I went for a weekend trip. It was placed between 4th st live and The Yum Center which those were the two places I needed to go. It was a short walk but they do have free shuttle just in case. Stayed here for a concert at the Yum Center so I was only there one evening. The hot water was not working in the morning. After calling the front desk they indicated that the boiler had just been fixed and to let the water run. We let the water run and waited 45 mintues and the water was still not hot. Very convenient, clean hotel. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was great. Only negatives were noise in the hall in the middle if the night and the bed was uncomfortable. I didn't sleep well, but everything else was nice.

The hotel was clean and the breakfast was nice to have. We were VERY disappointed to find out that the pool was closed for renovations as we were going to go in! I did not appreciate not being told this prior to booking OR when we checked in. After traveling for 8 hours, the pool was one of the main reasons we booked this hotel.

Well at about. 10:30 at nite the hotel ceiling sprang a leak and we were moved to a different room on a different level. The in this room the toilet stopped up... Other than that the lobby and food were great !!!!!!

Hotel was overpriced for the neighborhood. They charged me for on site parking and when I returned from the convention center there were no more spots. I had to park in the overflow lot. The adjacent parking lot is for the pawn shop.

Did not know that the hotel transportation is only available from 7 am to 11 pm. Doesn't work very well when your flight arrives at midnight and you need to be at the airport at 6 am. I thought I was saving money and didn't need a taxi, but I know now.

The Hampton Inn Downtown Louisville had everything I could ask for - from the complimentary shuttle service to the varied breakfast buffet, I had everything I needed conveniently at my fingertips.

I was very satisfied with my stay at the Hampton.The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was awesome, I like staying there that I extended another night. The crew at the Hampton was very kind and considerate..Thanks Hampton for making my stay awesome....

The staff was excellent. Breakfast spread exceeded our expections. Wayne, the bartender went above and beyond to make our stay over the top.

Great hotel that is within walking distance of fourth street live. I'll definitely continue to stay here everytime I'm in Louisville. Great breakfast as well!

We booked this hotel for New Years Eve because my husband and I were celebrating in downtown Louisville. We were impressed with the service and the complimentary shuttle service (before 11:00pm) was extremely nice! We would definitely stay again and recommend to a friend.

We booked 4or 5 rooms. The reason for our visit to Louisville colors my response. We were in Mourning. Yes, If I had reason to return to Louisville I would consider the hotel again.

The place smelt a little funny and why does the pool close at 10? Adults like to swim too.

Hotel was clean, staff very friendly and helpful. Close to everything downtown. Only complaint was the bed was way to soft.

Like most of the ones I've stayed in, this Hampton Inn is very good. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are kept up nicely, clean, and comfortable. This isn't the quietest hotel around (because of the hospitals nearby), but it's fine and downtown, so I was expecting that. The breakfasts could have been a little nicer too, but they […] were ok and had fresh fruit and healthy choices, which I appreciated. The gym is sparse - old, old machines that are not in very good condition, but they do seem to work ok. This hotel was staffed by incredibly friendly and helpful people. It's location is great for the museums, waterfront, and 4th street live--definitely an easy walk. We enjoyed a wonderful stay in Louisville, KY at the Hampton Inn. It was a very easy walking distance to the hip-happening "outdoor-indoor" experience they call "4th Street Live!" The staff at the Hampton were very helpful and we really enjoyed our visit.

We stayed here while competing at the Louisville Ironman. It was a perfect location - close to transition area as well as finish line, expo and dinners. The staff was super friendly - they had a free shuttle to and from the airport. Hot breakfast in the morning was helpful!

From the moment we checked in, we were impressed with the staff. The use of names and a good morning, etc. were always given, the service a the front desk was exemplary, especially that of Jason. We enjoyed our stay here. FREE Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Complimentary shuttle bus was also handy to get to the airport and wedding.

Very nice hotel and so convenient to downtown Louisville activities. Breakfast was good and room was in good condition. Staff was friendly and helpful.

This is a great facility with great service and in a convenient location. The only issue is that it is located near a hospital. We were awoken once in the night by sirens.

We took a bachelor party to Louisville and there was a sign at the front counter qualifying the fact that the hotel is in an area with plenty of nightlife and noise. We come to Louisville every year to go to Abbey Road on The River, and evey year we stay at this hotel. We have no complaints about the hotel.

Clean!! Convenient to our destination; shuttle every 30 minutes with a courteous driver; very friendly & efficient desk clerks; wonderful choices @ complimentary breakfast; convenient parking with plenty of carts available for loading our equipment. The hotel was great, price , location and service. The only disapointment was the fact that breakfast was not available in the morning. That was one of the reasons we chose the hotel as our son was attending a college orientation and taking a test so breakfast was important.
