I hotel needs to educate the resturant staff on the coupons issued to the guests i had to send back the check to the hostess to correct the bill at all the times i ate at the resturant other vise the food was good

I reserved this room months in advance for a 30th anniversary. On the Positives : 1.Pre-purchasing the breakfest with the room for $10more per day for both of us was an unexpected blessing... The bathroom was just too small for the room considering the price of the room. It was a bathroom you would expect in a 1star motel, not a 4 star, big disappointment. 2. Winter Break, There were a lot of children and the noise at night was not handled well by the staff, even the parents were loud in the halls after 10pm. I had to call about the issue and it still was a problem 3. The pool too was over run by many children, there should have been times -late for just adults. 4. Another negative was the exercise room-real small only 5pieces for such a large hotel....the children's play room next door had more space and more items. Overall, We liked the location, and had a good time for the two days we stayed. But for the $$ it was a bit steep..The bathroom and noise were the main issues. Most everything was lovely except The hot tub is outside.....and for a grandmother & 5 yr old not acceptable for winter! The key cards did not work well.....had to change cards twice and still didn't work very well..........have to put into door and pool door up to10 times!!. Restuarant was very good! and kids eat free!

This is a great hotel, very clean, and has quite a bit of amenities. The room was very comfy, the only issues are that the AC/Heater unit is loud when it is on and the fitness center could be beefed up more. However, the pool, the restaurant and bar, the hot tub, sauna, fire pit, and more are wonderful! I would return!

Staff was friendly and responsive. The indoor pool was very nice (did not see the outdoor pool area). Very convenient location to the village and restaurants. I was with 3 young teens who really enjoyed it all, Beautiful view from the lobby. Breakfast buffet excellent. I would recommend this hotel to others.

We chose this location over the theme park hotel because of the cost savings. This was a great move. Right down the street from the parks, and I actually think the atmosphere is an improvment over the park hotel. Very clean, pleasant, relaxing, luxurious feel. Our daughter loved it. This was the second time staying at this property and we were not disappointed.. Everything was excellent and the staff was very accommodating..We plan on returning in the near future..

Great experience from check in to check out. The hotel has a contemporary feel to it even though our last visit was 39 years ago. I expect that it has recently undergone a comprehensive rennovation. We chose this hotel based on reviews read prior to booking. Although more expensive than the rest of the hotels in the area, the stay was comfortable. Rooms were clean and spacious. The hotel was very nice! We were able to utilize all aspects of the hotel and everyone of them was top notch. We ate breakfast and supper and the food was fabulous. We used both of the indoor and outdoor pools and they were clean and the perfect temperature. The rooms were super clean and the maintenance staff was excellent. A very good hotel within walking distance of town has alot of very good amenities for families including inddor/outdoor pool playground, basketball court shuffleboard etc. The pool was a bit crowded during the day. A public beach and center of the town of Lake George are within walking distance so you can beat the traffic and don't have to worry about […] parking. The hotel was beautiful and in a great location - easy to walk to all the village area attractions. The only downfall for us was that the hotel was a little too kid friendly for us, as a couple without kids. The pool was again beautiful like the rest of the hotel, but is only 4 1/2 ft deep at it's deepest point and they do not have many lounge chairs. […] They also have a relaxing hot tub that is only open until 10:00pm and most of the kids are still up at that time and were all in the hot tub!...which makes it very difficult to relax and enjoy after a day in the sun. もっと読む

we came at noon and they gave us our room. It was very clean and comfy. Both pools were clean and beautiful although not as big as they appear on the photos. Every year I visited the Lake George area for the NYSACRA conference, it was the first time staying at the Holiday Inn and it was a delightful experience. Great service!

The Holiday Inn turf is currently under some construction, but noise was a minimum and did not conflict with our visit. The decore is beautiful and you have in my opinion, the best view of Lake George as the hotel is on a hill. The only "complaint" I have, is that the heating system is very loud and as soon as the temperature drops in the room, the […] heating comes on to maintain. Everything was very clean. Staff was very friendly. Close to I87. If your in the Lake George area, I highly recommend this hotel.

The good: clean. nice pillows. sauna was nice. The bad: Extremely loud, can hear every noise to the right, left, above, and in the hall, including people and pluming/heating noises, you hear every toilet flush and every shower in the rooms around. Maybe an unlucky room but I would not recommend this hotel, its more like 2.5 stars not 3.5.

Hotel staff was friendly and all. But like the rest of the town, does not take constructive criticism well. Was ask how was everything and I spoke my mind about the plumbing. Noisy.. every time the room next door uses the bathroom.. we can hear it. Room was not necessary dirty, but not clean.

This place is just nice in general. I recommend the breakfast packages so you can just roll out of bed and eat. The food is pretty good too. Not one complaint.

rooms are very smal but clean

The Hotel front desk staff could have had better customer service skills. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant place. Lots of things for kids. Great for families. Very clean.

We enjoyed our recent stay. We had a suite, which was clean, roomy, comfortable and had a lovely view of the pool and afar, the lake. It was family oriented, with a giant chess board, swing set, and putting holes outside.

The room we had was a standard king, and while it was really clean and lovely--with a wonderful view of the lake--our particular room was extremely small. Smallest hotel room I've had in a while. No place even to really put my bags. The staff was nice, the room was clean and up to date, and the only real downside was the pillows. My wife and I did […] not sleep well because the pillows weren't down--they were way too thick and hard. Even with 3 options, the smallest one was too thick. Polyester fill or something. I've traveled a long time and there's a few that I remember as being "a great place to stay". This one will definately be on my list for quite some time. Great pizza in town that delivers right to your room, beautiful views of the lake, and extra manicured lawn, pools, and grounds. My husband and I was there on Labor Day Weekend for our Anniversary and we had a great time. We stayed on the 3rd floor suite #355 and had a great view of the Lake, especially once they lit the fireworks over the lake. The bartenders were awesome and the staff in the restaurant were very quick to please. We met some nice people there , who are regulars every year to Holiday Inn.
