We've stayed in the area before, but the Doubletree was by far the best hotel. Clean, comfortable, quiet -- nice king bed with lots of pillow choices. Check in staff was very friendly and even gave us extra coffee pods for the in-room coffee maker. And how can I not mention the warm chocolate chip cookie?! Will definitely stay again.

It was nice but I guess I just expected more since it was a Hilton owned hotel. There is a hotel right next to it called the Hyatt Place that we stayed before but the Doubletree was just a little tiny bit less so we went with that. But the Hyatt was just better. The hotel was overall very nice. But the walls are VERY thin. I heard numous phone conversations from people in the rooms adjacent to ours. There is a $25.00 fee charged to your card (for accidentals in case anything happens to you room) - if you check in on a weekend, it takes longer to come off of your bank account. But my card was charged twice. […] (ie - 2 separate $25 charges.) When I called the hotel on Monday, they told me it's been happening lately (guests being charged twice) and they are trying to figure out why. But overall, it was a nice stay. I stayed at this doubletree hotel, because I have a good experiences prior at other locations. The hotel staff were very courteous, the restaurant at the hotel was very clean & the food was excellent. I highly recommend hotel, this is easily one of the best doubletree hotels I have stayed at.

Staff was very accomodating...very nice and friendly place to stay

Staff was not very friendly. Some areas seemed "worn out", particularly the carpeting. As we were leaving, some carpet was being delivered so maybe this will be taken care of. We were there on days around Thanksgiving. No breakfast one day and only continental next. Pool and exercise room were nice.

TV didn't work. Unattractive room and uncomfortable bed. Spoiled coffee creamer and no sugar for coffee. Staff was nice. Breakfast was ok and free because of our problems.

I had no problems at the hotel. Very nice and comfortable. Only issue I had was paying for WiFi and then it being very slow. Felt like dial up.

The beds were SUPER comfortable as were the pillows! Great night sleep in a very clean and attractive room.

We really liked our stay overall; the staff were great and helped us with things we needed. Location was near several restaurants, and the reception staff gave us coupons when we asked about places to eat. The location was relatively close to the zoo, which was a main reason why we were visiting. I didn't really see why this is a 3.5 star hotel, though; […] I feel like I've stayed at 2.5 star hotels that had similar service (and those places included breakfast, which this place does not). Really liked the location. Far enough from downtown so not congested even on a football weed end. Lots of places to eat, polaris is very close as well. pet friendly but $50.00 charge. They do put you on the first floor if you have a pet and we were located in a less used part so not a lot of traffic or lobby to deal with when taking dog out. Would stay […] again. もっと読む

Internet access extra PER COMPUTER. Bed was not made one day. wet towel was left behind door. shampoos were scattered around tub (after cleaning?)

Wonderful lobby, friendly staff and was greeted with a warm chocolate chip cookie. Yummy! The room was just an older style hotel room - nothing special. The bathroom was more updated. Bed was comfy. Hotel.com had the following description: ...'Rooms are equipped with flat-panel televisions with satellite channels'...but my room had an older style TV. […] Watching the local TV news, the TV picture and audio were not in sync which I find annoying-Sound stopped but their lips were still moving. The sitting chair in the room was very uncomfortable. I soon exchanged it for the desk chair that had more padding on the back. Still not comfy. Take the directions! The hotel sits back from Route 23 and if you choose the next street to turn on, you will be backtracking. Lots of upscale restaurants around the hotel. For the price, it was okay. We stay in hotels alot, and we are very picky!!! My family loved this hotel!! The staff was soooo wonderful! If I ever stay in this area again I will definately stay here!!

This was a pleasant stay! I was greeted at the door and the employee at the front desk was very professional. The room was very clean and neat. I would recommend this hotel to all who ask.

The food was fabulous! We ordered room service twice. Only issue was the kitchen called at 6:30AM about our 8AM breakfast order. The lobby was beautiful, too. The bed was soooo comfortable.

We stayed at the DoubleTree Columbus for three days over the Labor Day holiday. The hotel was clean and service was good. This hotel, though updated, is designed in the 1970/1980's style. No microwave, no mini-bar and the layout is from that time. However, late one night our son decided to stay the night and the hotel delivered a rollaway bed within […] minutes and didn't charge us for it for two nights. Our room was clean, perhaps the mattress was a little tired. The hotel's location is outstanding with many restaurants within walking distance and Interstates and major highways are right there. The price was excellent which makes up for the dated architecture so you won't have any regrets. We will surely stay here again when visiting Columbus. もっと読む

Hotel fairly clean. Carpet in hallways need to be replaced. Update not complete. The standard is mini friges and microwaves in rooms. Really missed the boat. Also no wireless access unless you paid for it.. I like convenciences. This place was lacking. Close to nice eating establishments.

Very good location. Extremely clean. Staff is friendly and helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Double Tree Hotel. Everything was excellent. The room was nicely decorated and the bath room was really very nicely appointed. We were very comfortable during our one night stay.

Nice hotel, worth the money, and room was clean and comfortable.

We booked our stay online for two double beds for a family of three at the Columbus Doubletree Hotel. When we arrived the hotel was fully booked and we were given a room with one double bed and offerred a cot. While we were extremely not happy with this we were told the room was non refundable and that we were not being given a discount because we were […] actually being offerred the cot for free and would normally have to pay!! We were outraged!! The mgmt man was rude and had no customer service. The room we received obviously hadn't been booked in yrs because the towels were full of dust when we used them. Rooms were not updated at all and carpet was dirty. Matresses were hard as a rock as was the cot. Elevators were old and one was not working. Towels were in short supply. We were there last weekend and had a great time. The hotel lobby was very modern. The rooms were clean and newer. It was a great location, close to the highway, restaurants and movies. Would like to have had a continental breakfast, but for the price of the hotel would not expect breakfast!!

Room was nice, Even though it was a smoking room, it didn't smell like something was decomposing like it does in most hotels. Beds were great, breakfast was yummy. The pool and tub were much smaller than I thought they would be from the pictures, but it turned out I didn't have time to use either.....so no biggie there. Great location, great service, great spa and indoor heated pool. The Sunday buffet was simply outstanding. Many dishes to choose from. Most of all the hotel was pet friendly. Maybe not as upscale as other Doubletrees but was priced accordingly. Will stay again Greg

Everything was acceptable even though the hotel was not like the Doubletree's I'm used to in California. This one was smaller, less up to date, but was clean. Make SURE you double check your hotel bill upon check out. The front desk supervisor tried to run my debit card for the cost of internet access upon check out and said "your card is declining". […] I thought that was odd considering my check was just direct deposited (thus the need for internet access the night before). I paid in cash and left. 15 minutes later my bank called me asking if I had approved a $845 charge at Doubletree. The human error took me a half an hour to explain to my bank. I had to wait another 30 minutes for my card to be "reactivated" at the gas station before I could continue traveling. To top it off the front desk supervisior was acting like I was some kind of dead beat when the card declined. The whole time it was her fault. Next time I'll drive an extra 10 - 15 minutes and stay some place a lot more new and nice. もっと読む

Beds are really comfy and the breakfast buffet is great. Great value for the money.
