トーン ホテル アストリア (Thon Hotel Astoria)格安予約

その日のフロントの方が日本語ペラペラでした。エレベータや朝食のドアもカードキーが必要です。満室だったので広い部屋になり、快適でした。バスルームが床暖房になっていて、洗濯物を並べておくとすぐ乾きます。ホテル内はｆｒｅｅＷｉｆｉが利用できます。朝食は暖かい食べ物も多く、豪華でした。

オスロ中央駅から歩いて5分くらいに位置しています。 大聖堂までは歩いてすぐでした。 建物の真ん中に中庭があり、それを取り囲むように部屋があるので、エレベータを下りてから部屋までがちょっと遠かったです。 さらに、チェックアウトする日の朝エレベーターが故障中で、スーツケースを持って5階から階段を下りる羽目になったのでちょっと印象が悪いです。 部屋自体はごく普通です。 ちょっと古いですが、掃除はきちんとされています。 ただ、シャワールームとトイレの境目に段差などが無くシャワーカーテンで仕切られているだけなので、シャワーの水滴などがどうしてもトイレの方にまで行ってしまい、床全体が微妙にぬれてしまうのが気になりました。

Thon Hotel Astoria のシングルルームに６泊しました。 オスロ中央駅から徒歩２分程度、メインストリートのカールヨハン通りを曲がってすぐ、という立地の良さはとても助かりました。 他の方のレビューでは、道路に面した部屋は夜中まで外で騒ぐ人達の騒音がひどくて眠れなかった・・・とありましたが、私が泊まった時期はノルウェーの12月、真冬だったので、さすがに外で騒ぐ人はおらず、問題ありませんでした。 ただ、ホテル内の廊下や近隣の部屋の物音は時々聞こえて、結構響いてきましたけど。 部屋自体はとても清潔で、日本のビジネスホテルと遜色ありません。 嬉しかったのは、バスルーム（トイレ、洗面台、シャワースペース＜バスタブなし＞が一体）の床がタイルなのに暖房が入っていて暖かかったこと！ シャワー後もタイルが早く乾くし、トイレや洗面で使うときにも、足元が暖かくて寒さが全く気になりませんでした。 到着初日は、シャワーの水の出が悪かったのと、ドライヤーのコンセントが緩くて、押さえていないとドライヤーが止まってしまうので困りましたが、翌日の朝にフロントにそのことを伝えたら、夕方までにはどちらも直っていました！（カタコト英語しか話せないのでノートに状況を書きながら説明したら、すぐに理解してくれました）。 ただ、水がお湯になるまでに２～３分かかったので、それだけが残念でした（これについては特に何もリクエストしませんでした）。 朝食はバイキング形式で、メニューは豊富でした。 パンにコーンフレーク、シリアル（雑穀）、ドライフルーツ、スクランブルエッグ、ゆで卵（かためと柔らかめ、2種類ありました）、ソーセージ、ハム、ピクルス、チーズ、トマトやきゅうりのスライス、果物。 飲物もコーヒー、紅茶（ティーバッグ）、ミルク、ヨーグルトドリンク、オレンジジュース、アップルジュースがありました。 塊をスライサーで削り取る、キャラメル味のヤギのチーズ（ブラウンチーズ）がとても美味しくて、毎朝ぞりぞりと沢山削ってパンに乗せて食べていました。 レバーペーストやケチャップ味の煮豆、鯵の酢漬け（一般的な酢漬けとケチャップ味の2種類）も美味しかったので毎朝欠かさず頂きました。 自分で焼き目をつけるワッフルがなかったのが唯一残念でしたが、朝食は大満足でした！ […] もちろんお代わり自由です。 コーヒーは朝食を取るダイニングルームで24時間飲める、とホテルの説明ページに書いてあったので、使えるのかフロントに聞いてみたら「フロント脇にあるマシンでも24時間、ストレートコーヒーなら宿泊者はタダですよ」と教えてくれたので、マシンを利用していました。 外から帰ったとき、必ずフロントは通るので、その脇にあるマシンはとても便利でした！ ホテルスタッフはどの人もとても親切で、感じが良かったです。 宿泊費は１泊が諭吉を少し超えたくらいでした。宿泊の１ヵ月半前頃に予約したので、もっと早く押さえたらもう少し安かったのかもしれません。 でも、立地や部屋のグレード、スタッフの対応、朝食の内容を考えると、物価の高いノルウェーなら十分見合う値段だったのでは、と思います。 ２泊目に、部屋のごみ捨てやタオルの交換はされていたけど、シーツや枕が新しいものに変わっていなかったので（布団や枕はきれいに整えてあった）「土曜日（週末）はベッドメイキングがないの？」とフロントに尋ねてみたら「連泊のお部屋は、１日置きなんですよ」と教えてくれました。 このように、スタッフはとても丁寧に答えてくれるので、わからないことは何でも聞いてみるといいと思います。 英語が下手でも、一生懸命伝えようとすると、スタッフも理解しようと耳を傾けてくれました。 おかげで、とても快適に過ごせました。 Thon Hotel は他にもあるので、ぜひ別のところも利用してみたいと思います。 もっと読む

This hotel has a good location, but otherwise it was a disappointment: 1) It was difficult to get warm water in the shower. It was possible, but took quite a while. 2) The ventilation was not working, and the air in the room got bad. In the breakfast table my colleaguet told me she had exactly the same problem: she had woken up and opened the window […] at 3 AM to get some fresh air. 3) Perhaps due to lack of ventilation, the bed sheets did not smell fresh, as they usually do. It was as if the bed sheets had been there untouched for ages. 4) During check-out these three complaints were written down by the hotel reception, to be passed on to the managers. I have heard nothing since, contrary to principles of good customer service. Now it seems to me as if they had no motivation to perform any better. This hotel is in the middle of the centre close to the major attractions of Olso and just a short walk from the central station. The hotel has a good breakfast, rooms are clean and somewhat tiny. At the rate we got we would have expected more, the first room was tiny, dingy and had the smallest bathroom known to man. My grandmother was to stay here for four nights with her daughter, but we complained that it didn't look like the pictures and got upgraded to a family room. The chambermaid didn't vacuum or change the sheets even after we complained that they were stale and dusty for the entire stay. The other guests were young and left cigarette buds and empty beer cans in the halls and elevators and were noisy at best. The street is also under heavy construction right now and should be for a very long time. This was very inconvenient as the street was closed from the city side and detoured our taxi quite a bit. Cheap, centrally located hotel. Good location, basic hotel. Don't expect that much - but if you wan't to sleep cheap in Oslo this is this place. Small rooms.

The room was quite small (single room), as well as toilet and shower compartment. Cleanliness OK. WLAN OK, Breakfast OK. Price difference between this budget Hotel and other may not be big enough to justify using Thon Astoria.

This hotel was very nice and a fair price for Oslo. The service and amenities were excellent, including a lovely breakfast buffet included in the price. Business services were excellent as well--free wireless service in the rooms that always worked and an easily accessible computer in the lobby that included free printing, which was great for boarding […] passes and itineraries. The only detractor was the size of the rooms, which were quite small, but very clean and comfortable, although the bed was quite narrow. Good location for walking around the city centre and getting to main railway station and doing tourist things. Small quiet room facing central courtyard. Plentiful and tasty breakfast buffet. Would use again.

The rooms in the new section are a good size and with excellent beds. Those in the old section are very cramped, especially dfor two people. Neither room has cupboard space. Excellent breakfasts. Very friendly reception.

This hotel was perfect for my purpose. Oslo is an insanely expensive city. For example, dinner for one at McDonalds was a little over $25 bucks. This hotel is perfectly located in the middle of downtown. All the staff was very helpful and professionally nice. It is a budget hotel so don't expect luxurious shampoos and carpets and that type of stuff. […] If that's what your looking for then I'm sure Oslo has plenty of very expensive hotels to offer. Don't buy a budget hotel and then expect luxuries. The free breakfast in the morning was quite good and worth its weight in gold. That type of meal would easily cost 60 or 70 dollars in Oslo. The hotel is located in a high traffic area which was what I wanted. I saw some reviews complain about the loudness on the weekends. That's true to some degree but don't get a centrally located downtown hotel if you're looking for peace and quiet. Go stay out by the airport 40 minutes from downtown if that's what you're looking for. Saturday night did have loud club music playing well into the middle of the night but closing your window helped and I'm not complaining because this hotel's advantage is it's heavy traffic location so it would be dumb to complain. Again, the staff members that I dealt with were incredibly helpful and nice so what more could you ask for? We arrived late after a long day travelling and we were lucky as the double rooms were gone but the upgraded us to a family room! It was great and very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean modern and had a good shower. We were on the main street so there was noise from below but it's a city so it's expected and it did not stop us sleeping! […] Breakfast was a good selection! If all you want is breakfast and a central place to sleep, this is good value for Oslo. Location is very central if slightly dodgy. Room was clean and bed good but few TV channels and no bath, so not good for lingering in. Usual good Scandinavian breakfast buffet, though down a side stairs and long corridor.

Friendly and helpful reception staff. Good clean room furnished in functional Nordic style. Excellent shower which often isn't the case in budget hotels. Fantastic breakfast buffet that would shame many a larger, swankier hotel. All in all, great value for money.

The hotel is very well located, a 5 min walk from the central station. Very nice and clean room. It can be a bit noisy during the night, at least if you have a room with windows to the street side, despite being on the 4th floor I could still hear a lot of noise from people on the street, there's a few bars near by. But overall a good stay.

This hotel has very convenient location with simple and comfortable service.

This hotel was close to the train station and the main "shopping" street. The room was plain and simple, expensive by US standards for a basic room but still nice. very close to the train tation (and bus terminal). I stayed in a single room, which was reasonably big, clean, everything functioned. Breakfast buffet choice was simply fantastic, I would not expect to have a fruit platter of watermelon and grapes in Oslo. It happened to me both days that I brought a plate (or a cup with my tea) to my table, went away to refill a glass with water and when I came back, my breakfast was gone and the table was cleaned up (obviously they thought I have left). The hotel staff were responsive, the room always clean, the breakfast (included) was a nice assortment of options, nicely presented. My one criticism was that the rooms were warm at night. I would go back.

The Thon Astoria was ideal for our needs, although the first night there the street below was very noisy from a rather sketchy bar across the street. The second night we closed our window, and that solved the problem. We were happy enough that we will stay there two more nights when we return to Oslo.

We stayed 2 nights at the end of a tour of Scandinavia and this hotel was a good location for walking all around Olso and getting to the train station for our airport departure at the end of our trip. Good breakfast included in rate.

The room was very, very small but very clean and convenient to the train station and some lovely shops. There is a club downstairs from the hotel that played extremely loud music until late in to the night. It was a bit too much. Once it ended, about 2 am, everything was fine for a night's sleep. Clearly a party person from the loud club from the night before who did not have a room. Not cool. Why? I think it is a decent hotel for a night's stay and would say that it is good enough for just that except for the noise. You get what you pay for. This place wasn't too expensive compared to other hotels in Oslo, but I got a single bed room and it was actually the smallest room I've ever stayed in, ever! Super location near the Oslo S main train station. Easy to find. Check in was seamless. They have a free internet access terminal in the lobby for quick use by guests. Great location in the middle of oslo city everything in easy walking distance

2 blocks from train, just remodeled the rooms and nicely done. All Thon Budgets are great.

Exactly the necessities needed. A bed, a shower and close walking distance to the Central Railway Station. Only minus is that they should change batteries in the remote control for the tv. was too tired to phone for new ones.

Title says it all

The other reviews talk about noise, my experience was much worse. The bar below the hotel started playing live heavy rock music and my small room sounded as if it were in the speaker. Earplugs didn't even help. I imagine that things are not always that bad but beware. Otherwise, the room was clean and cozy.
