ホテルの施設としては、年数が経っているのか、階段が多く、ハンディキャップのある宿泊者には親切では無かった。　その他、ホテル内の売店がいつもCLOSEで利用できなかった。

ホテルの拡大化とともに、全体的にさびれた雰囲気になってしまった。非常に残念なことにルアウショーも廃止された。わざわざ金曜の夜に宿泊したが田舎のさびれたホテルの感じがぬぐいきれない。アメリカが元気が無いせいなのかわからないが、プライドが高くさびれたホテルには泊まる気がしない。宿泊設備は値段相応だとおもえるが、バスルームの排水の悪さにはびっくりした。掃除をすればわかりそうなものだが。宿泊した部屋のラナイからはるか２００メートルのかなたに海がみえるが、真下の中庭が工事中で泥がひっくり返り、工事現場にいるようでリゾートの雰囲気のかけらもなかった。こんなにすいたホテルで普通は工事個所には宿泊させないとおもうが？

(たぶんアメリカの)大人のカップルが多かったです。日本人は数人。部屋はガーデンビューでした。きれいですがやや狭かった(というよりベッドが特大)。ビーチもきれいです。現在改装中で2011年10月にはもう1つレストランがオープンしてもっとよくなると思います。

なんといってもハワイアンモンクシールが毎日のようにお昼寝に来ているのを見られました。 朝食のビュッフェも景色が良くてよかったです。 ただ、夕食のシェルのレストランのお食事は、今一つでした。 近くにあるロイズのほうが断然おいしかったです。 ビーチサイドのランチは、味も量もよかったです。 水金に頂いたマイタイのサービスもうれしかったです。 近くにあるポイプビーチまで歩きましたが、シュノーケリングには波も静かでよかったです。 ライフガードもいて安心だし、こちらにもモンクシールがいたし、わざわざ言った甲斐がありました。

Both the concierge and the travel coordinators in the lobby were very helpful and professional planning excursions and making reservations. It was spring break and the ocean front pool was mobbed with kids, no chairs available, so we crossed the street and used the Garden Pool -- on some days we were the only ones there and had the entire pool (a very nice pool too) to ourselves. We were truly impressed with how much the Sheraton Kauai has been up graded! It is now a resort hotel of very high quality, excellent staff, a fine restaurant in Rom Fire! Would recommend this place to anyone even those who stay at the Hyatt in Poipu!

We had a pleasant stay at Sheraton. The valet parking on the day of arrival was really helpful to getting acclimated to the new environment. The fireplace area offered a great way to relax in the evening. The resort is near Poipu beach, which is one of the best beaches in the world.

Great location, Good views, Beach just feet away from Hotel. We arrived after dark and found the hotel could use better signage, as we had a hard time to know where to turn in from the pool to find the elevator to rooms.
