ホテルはいろんなところに行くのに便利だが、改装中のせいか、チェックインで何時間も待たされたり、ベッドのサイズが違ったり、金庫が充電されていなかったり、ミニバーが開かなかったり、サービスの欠陥が目立った。

エキストラベットのリクエストは、無理でしたがグレードアップの部屋への変更で素敵な部屋での宿泊でした。 初めてのＮＹでしたが、立地条件が大変良くて、観光やたくさんの買い物など出来て最高の旅行でした。

今回が初めてのニューヨーク旅行でした。 ニューヨークのホテルの口コミを見てあまり期待していなかったのですがどこか壊れているなどといったことはなく快適に過ごせました。部屋はシングルで狭かったのですが、４０インチくらいのテレビがついていて、ベッドも大きく不自由なく使えました。 また、７番街で中心部から近いといったこともあり、よくホテルの前に警官やパトカーが停まっていたり夜も安心して帰れました。 またコンシェルジュも自分のつたない英語でも理解してくれて非常に助かりました。

ブロードウェーを見てから、 夜でも安心して歩いて帰れました。 MOMAにも歩いて行けます。 お部屋はリノベ後できれいでしたが、 バスタブがものすごく狭いです。

今回の旅行の目的がリンカーンセンターでの観劇だったので地下鉄のアクセスがいいシェラトンを選びましたが 大正解！終演後も20分後にはホテルに到着していました。他の方が書かれていたような狭さもＮＹではあれ位あれば普通かなと。（スーペリアルームでしたけど） タオルやアメニティの補充もちゃんとしていましたよ。 ただアッパーイーストサイドの美術館に行くのが多少地下鉄の乗り換え等が面倒って所ですが。 全体的には満足しました。

最近、改装を終えたばかりだそうで、部屋はきれいでした。マンハッタンのホテルにしては外の音が遮断され、静かでした。地下鉄駅もすぐ隣で、観光には申し分なしです。また、利用します。

ホテルのグレードである程度の安全料を込め選んだが、納得したのは立地条件くらいかもしれない。 まずチェックインでダブルベッド１つの部屋を案内された「予約はツインでしてます」と言ってもレセプションの女性は全く取り合ってくれなかった。 その横にいた男性が変更の手続きをしてくれたが、 「途中で部屋の移動があるかもしれません」と言われたときには正直このクラスのホテルで予約内容がきちんと伝わらないなんてことあるの？と不信感もあった。 部屋はまずまず清潔だったが、掃除はそれほど丁寧ではなく、ごみが少々残っていたり、バス・アメニティの補充が日によりなかったり、違ったり、タオルの数も同様のことがあった。 立地が良い分外の騒音が耳障りなこともあったり、高層階なのに窓が開いたままだったりとところどころ手抜きがあっ […] たが立地条件を考えれば我慢できた。 もっと読む

タイトルどおり、ミッドタウンの真ん中に位置するため、とにかく立地が素晴らしく、大変便利です。私は美術館をまわりましたので、MoMAへ歩いて５分のこの立地は何よりでした。 内装は2011年４月１日の段階でリノベーションが済んでおり、家具も寝具もモダンなデザインで清潔でした。クイーンサイズのベッドに広めのソファ、デスクがあり、一人の旅行には十分ゆとりをもった広さでした。特にデスクと椅子はきちんとしたもので、長時間の作業も苦にならない点が助かりました。 備え付けのコーヒーメーカーではお湯がわかせ、スターバックスのコーヒーパックとティーバッグが毎日補充されました。バスは清潔で、お湯はたっぷり出、アメニティはボディミルク、シャンプー、コンディショナー、マウスウォッシュ、せっけん、どれも、悪くないもの […] でしたし、頼めばスリッパももってきてくれました。総じて、疲れをとるには十分に居心地よいホテルでした。結局行けませんでしたが、向かいの姉妹ホテルのプールを無料で利用もできるようです。 ただし、日本のシェラトンのような豪華さ、サービスの手厚さはありません。アメニティも悪くはないですが豪華ではありません。コンシェルジェも受付も普通です。でも頼めば頼んだことをきちんとやってくれます。（←重要） 全体的には清潔で安心感のあるビジネス用ホテルという印象です。 ビジネス用と割り切るには、各部屋のネットが有料だったり、地下のビジネスセンターが今一つ使い勝手が悪かったり、という点は残念なところでした。階下のロビーでは無料で無線LANが使えましたが、他の方もご指摘のように修学旅行生らしき集団がざわざわしていたり、すきま風が入ったりで、集中して作業はできません。 また些細な点ですが、備え付けの冷蔵庫がミニバー形式のもので、自分の食品を入れられない形式なのも、不自由でした。 以上のように、ちょっと豪華なビジネスホテルにしては割高感は否めませんが、この立地で、安心して疲れをとることができ、一応の作業もできる点で、全体的には満足ですし、おすすめもできるホテルだと思います。 もっと読む

予約した際に「全日程朝食付き」で申込みましたが、チェックアウトの日の朝、ドア下に差し入れられた請求書にはそれまでの４日のうち途中の１日分だけ朝食代が請求されていました。レセプションで確認しましたが、対応の女性は「内１日の宿泊費は特別料金なので３日目の朝食は付かない」と言いました。 では「５日目の朝食はどうか？」と聞いたら、「２日無料、１日有料なので５日目の朝食は有料」と言い張るばかりです。 それでは「あり、あり、なし、あり、あり で５日目の朝食は付くのではないか」と何度も確認したのですが、「５日目もつかない」の一点張りです。飛行機の都合もあったので、朝食はとらずチェックアウトしました。ところが最終のレシートを見たら５日目の朝食は無料になっていました。差し引き「朝食２回分」多く取られていました […] 。さらに身に覚えのないドリンク代まで請求されていましたが、こちらは最初に交渉した時に撤回させました。 ロケーションはとてもよかったのですが、部屋のタオルの数が足りなかったり、グラスが足りなかったり、チェックいアウトの日ではないのに、部屋まで来て今日チェックアウトかと従業員が聞いたり、情報管理が徹底していません。夏に泊った某日系ホテルのほうが落ち着きもあったし、こじんまりしてよかったなと思いました。 もっと読む

場所がどこに行くのにも便利でした。スーペリアルームを予約したのですが、部屋は狭かったです。フロントにもう一度、 本当にスーペリアか、聞いたところ、そうだと言われたので、普通の部屋よりは広かったのかもしれません。ただ、エレベーターが２１階から上の部屋は、別になっているので、エレベーターを待つストレスがありませんでした。（22階の部屋でした。）もしかしたら、上層階がスーペリアと言うことだったのかもしれません。冷蔵庫が、ありましたが私物が入らないタイプなので注意が必要です。

I will never stay this hotel. Dust has accumulated in the room. Never posted a bad review before but would be remiss not to warn others. On arrival there were 36 people in line to check in and only 2 working the desk. Stood in line for 45 minutes to check in. Had reserved two rooms with two doubles. At first look could tell the beds were not doubles. No way that 2 could share the 45” wide bed. Called to rectify […] the situation and got the run around. Hotel insisted these were double beds. Finally after much hassle we were offered a room with one king bed and a chaise. Not paying NYC prices so that someone can sleep in a reclining chair. We had booked non-refundable rooms so we were stuck. Spent a very uncomfortable night. Final insult came when we went to pick up our car from the valet. Again, the line was unbelievably long and moving at a snail’s pace. It took 1 ½ hours from time we got in line until they brought our car. Told by the desk that they don’t own the garage even though the Sheraton doorman directs you to the garage which is part of the hotel building and has a sign that says Sheraton, they refuse to own it. I’ve stayed at Sheraton’s all across the country with no problems. This place gives the brand a bad name. Any place that had competent management would have more staff to accommodate their guests. I am pretty easy to please and have come to expect some hitches while traveling but this experience was the worst. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. The hotel was walking distance to Times Square and Central Park and many attractions in between. The hotel was very clean and nice and the price was reasonable. We had one problem with the room and they immediately addressed it. We left behind a video game and the shipped it back to us within a few days. We would definitely stay there again.

Checked in early so you're forced to pay $3.25 per bag to hold your bag until the room is ready. $66 for the night to park my "over sized" vehicle. Room was small but clean and cozy. Construction issues from earlier reviews thankfully were over. Door was paper thin so you heard everything going on in the hall.

Loved it...the whole family loved it and we would stay there again in a heartbeat

Room was a little small. But this is New York City. Hotel was great, service was great. I would stay there again. I would also recomend the club foor suits on the 44-50 floors.

It was a nice hotel. I was only disappointed at all the scaffolding outside. They must be currently renovating the front. I know it has to be done sometime but it was a turnoff. The inside was great and everything I needed. Very clean. My personal trainer husband tried the gym and thought it was great for a hotel.

I was at Sheraton New York for 2 days and overall I think it was a great experience. The room was nicely lit and very modern appearance. If I get the chance I would definitely return to stay at Sheraton again.

The hotel was a pleasantly great hotel choice. We get into NYC on a regular basis but generally avoid the Time Square area. We had a special event in the area and were happy to find that this hotel had great rooms, services and helpful employees. THE PARKING on the other hand was HORRIBLE. You would think that at check out time there would be extra staff on hand for the dozens of people leaving, but nope. We waited around 45 minutes for our car when we checked out. Getting the car parked on arrival also took 20 minutes because there was a car parked in front of the entrance. If you stay here come by taxi, shuttle, train, fly etc. but don't drive and park there. The hotel was a a pleasant surprise not knowing exactly how far (walking distance) everything was. We were able to get around to Time Square, Central Park, 5th Ave shopping and a variety of restaurants and bars. We didn't have time to really hang out at the hotel, so I assume that everything is fine. The only thing I didn't care for was the thin walls […] or the loud guest in the neighboring room. The location of this hotel is great. Other than that, we were somewhat disappointed with our stay. We had to call every day to have an adequate number of linens supplied to our room, and the response was not prompt. The front desk staff were somewhat discourteous as well.

We were unimpressed with the hotel. In the 4 days of our stay, housekeeping did not finish making one of the beds, or wet towels were left on the bathroom floor, or the towles were not replaced.

It was alright. It took over 2 hours to check in which was terribly disconcerting.

The Sheraton NY Hotel &Towers was the perfect starting point for our visit. They accommodated our request of same-floor rooms(2), and entire staff polite. Lounge was great for meet/greet,cocktails before and after events. Conveniently located to everything! My second visit,will def be my future choice!

I stayed for 5 nights from Friday to Tuesday. Our bedroom was just off the elevator area and I could hear people getting out of the lifts during the night. On the Monday morning at 6.40 I was wakened by the sound of a machine directly outside my room. When I investigated it was a workman laying black plastic sheeting on the carpet to protect it. Workmen […] had arrived to renovate the corridor and a large plastic sheet was hung at the beginning of the corridor to screen the work. I couldn't go back to sleep with noise of work and voices. This continued for next 2 mornings even though I was assured by a work supervisor that it wouldn't. I was offered another room by the receptionist but didn't want the inconvenience of moving when we had settled in. This was the 18th floor and I had been assured on check-in that all the rooms were decorated. They didn't mention this work which was obviously pre-planned. Not sure why this place gets such a bad wrap from people. Great location. Fair amount of room by NYC standards. The staff was always ready to help. Planning on staying here next time I'm in New York City.

The rooms were small but the service was great. The location was awesome - we walked everywhere!

I had stayed at this hotel years ago and it was still in beautiful condition. I did notice that they had renovated particularly the hotel rooms because they were smaller than I remember but still very nice. I would most definitely be back!

This is my third stay at Sheraton New York after trying several other hotels in Times Square and the only place I will stay in the future. Location, price, cleanliness, large rooms is why.
