Very clean and quiet atmosphere although it is located along the high-way. Walking distance to the bridge and biggest antique shop in the area which was the favourite of my wife. The hotel will be the one to stay when I shall return.

"Well pleased with everything"
We were very pleased with our hotel stay at this hotel. It was very clean and well kept. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was adequate. The staff were extremely nice and helpful when we were looking for restaurants to go to. However, our room had this terrible smell. Thankfully we did not spend much time in the room. Really only to sleep and shower..and THANKFULLY we brought candles with us, which we had lit the entire time we were in the room. The maids came daily to clean but that […] smell would not go away. Front […] desk service was excellent. We road the metro into Portland from the bus stop at Shaw's, easy enough to do if you are a visitor. #4 goes in, transfer to #8 to go to the wharf. Get a transfer ticket when you get on at Shaw's. Allow time to ride on the bus into town if you are scheduled to do something, at least 20 minutes I would say. This hotel should never have been rated 3 Stars. The room had a huge cobweb in the corner of the drapes that was obviously there more than one day. I had to ask the front desk to have it removed otherwise it would have still been there. The continental breakfast was so so and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was sketchy. We stayed overnight because we were "passing through." Excellent value for the price, especially compared to other hotels in the area. Check in was a little confusing- they had to "unblock" rooms so they could give us one- and we had reservations. The girl at the desk told us to look for doors 6/7 or 8- we drove around the parking lot twice and finally used 8 since 6/7 were nowhere to be found. A continental breakfast was included, and there was a decent assortment of food. The beds were very comfortable. The only odd thing was a strange tapping noise- I'm a light sleeper, and it kept me awake for a while, and woke me once in the night.
