ホテルマンのサービスと接客が最高でした。一階illyのコーヒーショップのホスピタリティも最高でしたし、美味しいillyのコーヒーを購入して、ロビーでゆっくりコーヒーを楽しめるセルフサービスも、他のホテルでは味わえません。部屋に冷蔵庫がないのが残念ですが、必ず、また泊まりにいきたいです。

部屋からの眺めは、昼・夜共に最高です。 部屋の広さも充分あり、3名にて1室利用でしたがゆとりがあります。 Grand Central駅まで数ブロックありますが、距離的にも問題ありません。 また利用したいホテルです。

ホテルの場所は国連の前に位置する。そのためスーツケースなど大きな荷物がある場合には、空港からタクシーを利用するか、スーパーシャトルが便利。早朝に到着したのにもかかわらず、すぐに部屋を用意してもらえた。宿泊した部屋は３４階で、ニューヨークの街の一部分を見渡せる素晴らしい景色で、特に夜景は素晴らしいかった。ホテル周辺もホテル内も静かで快適。但し部屋には冷蔵庫がない上に、湯を沸かすポット、買ってきた酒や水を飲もううにも、うがい用のコップ以外は何も置かれていない。すべてをルームサービスで頼めみたいな感じでこの手のサービスは酷く悪い。しかもチェックアウトは１２時になっているのにもかかわらず、９時過ぎからハウスキーパーが代わる代わる来て、何時にチェックアウトするのかを尋ねられる。これだけ景色がよく、静か […] な環境が得られるホテルなのに、部屋内の設備不足を残念に思う。 もっと読む

３９Fに宿泊しました。エンパイアステートビル、クライスラービルが見え、朝方に日が昇る頃、夜のライトアップされた景色、どれも最高でした。 １人で宿泊しましたが、部屋も広くベッドは快適でした。 すぐ近くに２４時間開いているお店があり、便利でした。 駅までは、少し距離があり大きな荷物があった為、大変に感じました。タクシーを利用するとスグです。チェックアウト時は、フロントのスタッフがとても素敵な笑顔で見送ってくれました。

部屋からマンハッタンの摩天楼が目の前に見えて大満足です。エンパイアステートビルの展望台に行かなく良いくらいの素晴らしい眺望です。最寄り駅（グランドセントラル）から少し歩き、夜間は歩いている人が少なくて治安的に少し気になりますが、何とか歩いて戻れる距離です。また部屋は少し古い感じでしたが、マンハッタンはどこもこんな感じなので十分満足出来るレベルでした。

The hotel was generally outstanding. My two complaints are that there was no coffee in the room and although in a lovely NY neighborhood, not very convenient for subways. OTOH fabulous views of the East River.

This hotel was very nice. I had a corner room that was large with great views. The amenities were great. The restaurant was overpriced but luckily there are a ton of great restaurants in walking distance. It was definitely worth the price!

We were delighted with the area and the ease of reaching other parts of the city. We bought an unlimited metro card the first day since it gave us the flexibility to use it for even short distances if we so desired. We also picked up a subway and bus map which is necessary. We ended up in one of the smaller rooms but it was still larger than many NY hotel rooms. We were on the 37th floor (all of the rooms are up high) - as a result the room was VERY quiet which we liked. Nice view north to the east river. Would definitely stay there again.

When nothing is happening at the UN, this is our favorite place to stay in New York. It's just a couple of blocks from Grand Central Station. There's a full size pool overlooking the East River, the UN Headquarters, and down into town. Where else can you see the Chrysler Building, Empire State Building, the UN, etc. from your room? I had to find a place quickly - within an hour. I could not afford too much and this hotel had a rate under $200 and 4 start rating! So, I picked it. We had a great big room, comfortable bed and a great view of the city. I think the room could have been a bit cleaner. Good stay!
