelled strange, there was a hole in the wall and water stains all over the ceiling. The staff was very nice and helpful, it was a short walk to the beach and very close to things we needed to do.

This is exactly what I needed for my quick business trip to the area. The beach was a 3 min board walk away. Complementary breakfast is bagels, toast, cereal, and waffles.. good enough. Microwave, Fridge included and a great location. The small details clue you into the fact it is an older hotel, but I was very satisfied and give it 5/5.

Good location. Can't believe I was charged the amount I was charged for what I got. I did not feel safe and my room was not maintained. Had I not been tired and it was getting late, I would have left. For quality of service, the gentleman who checked me in was nice.

Internet service was not working. TV remote was not working, no stopper for the bathtub. Room had a musty stale order....I checked out after the first night and did not stay the second night.

Our carpet was so dirty that when we walked into bathroom tile floor after being on the carpet, our feet stuck to the floor. Stains were everywhere. Sticky places on the furniture. Wasn't cleaned very well before we were there.

The ramada is not updated. It's old and it has dirty walls with paint peeling off. It needs a overhaul!

This hotel is terrible- should be shut down. We arrived at 7pm and the room was not even cleaned or made up from previous guests. Were switched to a new one. This one wasn't any better. The bed was very loosely made, dark hairs still in the sheets. Towels smelled clean, but still damp- as if quickly dried & not finished. The bath mat was black with […] dirt & yes, still wet. Trash cans completly full to the top from previous guests. Hotel phone was dead, no dial tone. Floors hadn't been vacuumed, trash all over the floor. The key card timed out the next morning, so we had to go get it fixed. The only nice thing about this hotel was the front desk gentleman, he was very nice. This was the worst experience we've ever had. Never will we stay there and I will make sure to tell everyone I know to stay away! もっと読む

It was good

Hotel staff was very friendly and addressed all complaints promptly. There were a few. Like the room internet . .....trust me...bring your own ethernet cable . Other than that, they failed to clean room the first night only .And the ice machines were broken but they fixed it quick. great location, excellent trade-off between the beach and the mall :)

Very reasonable, clean, and well located. Only problem was in-room Wi-fi did not work and had to go to the lobby to use it. Never worked the whole stay. They advertise in-room Wi-fi and it should work!

ok for a budget....dont go during spring break!

THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THIS HOTEL WAS THE LOCATION TO THE BEST.. I READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE I BOOK AND THE REVIEWS WAS NOT GOOD. SHOULD HAVE LISTEN. THE ONLY THING GOOD WAS. IT WAS CLOSE TO THE BEACH. I WOULD NOT STAY HERE FOR MORE THAN ONE NIGHT.. HOTEL IS VERY OUTDATED.. THE WIRELESS INTERNET DID NOT WORK IN THE ROOM..

Great access to the beach but I wish it would have had a better view of the ocean.

Our room was not clean. The carpet was very dirty and the blanket on the bed was torn. The bedspreads were very dirty. We only had tepid water...did not have any hot water. We actually took pictures of the room and torn blankets and sent to our spouses. The personnel on the front desk were fine. No problems with there.

Even though the staff was friendly, I would not recommend staying here. I had to move rooms three times... 1. GPS didn't lead me good directions the to hotel but by calling the hotel front desk , he give me great directions to the door. Hotel is close to the shopping center and easy walk to the beach. Room was clean and up to standards to me. This is a great stay especially for the price. Don't expect too on the breakfast though.lol

Great location and better prices. One of the beds had a mattress that needed replacing. The room was big and comfortable. Nice shower. Large frig and microwave were a plus. Thanks for a great stay.

Although the cheapest in Destin it is not worth the money. The location is the best part of the hotel and its close to everything which is nice. Don't believe the photos of the room because our room was a 1976 throw back. The wireless connection in all the rooms were non-existent my friend had to go to Starbucks across the street to access wifi. Every […] time we went to the lobby there was someone was there complaining about something that was not offered or was broken. Talked with the tenets while at the pool and there beds were lumpy and uncomfortable. The complimentary breakfast was not a compliment at all the waffles were wet and soggy and after I placed them in the toaster and smothered them in syrup (which was cheap) it didn't help the taste at all. I had a great stay at the hotel. It was clean and had nice big rooms for a great price.Also it has a boardwalk that goes behind the hotel that is very nice and pretty that leads to the beach.Overall i would highly recomend it'

Over the stay was alright for the price breakfast could have been better on the section of food, there wifi was not good to use, had to stand outside to use it.

This hotel is in a great location. It is on the beach and directly across from the sandestin outlet mall. The hotel itself is clean, although old. The beds are comfortable enough, but the rooms are big and equipped with a refridgerator and microwave, which is nice. I would definately recommend for the price.

Perfectly acceptable hotel for the young crowd that needs a place to sleep. Not so great otherwise. Elevator smelled of urine and when I told the girl at the front desk she said, "Yeah, I noticed that yesterday." It wasn't particularly dirty, just old and slightly run down. You get what you pay for though!

The young guy at the counter was very professional and very personable. I would recommend this location to my family an d friends. Great price and great location. Weather did not cooperate with us during our stay. Breakfast was good for a quick fix.

Stayed there 2 nights while in Destin, room was not at all what it appeared to be on internet pictures. We went and stayed out another resort for 3 more nights for only $40.00 more and was WELL worth it. Way over priced, really old hotel, rooms were really stinky......

The walk to the beach is about 5-6 min. If you really want to be at the beach & nt spend all your money on hotel rooms, then this is the place to stay. Family accessible & friendly.

The hotel room was very dirty. There was food in the couch and a dead bug on the bed sheet. The carpet did not look as if it had been vacuumed. We booked this room because it was rated very clean. When I entered this room, the bathroom was clean, however, there were cobwebs ALL over the light fixtures and dust on the ceilings and walls. (It was there for some time since it turned black) Hotel desperately needs to be updated. Would not recommend this hotel, even at a cheaper rate.

Great location with board walk to beach... New carpet also. Wireless internet didn't have a good connection in room but worked great at the pool area...

The thing I will remember most was that the carpet was extremely sticky, stickier than an old movie theatre's carpet. But, I saw them replacing carpet the day we checked out so it will probably be fine in the future. I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel was clean and nice and location was great. The breakfast was much better than expected. The only negative was they forgot to put soapbin my room and we were woke up the next morning to a saw running on the room under us from a repairman. But overall, it was a nice stay.

I have stayed here a few times. It is a pretty nice hotel that is in a good location. The staff is always friendly and helpful. This room is a pretty good value for the dollar. I will stay here again....

The carpet was very dirty, I wouldnt advise anyone to walk barefoot in the room. The fridge didn't work and there were rips, tears, and holes on the sofa. The walkway to the beach was nice but other than that everything else was unsatisfactory. Oh and the complimentary breakfast was more like an insult.... So dont stay there if you have a choice.

We were given a room next to the mechanical room. Every time the hugh water heaters came on it was like someone playing drums. Fortunately, the heaters didn't come on too much in the middle of the night and we could sleep some. No one should ever stay in room 405--it was awful.
