今回、母との滞在でWhitcombを利用しました。ホテルの外観や部屋は、わりと築年数がたっているなと感じますが、特に問題はなく、清潔感は程々といったところでした。フロントスタッフや荷物係の方々の対応がまぁまぁ早く、親切だった点がポイントupの要因です。ただ、ホテル周辺のCivic Centerエリアはあまり治安が良くないということなので、夜は歩かない等、滞在の際は気をつけてください。

一泊しましたが、連泊で泊まりたかったです！キッチンは広くて、屋上もながめが良く海が目の前でした。部屋の作りはリビング、キッチン、バス、寝室とすべて別れて一日では使いきれないほど広かったです。値段も安かったので、次は連泊で泊まりたいと思います。専用駐車場もあったので安心でした！近くにスーパーもあります！ベット寝心地が最高でした。

古い建物で、部屋がゆがんでましたがベットはふかふかでゆっくり休めました！駐車場代、一晩17ドルは少し高いかな？。スタッフはとても親切でした！

BART, or the Bay Area Rapid Transit, links San Francisco International Airport with The City (as San Francisco is commonly known among locals). Some of the leading biotech and Silicon Valley companies are within minutes of the airport.

I was appalled when I walked in the room! The hotel and room were nothing like they looked online! The lampshades were melted, the wallpaper was peeling, all the hinges and metal objects in bathroom were rusted. This is an older motel that has not been renovated, but an accepable business hotel.

"Inexpensive, but acceptable. You get what you pay."
Traveling on business I wanted to find a cheap hotel. This hotel was clean and safe. It was a convenient place to sleep. "Breakfast" was a joke even by continental standards (the coffee maker wasn't working) and the staff was less than welcoming. I would not bring my family there. But if I am in San Carlos on business I would use this hotel again.

We needed a place to sleep close to SFO for an early morning flight. This place was very convenient, clean, comfortable. Owners were very friendly and made us feel welcome. I was shocked that they didn't have a crib. I've never stayed at a hotel that didn't have one for guests. Also their "continental" breakfast consists of a mini muffin with a mini orange juice. You can hear the train go by at night so if you're a light sleeper, it might wake you up.

"Good bed for the $."
Bath a little moldy, but the room was clean. Hotel is next to the train tracks so there was a little bit of noise at night. Overall I have no regrets and think this was a great value.

The continental breakfast consists of pre packaged pastries, orange juice and coffee. If you just need a place to sleep, this will do. It is about 6 miles from Stanford University. Plenty of places to eat between Stanford and hotel. Neat HWY 101 exit.
"Good location"
The rooms need to be updated. Bathroom wallpaper was peeling from the walls. The bedspread had cigarette burns along with sheets. Coffee maker pot had a broken off handle so was not usable. Would not consider this hotel for future stays.

"Stay at the Other Dump Down The Road"
I was so totally dissatisfied with the cost and amenties of this place - for the price for 50% less you can stay at the place right down the road which is not all that pleasant, but doable if you're only looking for a shower and a place to crash, which is all I ask for. The moment you walk into these rooms you know the place hasn't been updated in 20 […] years because the VHS player gives it away. Then the mattresses tell you they've been around way past their prime, as well as the bed dressings and carpets. Let's not forget the peeling mismatched wallpaper in the bathroom. For another 20 I'll be going to a much better place or for 25 less I'll go to the dump down the road, but I would never never recommend bothering with this place again. もっと読む

The manager was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and functional. If you stay here, though, know it's on a very busy street and is across the street from passenger rail. Although not as noisy as freight trains, Amtrak can be pretty noisy, too. As for the surrounding area, since parking is limited, you have to park behind the hotel, […] in an alley. "Great Choice"
Great location to downtown restaurants. Quiet and comfortable.

Spent three nights while we were moving. Location was convenient since we were in Redwood City. EL Camino is noisy (no surprise). Close to train (more noise) which was no surprise either. Walking distance to nice restaurants but neighborhood did not feel as safe as I thought it would. Place needs a significant refresh. Continental breakfast was prepackaged […] pastries and OJ cups. Did not unlock the door until after 7am. Owners hovered to make sure you did not take more than one. Similar awkward experience when asking for a couple of additional towels (is there really a cost for a towel that you are going to leave behind?). I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great location with not a lot of funds to spend. This hotel has everything needed to make one feel comfortable and safe.

Pleasantly surprised how roomy and clean this place was. The exterior aesthetic appearance of this hotel is not that great but I am very familiar with San Carlos just off 101. Absolutely no room left in San Francisco city or airport area and was left with no choice but this hotel. Given with the same position as I was in I would not hesitate to stay […] here again. 1000 times better than the Ramada Medford Convention that I stayed at the night before.
